I am currently using a*Samsung*Mega 6.3 GT-I9205, software version Kitkat 4.4.2 and i would like to upgrade to 4.4.4 and would like to check if there is an official Samsung*Firmware update available. Further, i understand that there is a 4.4.4 USA (T-Mobile) update available, in that regard could i download it and use it on my phone. I am from Singapore and would appreciate any and all assistance on this.

Our Mega stopped at 4.4.2, no update to 4.4.4, you can check new firmwares released at Sammobile.com.

i need an answer for this
i bought my samsung s4 in malaysia,.using malaysian firmware of google 4.2.2
now samsung malaysia have release an official 4.3 android,
but when i tried to update trough OTA
it says that my phone is already on latest firmware
now im in russia BTW
moscow to be exact
i tried to update trough kies but failed due to different country code and phone code that im using
i tried clearing the google framework service but nothing was updated
can anyone help me

hurm,.its already been rolled ot in malaysia 4.3 samsung s4 i9505 lte..but i cant update here ota and kies,.i have confirmed its already been update with the forumers in malaysia and they also didnt know how to solve this problem

As you can see the Malaysia 4.3 hasn't been released yet.
The lastest Official S4 Firmware for the malaysia Firmware is 4.2.2

I have a T-Mobile S5 that I got for a really great price that is unlocked and currently running on the ATT network. I cant update it from either carrier and I would like to know how to update it to the latest lollipop update available. I have been looking for awhile and cannot find any definitive answer to which firmware I should use. Android 4.4.2 baseband version G900TUVU1ANCH

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
If Knox got tripped, that would prevent you from getting OTA. Not sure if being on a different carrier would do it for that phone as well.

If you are rooted and want to keep root, update via Muniz_Ri's rooted stock ROM. I would however, advise you to wait a little while. The current Rooted stock rom is based on firmware version OG6, Android version 5.1.1, and it's pretty buggy.
Soon Muniz_ri will update his rooted stock ROM to the latest firmware, OJ4, which is much more stable.
If you don't care about rooting, just download the OJ4 firmware and install using ODIN.

The reason it says your on the latest firmware is because you are rooted. At&t firmware is hard to come by as they lock the bootloader and device down. If you are not bothered about root flash stock firmware and you can uodate OTA.
I have the same problem except that my phone is not rooted, im on stock AT&T Android 5, but it still says i have the latest firmware.
Someone told me that it has to be connected to AT&T cell towers to find the update but even that didn't work for me.

I will give it a shot but first i need to find the stock firmware because its hard to find for my device specifications, and i will let you know if it worked for me
Edit: flashing the stock firmware locks phone to only at&t network since i use different network i will not try to update it
