HELP!
My Galaxy S3 screen was broken. :crying:
I have patten lock when i start the device and my USB debuggin option is NOT enabled.
I'm able to connect it via adb only when it's in recovery mode.
when i simply connect it after a normal boot, i can't see any files there (probably because the patten lock)
All I want is to get my phone's internal pictures and videos.
Any suggestions?????
I forgot to mention that i have an unrooted rom. (stock)
MHL connector to tv.

Hy all yesterday i get the samsung galaxy s2. Today i was plug it intro computer it was all ok but when i disconnect it then **** heppens
Problems:
USB Not Recognized | Odin | PC | Kies
Already installed USB Drivers from Kies and Downloaded from the Samsung Site
When i disconnect it from USB,AC still show like phone is charging..
What is still working:
Phone can still charge
Phone can still enter Recovery
Phone can still Enter Download mode
Usb Debuging is OFF!
I factory reset it like 3 times
I Wiped data, chash...
All is original on phone
Yesterday i update it to 4.0.4
USB Not Recognized type on any computer i plug phone in ?
you did all that in one day?
send it back and ask for another device
I don't know what to put here...any ideas?
You didn't flash/root anything did you?
Not rooted
nor flashed?
Go to the shop and tell them 'hey, this guy won't connect to my pc, what's up with that?"

This is general discussion thread and possible solutions too...
I recently purchased Ma S 3 and am not able to root it via odin
Thing that i can do:
I can go into Download mode/Recovery Mode
Can connect into odin then the phone is on
USB drivers for my PC working fine
Thing that don't work for me:
When i switch off my phone and then go into Recovery Mode am not able to connect to odin ( Means i don't get the Notification on odin that the phone is Connected and don't then the predictable change in color in the first column as mention in the tutu.
Query:
I do have an pro version on Mobile Heal antivirus on my mobile which is running on stock rom.... is it interfering with my root access
Does S 3 have Knox Firewall that is prevention me to access Odin
Please help.... i know these sound like noob questions ... but hey i cannot help it ...i am stuck
to connect to ODIN, switch off the phone then press VOLUME DOWN + POWER, and then it will ask you to press VOLUME UP to continue. IF your phone is not detected;
Just check the usb port , usb cable, samsung usb drivers.
If the problem still exists, try different cable.
I also faced this problem once.
and also if u r able to connect the phone to odin, while rooting make sure to uncheck REBOOT OPTION in ODIN.

to connect to ODIN you don't need to go to RECOVERY,
press VOLUME DOWN + POWER !!!!!!
HI everyone
I am using 4.4.4 rooted galaxy alpha with developer mode on.
I have installed usb drivers supplied by samsung, despite many attempts my phones storage wont show up in My computer and because of that i am not able to transfer files to and fro from my phone.
Whenever i try to connect, a notification pops up in my PC saying USB device not recognised, however the phones seems to be charging.
also there is no notification on my phone relating to USB connection with my PC.
i have dchecked into settings and havent seen any menu inside relating to USB connections or Mass storage etc.
please help me with it thankyou
I had this problem a while ago. Turn debugging off and developer options. Then plug in the USB and turn dev/debugging back on. Worked for me
Nope, still not working. its still showing device not recognised

Device not recognised.. didn't see that part.. right click my computer. Select manage.. uninstall the drivers you have for the phone.. then reboot. Reinstall Samsung drivers before plugging in the USB cable.. it should then install no problem
I had the exact same problem.
The problem comes from your usb cable, try with another one.

lol for me it didn`t work...i try with like 10 cables and all the things ... nothing happend...please someone help me
i was trying to flash twrp on my lg g3 vs985 and i dnt know what happened screen is now black but when i hold the volume up button and connect the usb i hear it connect and the device manager / port ( con/lpt) it comes up as lge androidnet for vzw usb serial port. please tell me whats happening anf how can i fix it....no recovery and no download mode:crying::crying::crying:

My computer cannot recognize my i8552 device in fastboot mode(download mode). I have install several times samsung usb driver but still the same. But I want to flash twrp, any ideas? driver error code 10

root ur device with kingroot
use rasher app with flash recovery.img via phone storage
if fail then
unlock developer option by tap 10 times on build number in about device
turn on usb debugging in developer option
use pda.net for pc or minimal adb pc
for force install driver on pc

I am also facing the same problem. I waana install Stock again. I tried Minimal ABD, it connects when phone it is ON, but in download mode it says no device connected....

minimal adb not detect device in download mode
only odin with samsung driver and samsung kies auto
run both to connect in odin in download mode

I just use a proper way to enter fastboot mode instead of using shortcut way (by command).
