Because I can't find my receiver nor my TV on all Remote apps, nevertheless, Smart IR remote has an option for adding a custom command by entering the IR Code , thus I'm planning to do it manually.

The app "Peel smart remote" has both of your devices in it. Have you tried that particular app? And there is a way to "teach the app" your remote but not AFAIK the actual code.

Samsung app after slim bean install??

Hey all. I was just wondering if its possible to still be able to download and use Samsung apps such as Samsung Link, watch on, etc. I love love the Slim Bean ROM but I also really enjoyed the WatchOn app. I have the APKs, but it just says "app not installed" every time I try to install it. When I try to download something Samsung related from the Play store, it says that my device isn't compatible with that version. Can anyone help me out with this or at least tell me of another way that I can utilize the IR on my phone. Thank you.

That doesn't utilize the IR. My TV isn't a smart TV. Do you know of anything that uses the IR on the s4?

IR currently does not work on AOSP ROMs, and more than likely wont any time soon. The code for IR is proprietary and wont be released. It will take someone to reverse engineer code to get this up and running.
@ OP nice choice of ROM

The tablet has a learning feature but you need the remote....
Your best chance would be a UNI remote that can accept codes. Then you could use that to program the Tablet...
Would be somewhat redundant though

[Q] Fingerprint not working with websites

I can't get the Samsung browser to prompt me to use a fingerprint as an alternative to just storing a website's password. Has anyone been able to get this function to work? I'm using an AT&T unit. Thanks.

Not sure this is even a baked in function. I use Last Pass Pro and it works this way. There's a free trial in the Galaxy app store.

did you enable it on fingerprint settings?
i tried on my phone and some sites work (phonearena). when you sign in a phone there should be a popup asking if you want to enable fingerprint unlock. if not, the site does not support it.

Yes, the fingerprint is definitely enabled on my phone. I guess I'm not using the right websites. It's a weak function if it requires specific website support. Thanks.
It doesn't work with every website, try some other sites.

[GUIDE] Huawei MultiScreen and Huawei Share All Notebook or Desktop

I translated this manual to make Huawei MultiScreen and Huawei Share work on any notebook or Desktop. I hope it works for everyone.

Tried it, works really well ! It's awesome for sending images and files over your PC easily, and copy / paste text. I was also impressed by the latency of the screen mirroring, pretty good.
Thanks a lot !

Ouch, now i get it.
You need to get yourself an Bluetooth USB dongle, but i think it will not work because you need to get and an NFC card reader, too
If you buy those 2 items, you'll get yourself NFC+Bluetooth on your DESKTOP PC

Maybe i would buy those if it is worth it.
How do you like the Manager, is it usefull? Im mostly interested in moving files and replying to Messages/Whatsapp via PC instead of using phone.

I'm not using it, just did the test to see if it works (and it works on me, because i have Bluetooth& NFC card reader on my laptop, near palm rest, left side of laptop) and how it works.
I'm using Huawei Share to send/recieve files over WiFi (from my laptop to my phone and viceversa) and WhatApp Web, if need it. But i guess it's helpfull for users who send a lot of RCS/SMS over Messages app or need to fast transfer files between devices.
So maybe someone else who use it might get you a better opinion :silly:

Sry, m8, but i don't own an Huawei Matebook. I have as my own device a Surface laptop and my wife has my ''old'' Dell Latitude E7440 (Intel Core i7-4600U, Haswell) device with NFC enabled. That's the one where i've made my tests using the guide from this thread...
Maybe somebody else @here can give some tips :highfive:
