i just flashed sky dragon 4.0 and now I'm stuck in a boot loop. but its not a normal boot loop, at least i think. it shows the lg screen, then it shows the verizon screen and after that it shows the installation screen for a few seconds. after that it just goes straight back to the lg screen and starts the whole process over again.
I've tried re flashing the rom but it doesn't do anything
any suggestions?

I've had my Optimus G rooted for a while now, and I had recently updated to Cyanogenmod 11 M3 and after a few weeks of good use, my phone crashed for no reason. There was a green screen that said Kernel Crash, demigod fail or something and some other stuff. Told me to press up to do this, down to do this, power to do this…. Anyways the phone wouldn't boot up after that. It was stuck on the LG logo. I could only get it into fast boot and download mode but from fast boot there was no way to get to recovery or regular boot. I found the TeenyBins post and tried to fix it using both of the .bins they had but at 85% the phone tried to boot up and was stuck on the LG logo again. Then I found the stock .bins and tried to flash them over, yet I got the same result. I've tried everything I can think to do, if anyone has any suggestions, please please help.
Teenybins don't have an OS. Did you try to get into recovery after flashing them? Doing a hard reset after stock bins may get it to boot, but internal storage will be wiped. For future reference in the demigod screen the buttons are backwards.
After flashing Teenybin I can boot into fast boot, but from there when I select recovery it goes back to the logo. Same thing happens if I select the other options. It's the google logo, not the LG logo, because the Teenybin I most recently tried was the alternate file

If you are already in fastboot, download any recovery (CWM or TWRP) extract it, rename it to recovery.img from the zip and then go to the folder where you have adb and fastboot bins and type:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
from there you'll be able to access recovery.
Thank you for the help, I was going to try that last night after reading your post but I took it to the AT&T store and they said they would replace it for free (warranty). I appreciate the quick response time.
Phone took a dump today. Was fine, then shut down, then wouldn't boot past boot screen. Enter safestrap, wipe all, no boot. Odin to stock mj9, no boot. Factory reset after doing in stock recovery, no go. After Odin the phone will get to the Verizon splash screen then shut down. Subsequent attempts to boot after that will not make it past the Samsung logo. It doesn't stick there, it just shut off. Odin completes succesfully. Any ideas?

Sounds like a partition curroption..Have you tried using Heimidall and flashing each image separately?
Also, you might want to bring it Verizon tell them it won't turn on..
But you can try what I suggested above..
I tried to update to cm13 and flashed the 35B modem and kernel. I then wiped and flashed cm. It didn't boot so i tried Resurrection Remix. I finally got it to boot by selecting safe mode. It didn't boot into to safe mode but booted normally. Now I only get passed the lg boot logo every 5 or 6 times I try to boot. I get a black screen and have to power+volume down and continue boot. Eventually it boots and everything seems to go as normal. I'm only using it as a WiFi device for my daughter to play with but as far as I can tell the radio is working fine and there aren't any other issues. I'm not sure if there was a partition I should have flashed with the other two maybe I missed something during the update... Coming from cm 12.1
I got a G925A that was stuck on ATT logo, i reloaded the SW (PJ1) on it, and its still stuck on the att logo, then i did a wipe, and cache wipe on it. Now it boots to android is starting, but its stuck on that screen for 30 minutes, so i hold the volume down and power again, but now it gets stuck on ATT screen again. So I feel like there is something wrong with it, on the system status it says custom, even after i reloaded the software.

How did you do it? How did you flash it?
This morning out of the blue my stock verizon LG G5 rebooted, and has been stuck in a boot loop ever since - pops up to the LG logo screen for seven seconds, goes black for one, then back to the LG screen, ad infinitum. I CAN get it to boot to recovery (Power+Vol Down) but none of the selections make a difference - even selecting Factory Reset and Yes simply results in the device sitting on the Yes screen for a moment or two, then... back to the LG logo screen for seven and rebooting, over and over.
Is there anything else I can try, or did my phone self-brick?
If it's not the infamous LG Boot-loop then you can try flashing stock rom through LGUP or LG Flash Tool.
