Hello!
Device:
Moto G 2nd Gen XT1068
OS:
Lollipop 5.0.2 retaildsdsall reteu
To the point...
My vehicle recently connected perfectly to SE Xperia Mini Pro (wifi tethering). Apparently it had 2.3.3 gingerbread firmware. Till now it has been like 5 years and phones have improved. For some reason my car's navigation MZD Connect doesn't get it and communication with a local dealer ended with: "It is not possible in Finland", which is certainly bullcrap.
My Moto G is rooted, so is there any way to change wifi tethering configuration files to make Moto G Lollipop act like GB.
Looking forward to replies...
Best regards,
Mario
Any thoughts?
The development of MZD Connect is so slow and apparently they do not even have a bug tracker. I don't think they will fix it this year or next. I wish I could do something myself to improve my situation.
Hi
I look around but I dind´t find any answer for this.
I have a work phone and a personal phone (Huaewei Y550 and Moto X 2014) I sync my car stereo and my lg watch R with the moto X but I want to link them to my work phone too as my stereo is a really basic one I am thinking that I should link the huawei to the moto x like a second sim or something like that so I can use this phone in my bluetooth devices with the moto x.
I don't know if I am being clear....
Thanks in advance
HI all,
Not sure if this question has been asked previously or not, but can anyone tell what all sensors are present in Moto 360 2nd gen.
I am looking to buy a smart watch.
Kind Regards,
HRD.
Post to discuss the possibility of the first gen moto E getting or receiving Android 7.
Doubtful.
Hardware constraints mean the little moto e is unlikely to see a fully functioning port, but I am no expert and can only relay or repeat what I read and hear.
I follow the 1st and 2nd gen moto e threads here on XDA and own both a first gen and second gen moto e, both running CM13.
The second gen community are saying the otus and surnia (3g and 4lte) moto e 2015 are unlikely to see an official or unofficial port of android N.
Where does this leave the Condor?
What are your views?
Maybe one of our esteemed rom developers may give his or her thoughts?
Discuss.
Hello, anyone knows when it will appear cm14 ???
Thats a bit "off topic" for this thread.
CM14 will not appear until after Android N is official, and N won't be official until probably September (just a guess)
But
And its a big but.....
Will the first gen moto e get cm14???
I very much doubt it, because there is even doubt the second gen moto e will get it, if the hardware of the second gen can't handle N, there's no hope for the first gen, to be honest.
Who knows? I'm not an expert, and someone else will probably reply I'm very wrong.
This thread is Not really the place to discuss that or ask that question.
Please start a new thread.

Another post from the CM13 thread
I'm not sure about this... but the only lack in this rom is Doze mode, right? I mean condor doesn't have proximity sensor
Android Nougat is so different compared with Marshmallow? They look very similar
All Android version are very similar. i don't find major changes between KitKat or Lollipop and Marshmallow
I don't know... maybe there will not be a official CM release but maybe we can expect a unofficial one?

I'm not a expert in this kind of things but the new features in Nougat are not so incredible and doesn't seems so far away with Marshmallow.
6.0 runs fine in a old condor. Almost like stock KitKat
i don't get why Nougat will be a imposible thing in this device.
Again, im not a expert and im only thinking about the features and not about technical things.
I have hope.
Good initiative making this thread
Sorry for my bad english.

Yes, my only concern is some are saying that the second gen moto e won't get it (official) but it wouldn't be impossible to port a partially working port to it (CM14 unofficial)
No mention yet for our 1st gen moto e, hence this thread and the fact some are asking this question in other ROM development threads (such as CM13) where it shouldn't really be discussed.
Biggest issue I see is the multi window display, our condors won't run that (so I'm lead to believe)
Again like most, I'm no expert and would prefer someone with knowledge and experience to answer this question, I've stuck with my condor since KitKat, now its relegated to my work phone, its running 6.0.1 via CM13 almost flawlessly with only minor glitches and bugs, I have a second gen moto e 2015 4lte (surnia) that is now my daily driver.
Hence my interest in both generations of moto e.

I feel like we are getting Android N.As long as our moto E supports size of ROM we will be getting updates.
I think both condor and e2 will get a port of 7.0.There are no incredible new features/new heavy UI that condor can't handle.
Also we will probably have to wait a bit to see it fully functional, but it's a normal thing on new OS releases.

While I agree with you, seems the new notification system and the multiple window feature will cause our device problems, but I can only repeat what I'm seeing in other threads, I repeat I'm no expert on this.

They will get disabled just like doze.
Android is open source so of course u will get Android N.
Feel free to tap on thanks.
Can someone make this happen? Really want to keep this watch alive
The moto 360 v2 has the same chipset as other watches being updated, which is quite a list.
Lenovo has no excuses this time.

It seem that there are mostly the watch with the new Wear processor wich are updated (Snapdragon 2100) and not the old Snapdragon 400 no ?
