Yea, that's annoying. We'll probably need Root + Xposed to get rid of that.
Why should we root when samsung can give us a update many things are missing/buggy in S6!

This is why it is known as samsung, you will never notice this kind of issue in xperia.

I've never seen that pop up on my phone, under what circumstances do you get it?
It's because you're not subscribed to a mobile internet package. To remove this message from coming up, just disable mobile data under the settings options and you wont see it. I get that sometimes when I travel overseas and don't subscribe to a data package or data is blocked.
Mobile data is subscribe. I think this is bug in Indian version

Have a S6 with Vodafone in Germany and I have a 5GB Data Plan and still get this ****ing Popup everytime I turn off mobile Data, which I do often because of the poor battery life. Annoying as ****.
I guess it will be fixed in new update as I type I am downloading new update it's just minor fix not 5.1.1
Hopefully this update should fix it

Hey guys, I'm still really annoyed by this message. Is there any way to fix it without rooting? Or is there a way to fix it with rooting? I can't really find anything about this issue.
It's probably not as easy as disabling the heads up notifications with ADB.
It's functioning as designed. It's not an issue, although it may be annoying to some (including me). We no longer get the message popup about turning ON airplane mode, so, ya know, they had to come up with some other annoying message that pops up every time you do something instead of like only 5 or 10 or even 20 times until you remember it.
Anyone found a way to get rid of this message yet? Thx in advance.

Does anyone find a solution. ?

I have an unlocked Galaxy S6 in Australia running latest Android 5.1.1, it also has this issue.
There seems to be no way to turn off the message. It looks like an android 5 "feature". Maybe should report it as a bug to android developers... very annoying.
Any way to disable this annoying pop-message?
I need to remove this too, it completely slows my navigation on the phone, and I can't really switch fast from wifi to mobile data with that annoying popup. There's not even a checkbox "Do not warn me again", just please let us know what file to edit (rooted phone) to get rid of this popup... I looked into build.prop but this file has nothing to do with that popup.
Any clue ?
Would be great to know if this message can disappear

Can't access it from the market.
My number is ported through google voice.
What give? Am I missing something?
IDK what to tell you, I have it. I used it to text before I even activated the phone.
I have a 3D now and I was able to download it just fine. Works good on EVO 3D.
working good here too, try rebooting your phone.
Yup, same here. Works great.
i noticed this today also
i got my phone yesterday and downloaded it fine
i got my moms today and its not there in the market
Wait, what? Can anyone else confirm this? I know it's probably something that will get resolved pretty quickly, but I'm going to have a major problem if I can't have my google voice app for even a day. I guess I'll just not activate the phone until someone posts that it's definitely in the market.

When I searched for it, I couldn't find it either. I had to find another Google application and at the bottom of that app's page, click on "View other applications" to see other apps developed by Google.
i just 'pushed' it from the android website from my desktop. it's there. it works.

In general, when I can't find a known app on the market, I go to www.appbrain.com , find the app and install it with the QR code. DON'T create an appbrain account and it will show you everything, not just the apps that it "thinks" are compatible with your phone. Here is a direct link to GV and here is the actual QR code if you don't want to bother with all that clicking.

That will probably do it, but if not, you can either A) uninstall anything you installed, or B) (recommended) do a factory reset, start from scratch, and don't install ANYTHING until you see if the phone is ok. Assuming it is, then you can add apps back a few at a time until you find the culprit. Or with a stock experience if it keeps happening, take it back for a new one
I would do a backup and the do a factory reset.
Would doing a factory reset break root? Since I have already done a nandroid, would I be able to restore apps and app data only after the factory reset?
via Galaxy S III
To my experience NO I just factory reset and still see superuser under "all apps"
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
Finally someone got the same issues as mine. I got mine fixed. The main problem is the google account. No matter how many times you do factory reset, error will show again and again.
Try this and see if this work.
Goto settings --> Accounts and Sync.
go through each email account, make sure "Sync Internet" "Sync google play books" "Sync google play movies" are UNCHECK!
restart your phone.
That might solve the problem
Thanks everyone for the comments I will give it a try and see what works and I will let you know.

I hope that works lol, I have had that issue since out of the box.
I have a Rogers Galaxy S3 and mine began doing it yesterday, while in the waiting room of the dentist office.
The phone became rather warm and battery life went to crap. And then my phone started throwing up the same message. I dod not install or uninstall anything just before it began.
It was ok last night, but then it did it again this morning, while I was browsing through my tweet timeline in plume.
I had a similar issue on mine when rooted. I ended up having to delete the whole data partition and start again from scratch. It was a corruption somewhere in there causing it.

I have just, in the past couple of days, developed a pretty serious issue with pop-up ads appearing all over the place on my phone. They come in two different ways. 1st is when an ad pops up over the top of another app. This has happened with GO SMS and with the Facebook app for sure. I can't recall what other apps it has happened with, but I don't get the impression that the ad is related to the app I'm in. I've had them pop up on the home screen as well.
Here is an example of a pop-up ad when I opened GO SMS:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I also have it happen where I open my browser (I use Chrome) and it will automatically launch a new tab, then the tab will act as a redirect and send me to the Play Store for another app (basically sending me to the download/install page for an app).
I don't recall installing any apps just before this started happening. I believe that my app list is the same before and after this issue, but I'll keep looking. I have not rooted and am using the Nova Pro launcher, if that helps at all.
How can I figure out what is causing this and, most importantly, how do I make it go away? A factory reset is an option, but I'd like to keep that as a last resort if possible.
Thank you for any and all help.

Air Push Detector said it is not necessary for Android 4.1+. I ran it, though, and told it to scan anyways. It didn't find anything.

I can try that. If that is the offender, that'll be a real bummer. Used it for about a year, now, between my S3 and Note 3 and never had an issue. I got pretty comfy with using it as a messaging app, too.
That said, if it is going to cause pop-ups like this, it isn't worth it.

I had an add on, but it was from a while ago. I can't really think of a thing I changed between it not happening and happening.
I have deleted GO SMS, though, and have not experienced the issue since. Looking like that was the culprit. Now I just need to find an acceptable SMS app.

As suggested probably best is a factory reset. That ought to remove it.
But you need to track down which app you installed that put that in or it will happen again.
Ok, so far I've done the following with no success:
- removed several recently installed apps
- cleared data on play store
- full wipe and reinstall ROM
The [email protected]&# message comes back every time. I have googled this and strangely have not found much on it, nor any clear/useful ideas on getting rid of it, or what app/process makes it show up. Really frustrating...

Damn, finally figured it out, appears it was legit. Maybe associated with the fact that I recently turned on, and then turned off, two step verification with my Gmail account. Hit continue and Google verified my account settings. I had already done that on my pc, but for some reason Google wanted to verify on my phone as well. Weird!

But I am not sure what's new. Has anyone noticed new features on this one ?
Thx.
