It's because he's using the new Verizon source code now and is having problems with the touch drivers he's stated in his thread that if he doesn't install t the touch drivers it boots fine but when he installs them it takes 1 to 2 minutes to boot it's also the sharping fix he is currently working very hard to fix this just be patient in sure he'll get it figured out

probably just the android build or the way you copied it to sd card (follow all directions to a T). if your tmobile us , try this link below. you will find the most compatible build for the tmous.

Where exactly did it get stuck? What was the last text to appear on the screen?
Was it placed in the root of the sd card (in the folder Android)?
Mark.

It got stuck like at the begining of the booting of Android,I extracted it to root sd in a folder android..I even tried few android roms... some did the flash light thing and then all screen went white with black strips.
maybe u guys can recommend me a rom that fits the best for t-mobile thx.
did you extract to a folder on your desktop(named whatever you want) and then copy the file named android directly to your sd card?
any rom in the rom development forum will work that states it is android friendly. i actually am running the original rom from tmous and it works just fine, so i dont think that is your problem. although a i have found that a android freindly rom is faster, i just like go with origianl rom for peace of mind since it works for me.
my phone running Android pretty well...
how long you've waited? the 1st boot usually takes 20 minutes
Hmm thx guys i will try again,20 mins boot O_O omg..
on my HD2 not t-mobile.. it boots up fast no problems.
The first boot takes a while as it creates the data img. The larger the data img u choose the longer it takes although some builds come with a standard img

Radio
Try newer radio version
Like others have said. Make sure to copy the files to the SD card correctly under an Android folder and definitely update the radio. I use 2.15 with great success with my TMOUS phone. I use the Energy Cookie ROM, 2.15 radio and Mdeejay 1.1 Clean build. With Wi-Fi and GPS off, I get between 3-7mA on standby now. It is my daily OS now.

Enjoy!
Lrs121
Here it is! CM9 Beta1 Download links.
THANK YOU AND ALL CREDIT GOES TO DragonzKiller For all the work hes put forth
Read entire post before flashing. Its long i know but worth reading.
Known issues for mx2 cm9beta1 without data wipe (comes from my experience with it)
Includes same issues for dx2
constant super user request (see fixes/info)
always says updating android durring startup (see fixes/info)
reboot/shutdown hangs (see fixes/info)
restart doesnt work properly (see fixes/Info)
WIFI does not start (SEE FIXES/INFO)
NOTE!!! IF UPDATING FROM ALPHA 4 Wipe DATA CACHE AND FACTORY RESET!!! DATA WIPE FOR ALPHA 5 IS NOT REQUIRED BUT RECOMMENDED!!!
How to install(credit to DZK)
Installation:
Install the BSR (patched if on CM7/CM9)
Reboot into the BSR
NANDROID <--- you'll probably want to go back to this
Install the CM9 zip from the SD Card MX2 Users Go to the MX2 Thread for the Patched CM9 zip once it has been updated to Beta 1
MX2 ONLY! Install the WiFi Driver zip from the SD Card
Install the GAPPS from the SD Card
Wipe both DATA and CACHE (no need to wipe Dalvik if you wipe both of these)
Reboot your phone
Enjoy CM9 Beta 1
Fixes/Info-for flash with out data wipe
Constant superuser requests - Fixed
when it happens - when you open an app that requires su access
Theory - su updated but the app list didnt causing request loops
how to fix - enter play market; go to my apps and uninstall updates for superuser; reinstall updates; open superuser and manually update binaries
Always shows Updating Android - Info
Info - No fix known, however it does not prevent your device from starting. Itll add on a couple seconds to the start time the first few times the phone is turned on after the first startup after flashing. After a few restarts it only takes a split second and it jumps right to the lock screen.
Reboot/Shutdown hangs (note this is occasional) - Info
Info - When rebooting or shutting down the phone will seem to hang with the rebooting/shutting down notification and the spinner is still spinning. The phone will become unresponsive to button input; that is normal for the shutdown and restart routiens.
Fix - None however the phone should reslove it fairly quickly the longest ive seen it hang is a minute or two then it shuts down or restarts properly. if it lasts longer than that i recomend a battery pull.
Restart doesnt work properly - Info
Info - this usually happens when the restart hangs. the phone will determine that the restart is taking too long and will force shutdown the device. The device will not start back up AUTOMATICALLY. Just turn on the the phone normally as if you had told it to shutdown instead of restart.
WIFI Does not start - info/fix hybrid
Info/Fix - after flashing the rom and the wifi fix, the wifi may or may not turn on/connect durring the first start up, restart the phone. After the first restart the wifi should turn on but be delayed in connecting, wait for it to connect or say its connecting and then restart the phone. afterward there should be no problem with the wifi. if you are still having problems you may need to reflash everything.

DKZ Came out with CM9 for the Droid X2. I tried to flash it and it did not work.
I did some modifying on his file, which he created, to see if I could get it to load in the Milestone X2. We are running a different kernel then the Droid X2.
I wanted to let everyone know that it was a success! With Several hours in trying to locate certain files and modifying them we have
CM9 FOR THE MILESTONE X2
I am in no means taking credit for DKZ's work. He did a fantastic job!
Problems I have seen so far are:
WIFI (working with DKZ to work)
Camcorder
Have not tested
HDMI
Radio
MMS
What works
Data
Text
Call
Touch screen
GPS
Camera*New
Theme's are suppose to work.
The transitions are smooth and I have not had any issues with freezing or anything yet.
When I loaded I came from stock 2.3.6 Rooted

2. Place BSR on memory card
3. Install BSR
4. Load BSR

15. GO back and install GAPP apps.
16. Wipe Factory and Cache one more time
17. Reboot phone

2. Select install
3. Select REcovery Mode
4. Select "Back up and Restore
5. Select Restore

Sweet man! I'm going to try this tonight as soon as I get home from work

We're not going to have any wifi as long as we're using ics from the 2.3.4 kernel...well at least those of us who don't have a working sbf

So us Cspire users don't have a working sbf? Have you tried this yet? I was just about to do it before I read what you wrote lol
If you guys want WIFI working. All you have to do is ask. I know how to make it work for you guys if the ROMs are actually running.
EDIT: I am going to need a few things from you guys first. And I am going to need one of you guys to get me the SBF for your phone so I can get them. If I have it, I can make one that works (at least for that specific SBF, maybe the others).
Sent from my MB870 using XDA
is this essentially for x2 owners that are not with verizon?
Below is the SBF for ntelos wireless running 2.3.6. That is the current sbf for that network and phone.
I did want to say that the firmware of 418 that was just recently released is the same as the Milestone X2. Eclipse made his new rom,2.2, based on this update and the wifi works. I do not know if this helps.

Outside of that the rom boots up, Runs great for an alpha. For everyday use it satisfies me.
Are you going to use my version I posted up their? I just took out the kernel checks.
Thank you DKZ!

This is for Milestone X2 owners. We had issues isntalling CM7, MIUI, and CM9 with their release because we have a different kernel. So I modified DKZ original file so we can enjoy this one as well! They will not flash unless a few things are modified. This has been modified so MX2 customers can still enjoy the same things as DX2 customers.
I'll just make a patch that you guys can use.
Sent from my MB870 using XDA
Awesome!
Here is the patch the *should* work to get wifi working. I have NOT tested it and I don't even guarantee that it'll even flash. It also doesn't have a kernel check. With that being said, if it does work, I can only guarantee that it'll work with the MilestoneX2 version that was given to me in the SBF. As I know there a few versions out there, I doubt the kernel is the same for all of them. I don't have a MilestoneX2, so I wouldn't be able to check these things.
Wifi patch for the NTELOS MilestoneX2:
REMOVED CUZ IT WAS BAD
Also note that this patch (if working) should work with CM7 as well.
I am flashing it now. I will let you know.
EDIT; It did not work. Gave me a (code 6) error.

One thing I can recommend is if you are on stock use regular recovery. If you are in CM9 then use The Batched Recovery for CM7. As long as you do that you are going to be alright. Also look at the rerecovery.

I followed instructions to the letter. Seemed to flash fine but it is now sitting at the black Samsung screen screen for about 20 minutes. How long has it taken for 1st boot? Tried re-flashing, clearing cache, etc.
change your kernel to rj's kernel and flash again.
rj's kernel says it is for International SGP not US. My SGP is US so I am not sure if this kernel will work.

figured it out. i have a USA device as well and had the same issue. It was also strange as to why the flashing process only took like 5 seconds....
i flashed rj's kernel (so my buttons stopped working) then i restarted recovery just so the changes get applied. then i proceeded to flash miui. just make sure in the install options you selection USA keyboard patch and the install process should take much longer (that means its working) and bam.
EDIT: ok so the buttons light up but they still don't work. after booting to miui and sat at the homescreen for a minute or two, reboot and flash entropy's kernel.

So after a couple of hours searching the web, it may be that the GPS problem is inherent in MIUI 2.3.

Hello everyone, I put a CM13 and she accepted the installation and updated the TWRP also, I put the gaps, I did everything, Android starts, but continues with the problem of falling straight into recovery and going to TWRP and something else when I can do it Start it is not with network signal, recohece the chip, but does not give network signal. I do not know what to do with this device anymore. Could you try to install lolipop on it? Which version could I put? Would it be because of being in 6? I installed this rom cm-13.0-20161022-NIGHTLY-condor only installed it right. thanks

Hello everyone, I installed Rom CM that the forum colleague indicated and the gapps and installed, everything went well in the installation and initialized Android, was very good in relation to the previous problems, nor know how to thank you. Just when I call it goes to the screen of the fastboot direct and I do not know how to make it not happen, but at least when the motorola logo appears it starts Android. I only notice a certain oscillation in the signal of the network of the operator and I did not find any file to download and to solve this problem of the signal of the network (or radio as you say) if they know where under some that can be installed for that Rom I thank you. I'll leave it for now and see if it's fixing. Thank you very much, ah, I would like to know if I should install the CM updates that appear on the device, it was so good that I'm afraid to accept it and thunder to give it a problem. Another thing he had TV, how to install this Rom? thanks

Thank you very much, ah, I would like to know if I should install the CM updates that appear on the device, it was so good that I'm afraid to accept it and thunder to give it a problem. Another thing he had TV, how to install this Rom?

You can try flashing radio files.
Find one for your device from this thread : https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e/development/rom-stock-motorola-lollipop-rom-t3167111
I m not sure why ur device is rebooting in fastboot. Generally the most common cause for reboot in moto e is faulty lock button. But that jst reboots the phone. You can try using the phone without pressing the lock button. Use volume key wake up option and double tap to status bar to lock.
Also did you wipe cache data internal before flashing ?
And regarding the updates it depends on you. The updates you are for sering are for cm 14 / lineage os. I personally believe that nougat is still not stable enough and features are still missing hence i advised you for mashmallow roms. But if you want to try u can visit the various threads in android development and android development sections and will find nougat roms.
For installing / flashing instructions read guides in general section.

Okay, thank you, it stabilized the signal from the network operator. I will leave as is and will not make updates at the moment. I just want to know how to make the TV function work. Thanks everyone for the help and I do not know how to mark a topic as closed in the forum.

Been running this for a couple days and it's doing well. I did not flash gapps. The biggest issue I have seems to be that apps will crash once the first time they try to access storage. I just reopen the app to do the same task and it works. Sometimes the MTP service crashes when I do something storage related, too. WiFi seems fine, but I haven't had a chance to use Bluetooth or make a call yet.
Thanks for this. Apparently the last ROM I was running on this particular device was a CM build of yours from early last year .
Adding this a couple days later: Wow, battery life has drastically improved over the old CM ROM.

Just installed this to my Verizon Note 2 SCH-i605.
Running very stable and fast. Definitely better than any ROMS out there.
God bless you!
hi
how to apply it because i'm newer to install custom rooms
I'm having a real good time with this rom. Really brings this ol' girl back to life. I'm also having a real bad time with this rom.
Three issues I'm having so far:
1. Can't send a text. I can get texts in, but when I try to send one out will just say "sending" be then display a notification that it failed.
2. Phone screen turns off on calls and will not come on at all. Power button, home button, prox sensor, nothing gets the screen to come back on. This means I can't hang up and can't press 1 for English.
And 3. Caller ID isn't working at all.
I'm also getting a seemingly random popup saying MTP host failed, or something like that. Not sure if that is related
Any advice on what the problem could be would be splendid.
1. Which carrier to do you use?
2. What APN settings did you use?
This will be easy fix~I have no problems with my rom at the moment.

1. The big red V
2. No idea. Just however it came by default. Been on another rom for a few weeks now. If I remember correctly I did go into the *#*#4636*#*# menu and reset VZW's smsc number, but was dismayed like a mofo that it was of no use.
Would love to get this rom running solid, but the screen going black on a call is a major killjoy.
Update:
Loaded this rom again, still no go on the texts. Tried to restore APNs from a backup and got a pop-up saying this version of Android doesn't allow modifying of apn info.
Most of the entries for all four apn options say "not set"
I can't get it to save my APN. It's the country code. It will not let you have 311 it only let's you use APNs that have a 310 country code. I can't even edit it directly and use the 311 country code.
Any idea how I can get around this.? I've seen this in other ROMs before some ROMs just won't work on virtual carriers. And some don't have an problems with the 311 code.

Is there anyway I can unlock the ND7 bootloader for this device or is that completely hopeless?

the reason is because you swiped after reset.
you should not install any rooting after flashing.
flashing -> reboot WITHOUT rooting option
you shall be fine

Flashed and waited 3 hours. Something is wrong with this phone.
I know because i made same mistakes and installed same thing multiple times until i figured it out.
If you see AICP logo, you are 99% there.
Did you install Gapp?

Use your external micro SD Card for installation.
You don't need to paste ZIP files onto your internal phone from the beginning...Gapp and ZIP files must be stored in microSD Card first.
