Hi,
Got my Mozart last Friday and am loving it so far....can't believe how quick this thing is!
I have one small thing I can't figure out tho. I have all my album art showing, so when I go to music player on the phone and swipe to albums then all the artwork shows. When I swipe over to songs tho, if I select a song then the album artwork doesn't show??
It's the same if I l've paused a song and leave the music app. If I go back into music, the paused track shows right away with the album art but if I select it then the picture dissapears?
Can't figure out if I'm doing something wrong?
Thanks for any help!
Just a small update on this. Since my original post I've tried :
Letting Zune update my album art
Buying a track from the marketplace
Streaming music from the marketplace
Changing album art manually
Same results everytime - still can't get the album art to show on the now playing screen even tho it shows everywhere else?
Does anyone else have this problem?
Cheers
I have a bug that's occured in both stock and Liquid Speed ROMs and would like to share.
I have been using the built-in Google Music app as my media player and have discovered an easily recreatable (for me) bug. When playing music off the internal memory that does not have album art the slider bar you'd use to fast forward does not function, the music timer does not appear, and the timer which would show the length of the song indicates 0:00. If I try to use the slider to fast forward to any point in the song it resets to the beginning.
This problem does not occur if the media has album art attached.
Is there another version of Google Music I could try? Perhaps an older one?
If not, can I get recommendations for an alternate media player?
Thanks
Hi,
My first thread here. I have recently updated my s3 to Android 4.3 and everything is fine so far expect a strange lockscreen widget behaviour. I've set up dashclock widget as a default one and it stays that way until I enable data transfer. Whenever I turn on data transfer my default lockscreen widget becomes what you can see in the attachment. In order to see the dashclock widget I need to swype to the left. When I turn the data transfer off the dashclock widget becomes default again.
Is this a normal behaviour for you guys or is there something not right with my Galaxy?
I'm using the China ROM.
I'm on MiUI Stable 9.5.12.0
The notification bar of Spotify is totally black. I can't see anything clearly so i can't change/pause/play the song from the notification bar and have to go to the app everytime to do so. And this is like this on all songs. So it's not adapting to the album art colours. What can i do fix this?
Hey folks,
So I was wondering why there are no media controls on my Honor 10's lock screen when music is playing (usually via Spotify).
It's not really cool to unlock the phone, swipe down, open spotify and press next when all you want to do is skip a song.
Do these controls show up on your lockscreen?
Did I maybe disable them without noticing?
Thanks for your answers in advance!

I do have them there, try disabling having to show your face to show notifications on lockscreen in face unlock settings, was a culprit for me before.

Hey thanks for your suggestion, I've now disabled face unlock, gave Spotify every possible permission (like ignore "do not disturb" mode, draw on lockscreen etc). But still nothing shows up on my lockscreen when music is playing from Spotify.
I even logged off from Spotify and on again like some people suggested in another forum. Didn't change anything.
However I noticed the stock music app makes fullscreen controls appear on the lockscreen (but I won't use that app).
Any further suggestions?

Actually yeah, one more suggestion. If you changed your lockscreen theme to anything other than the default one, change it back to default. For some reason notifications and everything that's supposed to be on the lockscreen is banned in custom themes. No clue what's wrong if it isn't this.

Thanks for this suggestion, too.
I already thought this might be a problem and changed it beforehand.
So now after I made all these changes:
Lockscreen design to default
Disabling Face Unlock
Enabling the rights for Spotify to send Lockscreen messages
Enabling all possible rights for Spotify basically
A notification for currently playing Spotify tracks shows up quite randomly.
I assume it needs some time to show up. It doesn't show immediately after I play music and lock the phone.
If turn on the screen like 3 minutes later, it's there sometimes.
Now it would be awesome if it showed up in fullscreen mode on the lockscreen (like the huawei music player does) and show up immediately.
Thanks for your help so far, feel free to post further suggestions if you come up with something.
