[Q] [CAMERA ISSUE][MTK6xxx] Rear camera hasn't detected - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I've bought a Kingzone z1 a week ago. It hasstocked firmware KOS 1.2 (Android 4.4.4 based), unrooted and bootloader locked. It's CPU model is MTK MT6752.
The first time i've turned it on and i've selected camera app this was the error message: "Galley app has stopped abnormally" so i've just restarted my phone. After the restart camera app works only with front camera, antutu doesn't detect camera, MTK Engineer mode has only sub cam, other camera apps detect only front camera too.
I've changed firmware, i've done a factory reset but nothing. In kingzone's forum they tell me to replace the phone but this is a problem for me for costs and for time it need.
So today, casually, during the charging of the phone i've entered in the factory mode (vol - and power) and I've selected "Item Test/ Sub camera test" then "Item Test / main camera" both test passed. Reboot phone and my back camera works greatly! but this works until I stopped charging phone. After a few minutes of the end of charging "Galley app has stopped abnormally" and again, after reboot, only front camera detected.
Other details:
1) if i do the same process of the factory mode when i'm not charging the phone, this stucks during the "Item Test / Main camera" with a black screen;
2) if i don't reboot the phone when i have the "Galley app has stopped abnormally" error i can start to charge the phone and after a few seconds from this i can use my back camera normally.
At start i've thought about an hardware problem but after this "discovery" i'm not sure at 100%. Can you help me to resolve this problem?

EDIT 22/04: It doesn't need to be in charging mode but it need a micro usb plug so if i use the OTG adapter or i plug the charger without charge my camera works (if i've done the item test in the factory mode) ...

Hello, Did you managed to solve this?..
I bought a kingzone z1 in everbuying, back camera does not work same error as you, after FOTA i openned camera and i could see partial image with a lot of green lights and after camera freezes and same error as you, opened a RMA and tried to make warranty valid in everbuying but they do not respond! assholes!! so i guess warranty is not an option for me ad seller refuses to answer my RMA or tickets.
I was reading that sometimes the hardware can disconnect a little bit (other phones), and that removing the battery cover and gently press the camera can help to reconnect the Camera lens back to the SOC.
So can you please tell me how is your situation now and what have you done?.

Hi, i've solved just doping what i've wrote vere o in this thread on officiale forum ( i can't post link, look for "back camera doesn't work" in kingzone forum z1. You need 14th e 15th post)
I've bought it on everbuying and they were really helpful and propose me to send back to them but i haven't accepted because i was out of budget.
Try to see my solution on officiale forum, probably it works to you too. My camera works 99% of the time and if it doesn't works a little pressure of lens solve easy.
