To keep from cluttering up the Deff screen protector thread, I wanted to start a thread on the Nillkin Full Body Protector with the black frame.
-I am still awaiting for my shipment to arrive, but wanted a place to discuss this protector further. Once I receive it I will post pics and details about the install if someone else hasn't by then.
I ordered one from ebay for $10.99. They can be found from $10.99 and up here:
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odk...=Motorola+Nexus+6+Nillkin+full+glass&_sacat=0
Official Nillkin Page here:
http://www.nillkin.com/english/proshow.asp?mid=2&sid=0&tid=0&cid=1&scid=13&id=5109&page=1
Its been noted there appear to be 2 versions of images on the ebay listings, both saying Nillkin, but the official Nillkin page above shows the image that has the larger cutout by the speaker for the proximity sensor it seems, while the other ebay image shows a cutout separate for the proximity. Perhaps one of the images is from an early test run, and it has been revised to the newer design on their official site?
P.S. I know there is a thread for "tempered glass screen protectors" with posts regarding this protector, but I wanted a place to only discuss this particular product and share images/reviews of it specifically.
Interested as this states its specifically made to deal with the curve on the N6 screen.
20+ days for shipping?! That pretty ridiculous seeing as how people are ordering protectors from the same region and having them shipped halfway across the world in half the time.
when you do receive it please let us know the total shipping time also. Thanks

The other brands are from the same region, but they have them sent to a warehouse in California to allow faster shipping. Mine was shipped on the 20th and I live in Ohio, so we'll see how long it takes to get here (and hopefully it arrives safely from overseas).
Just ordered a couple will post my experience, my replacement N6 hasnt been too kind to tempered glass protectors as just about every single one has had HALO, only one that didnt was the vzw protector but that was very fragile and cracked after a wk.
Just ordered one for my phone! I will post some feedback when it eventually arrives.
Ordered from this person: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nillkin-C...750?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item33a14da66e

Remember that in China they just manufacture the products and after that the only difference is the retail packaging.
I had a Nillkin glass protector on my m8 and it was awesome. Great quality and very thick. Whether or not the N6 one is good or not who knows but they do make a good product.

Ha! Now I see it. That's funny. Too lazy to try and make them look real.
Since I always use a case, not sure if these would play well together. I guess a SP that goes to the curve on the side of the screen but not beyond is better for case users.

I have the Ringke Max case and it doesnt lip inwards towards the screen as much. Its support to allow screen protectors, so I hope this one applies too.
the graphics may me questionable.

Guys, really? Its just a graphic illustration of how theirs is "better". Its not supposed to look real. You'll see similar illustrations on nearly every screen protector site.

I would guess that it is a similar/same size as the deff. I use a diztronic tpu case, which has a lip & the deff fits perfectly inside that lip. So perfect that you can't see the edge of the protector. Sorry for the plug of a different brand, just comparing as I think they would be the same size.
Mines in IL 6 hours ago via tracking. I'm in Ohio. Should have it in 1 to 2 days.
I bought one directly from the store in China, should be here super soon. But I'm holding out on it...cashed out a lot for my InvisibleShield HDX and not risking another glass halo TGSP. Will wait for @ryancell to post

Hi Guys,
I've seen Orzly thrown around in a few threads, mainly for their glass screen protector but also quite heavily in the OnePlus One Forum so thought I'd share a bit about the cases they have on offer. Also looks like they've got the handset and cases judging by their YouTube Channel...
There's this link on their site which pretty much sums up all the cases that they sell...http://orzly.com/nexus-6-key-info
Also here's a link to their YouTube Channel, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC32F5reVmWnjp4UrCZY88Ng/feed
Looks like they have the real handset too as they've done an unboxing.
Going to be tough to decide with all these branded cases around. They all are similar in terms of design but have different price points.
Sorry I didn't know how to upload videos so it is embedded. Anyone who knows how to do that it would be great to have them posted to this thread.
Thanks,
Just ordered a black orzly fusion. Should be here Monday.
G3
Well I ordered this case as well since it was in stock. Turns out this thing is coming from the UK and won't be here until December 8th. :crying:
Got the orzly fusion today and can't say I like the buttons. They're flat and hard to feel.
Can anyone confirm what the cutouts on the backs of these cases are like? The pictures all show a big cutout that goes around the camera and the Moto logo, but the videos show only a cutout for the camera.

Only the camera is cutout. No other lines, circles or dimples on the back.
Got the FlexiCase today, not impressed with the buttons either. They are completely flush with the side of the case which makes no sense, not sure if they will bulge with the phone in the case. Also confirming that there is just the one hole for the camera.
^ Did you leave a review on amazon? Maybe if they get enough bad reviews, they will fix it.
G3
I did not, not a big deal since I end up with so many cases. I'll leave a review though.

LOL bit harsh isn't it
I've just sent them an email directly about the buttons, lets see what they come back with.
I am definitely not bothered about the back cut-out for the logo as to me that is pointless - why would anyone want a portion of their phone scratched especially when I'm guessing most cases which are semi-transparent or fully transparent, show the logo anyway.

Nah, not harsh at all. They show one, sell another and the buttons are horrible.
I've bought the Orzly Fusion Bumper case. And I complained to Amazon last night that the buttons are flat and it's hard to know what you are pressing until you've actually pressed it. Orzly replied with my email and told me that they've already initiated the refund for my payment.

Exact same situation. The case fit great and looked very nice. But the button issue rendered the function of the phone almost useless. They were very kind and issued my refund immediately. Solid customer service! Hopefully they make a revision because I will definitely buy it again.
They refunded my purchase too on the fusion.

I got the some clear invsi case from Orzly. Alas, I don't actually have a nexus 6 yet but the case seems solid.
problem with them is the shipping is more expensive than the actual case!

I just ordered the carbon fiber tonight. It looks like it's a pretty nice case! I'm hoping it won't take weeks like I've been hearing about Orzly shipping to the US. Either way, I'm still waiting on my phone to ship so it probably doesn't matter anyway haha.
I ordered the FlexiSlim black case on Nov 18th and it arrived today. What a gorgeous case.

Hi there! Wow, this thread has really taken off. Sorry for my absence. I've just read through about 15 pages of comments, and there have been quite a few additions, nearly every single one being a disappointment, but the only talked about in a positive light was the amFilm. I'll put that one on the top of the list for now. If there's one that has been talked about heavily, I'll do my best to continue to update here. Again, sorry for my absence, and if anyone finds any other strong ones, please send me a PM. Those actually give me a notification. Thanks!!! Seeing lots of talk about the Zagg protector, also that it broke for someone. Dot matrix is bad on it.
A GOOD OPTION: amFilm (http://www.amazon.com/Protector-Cov...&sr=8-120&keywords=galaxy+s7+screen+protector) 3.3 Stars, has been improved several times. Seems to be a pretty good option.
OLD POST:
The S7’s edges are a little curved, so it will be hard to find a perfect glass screen protector- most of them will give a halo effect, or they will only lay on the flat surface of the screen, leaving the curved edges exposed. I wanted to start a thread where we can post glass screen protectors for the S7 that offer good quality, and good protection. I’ve done a little bit of research that I would like to share with you here:
1) Full Screen Coverage Glass Screen Protectors:
a. Zagg
i. http://www.zagg.com/us/en_us/shop-by-device/galaxy-s7-accessories/
ii. No info on availability
iii. No info on price
iv. Glass seems to be nicely curved to fit the entire phone. Works with S7 & S7 Edge- they have different models for each, it seems. A Thread was posted on XDA saying that a Zagg protector was not very good-- not sure if it's the same product, but here's a link to the thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/accessories/zagg-glass-screen-protector-t3331065 - (Thanks, Macguyver) And according to TheLonePoster, Zagg is giving a halo effect, similar to the experience of a screen protector for the Nexus 6.
b. amFilm (Thanks nest75068, bastage)
i. http://www.amazon.com/Protector-Cov...120&keywords=galaxy+s7+screen+protector+glass
ii. Available March 11th
iii. $8.99
iv. 2.3 stars-- dot matrix, some issues with non-adhering edges, "clicking" when touching the screen. 2.3 isn't a good rating at all, but in comparsion to some of these other companies, it's not a bad one to use until better ones come out.
c. SinHong
i. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CHWTNY2
ii. Available now
iii. $25.99 Free Shipping, but ships from China, so it will take a while to receive.
iv. Still has no reviews.
d. IQShield thanks, TehPirate_
i. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BIH1HOQ
ii. In Stock April 6th
iii. $5.95 + $2.98shipping
iv. Recommended by TehPirate_, as good brand reputation, but as it stands, there is no clear stipulation about whether or not this is full screen coverage. Product is grouped with other products, so we won't be able to tell for a while if this is good or bad. For now, this is on the bottom of the "Good" thread, until otherwise stated. UPDATE: 65% low quality reviews from FakeSpot (http://fakespot.com/product/iq-shie...e-shield-d6c14fa5-59a8-41db-9b68-df6c7cbbe360)
e. Flipacase (UK) Thanks, lunaminica
i. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01CRSD446?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
ii. Available Now
iii. 9.99
iv. No reviews yet, will update when lunaminica updates comment. Looks to be full screen coverage.
f. Coral Thanks, LORD19191
i. https://www.coralguard.com/products...-Ships-April-1st/p/63470736/category=16072118
ii. Available now, ships 3/22
iii. $29.99
iv. From a youtube video, looks pretty good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qL-9u0dnzuk
2) Flat Surface (Partial Coverage) Glass Screen Protectors:
a. iSmooth
i. http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Tempered-Protector-Protects-Scratches/dp/B01ALAR50Q
ii. $14.97/ Prime Shipping
iii. Available 3/26/16
iv. Has good cutouts, but does not cover the complete screen, has Halo effect on the edges. Here is a customer review with an image: www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R24T8GCDIIC5HI
Also, this is grouped with other phones- but this has a plethora of negative recent reviews- might be a good idea to stay away.
b. iCarez
i. http://www.amazon.com/iCarez-Tempered-Protector-Anti-Scratch-Replacement/dp/B01AFW792E
ii. Available March 15th
iii. $9.95
iv. Note: "I have the regular S7 and the icarez tempered. The screen on the 7 has slightly rolled edges and the protector doesn't not adhere to the edges. " - thanks marshrunner757
The images seem to be S6, not S7. Not sure how much the screen protector covers.
Also, this is in a product variation with six other screen protectors, so we are not going to be able to see the real reviews, if they are good or bad.
UPDATE: 1.4 stars. Bad product.
c. CellBee
i. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CDONCXM?psc=1
ii. Available March 15th
iii. $7.99/ Free Shipping
iv. Note: The images seem to be S6, not S7. Cannot determine about the fit, but I can’t guarantee any fit. Still no reviews
d. Bodyguardz
i. http://www.bodyguardz.com/screenguardz-pure-glass-screen-protector-for-samsung-galaxy-s7.html
ii. $39.95 / Free Shipping
iii. Available March 11th
iv. Seems quite pricey for a flat screen protector. Seems like a good product, but I’m doubtful that it justifies its price.
e. Sparin.
i. http://www.amazon.com/Protector-Tempered-Bubble-Free-Hardness-Scratch-resistant/dp/B019MPC6AU
ii. Available March 20th
iii. $9.59/ Free Shipping
iv. Based on the 3rd image, it seems that this one will only lay on the flat surfaces of the phone. Another note- at the moment it has two shilled reviews. "Free in exchange for an unbiased review..."
f. SuperShieldz (thanks TehPirate_, mklpickle)
i. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01A4UJLPU
ii. NOT AVAILABLE
iii. N/A price
iv. "Has halo effect, cut outs aren't great, and worst of all, effects the touch screen sensitivity. Actually have to press down to get notifications to come down from top, and messes with typing fast. Also the menu and back buttons." Edit: several one star reviews-- Avoid this product. 1.3 Stars
g. AERB
i. http://www.amazon.com/Compatible-Pr...1-5&keywords=galaxy+s7+screen+protector+glass
ii. Available 3/26/16
iii. $9.99
iv. Openly admits to not being full screen-- reviews verify not full coverage. EDIT: A lot of poor reviews
h. Trianium (Thanks, seoulbrova)
i. http://www.amazon.com/Trianium-Prot...66&sr=8-1&keywords=Trianium+Tempered+Glass+s7
ii. Currently Unavailable
iii. NA on Price.
iv. http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/accessories/buy-screen-protector-amazon-t3330080 says it all. Avoid this protector-- clearly not the correct fit.
I. Tech Armor (Thanks, a.gu)
i. http://www.amazon.com/Tech-Armor-Sa...&qid=1457382650&sr=8-1&keywords=tech+armor+S7
ii. Available now
iii. $7.95
iv. Reviews are pretty bad. This is another one to be avoided. 1.5 stars
j. Skinomi Matte Thanks mrnamster, C0derbear.
i. http://www.amazon.com/Skinomi®-Matt...d=1457635059&sr=8-1&keywords=skinomi+matte+s7
ii. Available March 13th
iii. $9.95
iv. Reviews are 3.0, but we have two fellow forum members that are satisfied with it, "Just put on my skinomi matte. Perfect edge to edge fit. Not digging the rainbow effect though.", and, "Second the Skinomi Matte, fits nicely. The Edge display looks a bit different under it, like the skin itself is lighting up not like it's a layer on top of the display. Previously used a tempered glass on my GS5 so this is a big difference. Touch feel of the skin is good. Had to remember how to put on a protector cleanly though, took a couple tries to get it done (but I had budgeted one 'practice' protector to burn). Haven't noticed a rainbow effect though." Fakespot claims 81.3% low quality reviews http://fakespot.com/product/skinomi...int-anti-bubble-lifetime-replacement-warranty
k. Spigen Film thanks, JayX2A, Artius89
i. http://www.amazon.com/Galaxy-Protec...-1&keywords=galaxy+s7+spigen+screen+protector
ii. NOT AVAILABLE
iii. N/A Price
iv. From our forum mates, we are able to verify that this one is not sticking to the sides. "Same here with spigen, they don't stick at sides." and "Thats a bit of bad news. I would have expected better from Spigen." Another one to avoid.
It looks like it is hard to find full coverage glass screen protector at this moment. If you find any good glass screen protectors, please reply to the thread, and I’ll add it to the post as frequently as I can.

Thank you to the three of you. I've added all of your input to the OP. Cheers!
Just wanted to add. I have tried numerous tempered glass protectors for my note 5. I could not find one that did not give a halo effect. I gave up trying, frankly did not need the extra protection of the tempered glass. What I did however was buy a crystal spigen screen protector and cut the edges. It worked well, the only down fall is that it does not cover the whole screen.
The Tech Armor one is pretty bad.
http://www.amazon.com/Tech-Armor-Sa...&qid=1457382650&sr=8-1&keywords=tech+armor+S7
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Spigen. I have used their screen protectors on a few phones and have never been disappointed. This one says "full coverage from edge to edge." http://www.spigen.com/collections/g...alaxy-s7-edge-screen-protector-curved-crystal
I did they are not tempered though

Thanks, I've updated the post.
I'm waiting for the pure gear one. Worked perfectly on my s6 and my mom's note 5 although it's pricey. If you want to try cheaper ones I suggest glass protectors that are less than 0.3mm the thinner ones seem to have a easier time sticking to the borders.

I'm not seeing a Pure Gear screen protector on amazon-- do you have a link to the product?
And about the .3mm or less- are you sure it's the thickness of the phone that causing the sticking? I thought that would a matter of the amount of adhesive.

I've only seen pure gear sold at tmobile or direct from them at pure-gear.com. Only thing is they're not showing a glass protector for the s7 yet. Hoping it's coming soon.
From my experience of having the g2, s6, and the note 5 and trying and returning 100 cheap glass protectors. It's a combination of how strong the adhesive is and how well the glass flexes over the curve. I tried the Zagg glass for my s6 think it's 0.33 and ya it looked perfect with no halo but the glue was so strong I think it was lifting the glass off of the digitizer. The left edge of the screen was only registering input half the time. I ended up going to tmobile and asked them which one to get and the guy suggested the pure gear one. The glass comes with a jig so it goes on the right spot on the phone but even that can be screwed up. If they do end up having a pure gear glass protector at tmobile I suggest you get them to put it on for you and to keep doing it till you're happy with it.
FWIW I have the regular S7 and the icarez tempered. The screen on the 7 has slightly rolled edges and the protector doesn't not adhere to the edges.

a bit of googling reveal merchant via Alibaba, prices seem really cheap though..10 units for $5.99. Too good to be true?

The price is for a single unit I think. It says minimum order for 10 pieces.

Ah OK, that makes more sense, of course, a single individual won't need 10 of those.
This guy did a pretty good review on that screen protector last week. If it weren't for that "bubble" it would have been a better alternative to WhiteDome.

it seems like companies are getting closer on figuring out a good TGSP for edge phones
Edit - was reading the comments on that first vid and then saw this

Nice anyone able to get this screen?
Hello everyone,
I wasn't expecting to be writing this so soon if I'm honest. Expected a few more days before I got rang by my wife whilst and work and asked what I'd ordered this time.
So the Orzly Pro-Fit Tempered Glass landed in my hands today (as well as their 5 pack film set, but I'll get to that later) and since we're having issues with the Official OnePlus TGSP it made sense to remove that and get straight into this protector and find out whether it's worth you lot purchasing.
A quick disclaimer I'm writing this after applying the glass and using it for a few hours. I will keep you updated in the comments below over the next week on how it holds up.
So, how does this differ to the Official 3D screen?
- Unlike the official 3D screen, Orzly have opted for adhesive on the sides and the top but not in the middle. This was an issue with their V1 screen last year as the Dot Matrix and Oil slicks were an absolute nightmare, less so with V2. After spending a few hours with this one, I can already tell they've made some significant improvements. It feels more premium than the OP3 screen did, I can't see the dot matrix under my house lighting at all and no oil slicks.
- They have incorporated cut outs for the front facing camera and sensors. The official one just has clear glass over them.
My verdict: Buy this one.
I haven't tested many yet (infact just the official and this) but if the choice is between the two like it was last year, this one wins for me. It doesn't cut into your screen and it seems like it'll work with most cases as the fitting of it is very good.
It's also a TON cheaper than the official one and its a twin pack.
Where can I buy?
As far as I'm aware they sell on the various local Amazon sites. Two of the big ones I use are Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk
Take a look at my video here if you want to see it in more detail:

No worries
Great video as usual! Thanks for sharing this! Glad I didn't pay the £18 for the official one after all the bad reports on it, waiting for my orzly one to come now!
I hope I will be able to fit it in this case
Silicone TPU bumper case
@niijonodhg you just saved me $30, thanks! I subscribed to your channel, too
Thanks for this, just confirmed what I was hoping. Another quailty product from Orzly. I still can't fathom why OnePlus made such a terrible screen protector and charged people more for it.

Thanks!!! I'll give it a try.
I bought a clear one off amazon before this one was available. It should be here by Friday. If it fits and looks as good as yours, i'll provide a link. If not, I'll buy this one. Thank you for the review!

Be sure to let people know when you try it,. According to what the actual manufacturers are saying about them though, they have written the following...
PLEASE NOTE: The Pro-Fit Glass Screen Protector is designed to work with Orzly Cases for the Oneplus 5. We cannot however guarantee its compatibility with OnePlus 5 cases from other manufacturers
This doesn't mean that it won't fit another case, but it does mean it's risky. So probably a good idea is if anyone on here tries different cases with this screen protector that we let as many people know on here which ones fit with it versus which ones didn't, as that may be our only way to truly guage this. The Orzly screen protector definitely seems like the only tempered glass screen protector that works well with the phone, so whatever I do I'm going to need to base my case around what works with that, so the more info I could get on this, the better. (I'll probably just get one of orzly 's cases anyway at first just to be sure, but would be nice to know what all the options are for later on (if there are any)

I'm planning on making another video, just as soon as a bunch of cases arrive! But if someone else can get to it sooner, then please do!
Thanks a lot for the video. Nice to hear it doesn't cut into the sides of the screen like others. What's your opinion on how deep the fingerprint scanner feels in the cutout?
Seems that Orzly is shipping them from the UK... found a similar one that ships from the united states - https://www.amazon.com/s?keywords=Oneplus+5+Screen+Protector&hidden-keywords=B07378RSWD. I've used amfilm a lot before- never any issues at all.

I've not really noticed it, the cut out is slightly wider than the the fingerprint sensor so leaves a good gap around it.

I had a small issue with the amFilm TGSP for the Nintendo Switch not staying on the Switch properly under heat. But other than that it was reasonably OK.

I've heard that that is from the dock. My son has the Switch and we had that issue. They sent a free replacement that worked for him. Might be worth sending an email.
So Orzly is better because it dont cut the screen like OP official tgsp?
For me i think Oneplus own is better because adhesive on entire visible part, even when it comes about 0.3mm top of sides. I have used Orzly products many years. V2 for OP3T was disappoined mostly thanks to glue on borders only. Screen wont look that clear as with tgsp with full adhesive or without tgsp at all. Also oil slick can come because adhesives only on sides. It depends how greatly you clean your screen.

Just wondering if anyone has found a good screen protector. I got one off Amazon. Glass temp. But the top doesn't seem to stick as well as it should. I have to press down hard in order to get notifications tab down. Anyone have a good one worth getting??

I don't think you ever will. I've spent today looking at all of the different ones offered on Amazon. Almost all fail fakespot. Most seem to be just rebranded cheap junk from China with fake unverified purchase reviews (and most with the same number of reviews and same pics no less). The rest just seem to be filled with mixed reviews, with most negatives already reflected here on XDA.
If the "official" one from OnePlus isn't very good, I doubt we will find anything better at this point. The case and glass company late comers are finally getting their releases out and I haven't seen any glowing reviews yet.
On a side note, why the heck do they put black borders on these? Bad enough they have to shorten the width because of curved screen, now you have these borders that can actually block content.

Ye I gave up on glass. So I just ordered the Spigen screen protector which should arrive tomorrow some time. I'll report back on installation and how it goes.
