I like it because it combines all of your social networking in one place

ok, that sounds cool until now , , me and my friend we all have the same device (galaxy note 2 n7100)
and the same rom (slimkat 4.4.4) ----- but the blinkfeed work with my friend and didn't work with me !!!!
SO I flashed another rom (hazy rom lollipop) because i was crazy about the "blinkfeed" ,, then the blinkfeed work ,,
and i change the rom again because i didnt like the last one but the problem come back again on my new rom (paranoid android 4.4.4)
pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeas forgive my English
and help me in the problem because i will change roms until i found the rom that will make the blinkfeed work :crying:

Well , Some Time Ago , I bought my Gtab 10.1 , and continuously i install and delete some apps , but in the last weeks , my tab is very laged , im gettin' boried , i use ADW Ex because Touchwiz Sucks ,I want to install a new ROM in my tab
Any recomendations . Actually i want a rom with honeycomb UI

Task 14 has one issue though: it's still touchwiz UI, not honeycomb.
If you want to have a vanilla honeycomb experience, you need to flash a ROM with Android 3.1 (a quick search resulted in this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1335575&highlight=3+1 but note that I have not tried this ROM myself).
If you really want a Stock Android, you could also go with one of the ICS ROMs that are available, such as CM9 or AOKP. These ROMs do not have a working camera, though. So if you need your camera (FFC or RFC), you'll have to stick with honeycomb for the time being.
AOKP all the way dude, the camera on these things suck anyway.
Hello everyone, I have a Pantech Burst 9070 with Ice Cream 4 am root and I have installed the clockwork recovery, and I made a backup with ROM Manager.
Now I need to get a set JellyBeans ROM on my cell. If anyone knows of any ROM stable and reliable, please share the link to download and install.
Also I have two questions:
1. If I install JB, I will miss the release of the sim?
2. If you do not like JB, I can go back to the recovery of IC I made with ROM Manager?

Hey guys i have managed to make a rom of android 4.2 for the pantech burst but its not fully android 4.2 jellybean read full description carefully..
100% Tested and working.
Improvements:
Increased Battery Life.
Zoomable Screen.
3d Menu.
4.2 camera (Photosphere not working yet)
Working:
wifi,bluetooth,and all the system apps are working vey well.
Not working:
Photosphere, Android 4.2 Lockscreen And google Now.
These things will be fixed when i will give the next updated!!

PLEASE READ CAEFULLY:
extract and copy all the files to your phones sd card.
go to cwm recovery and choose backup and restore
choose restore
select this file
flash then reboot its done.

i am not a developer but i like doing these things as a passion. recently my brother had came for a stay to our house and he had brought this one of the best devices.
he had came just for 6 days and in 6 days we had rooted this phone and installed android 4.0 and were even able to make android 4.2 or this phone.this rom isnt fully android 4.2 jellybean you can say that it is mixed functions of kagedmod and android 4.2 jellybean but its still jellybean.
the photosphere is not working soon i will post an update with the photosphere working and as he was only for 6 days i was not able to make the android 4.2 lockscreen so the default lockscreens are present but still i was able to make a home screen like nexus 4 (Fully Zoomable) and 3d. i have made a lockscreen which has similar features as the lockscreen of android 4.2 but its not exactly as same as android 4.2 this is a different 3d version maybe you people like this.
I am currently 14 years old i love making these these things for android as a passion so i do but still i cant do this perfectly as i myself do not have a phone and use my relatives phone who agree and want to root ie install custom roms in their phones.
I too want to have a high end phone like you guys but my father is not able to buy me one but it would be greatful if i can recieve some donations. kindly donate if you like this rom.i always had a dream of buying a high end smartphone but my father cant buy me one. i have install 4.1 cyanogen but when recive calls it has error like : unfortunaty the proccess.phone.com has stop working & i lost calls. my network lost for 5-6 min then i can get phone call log. i try to restore 4.2 update but it shows only md5 error. pls help me

I am sorry if there is already a thread like this , but I couldn't find it.Actually I found some similar posts (4.2 keyboard) but after I flashed their "zips" nothing heppened.I installed Vegeta's mod , maybe that is why it is not working , cus I changed System UI.I am not sure if that means anything cus I am new in "rooting" but I will appreciate somebody's help.
So , I am asking for stock JB 4.2 keyboard (like Nexus 4 has) to install on Galaxy S3 with Omega Rom 43.1 . Thanks in advance.

Hello to everyone in the section of this wonderful device, today wandering around on various forums i have seen many roma in KitKat style for the various device (even those much older than that) and i had an idea for cooperve, which is to create a custom rom in full KitKat 4.4.2 style (with easter eggs, boot animation, etc...) but unfortunately i had to give away the ace-i, as i took the note N7000.
For those wishing to help me in the development of this rom will be offered as a tester. Anyone interested can contact me quietly in PM or on the forum. GG2SD.

+1 to Envy-X also we rather want to see stable and smooth CM9 than modded gingerbread / CM7 with kitkat UI...

There are some ROMs with KitKat theme but anyway. The tags on the title of this thread which should be moved on general, are misunderstood by first as it looks like you are requesting a 4.4.2 ROM and not a themed 2.3.6 as 4.4.2. Anyway good luck on your ROM.

Well, this should be in general section... :/ and There are many roms with KK theme... :/
N00b recently obtained a S3, rooted it with Kingo root & need some advice. on how to proceed next...
First of all i would like to point out that i have read several threads here in Q&A and in DEV and i must say the amount of ROMS and possibilities are quite overwhelming. That's why i am posting this Q...
Second: i don't want to switch ROM's all the time, i just want to install one good working, stable & fast ROM without the hassle of adding extra's, removing bloatware, try different kernels/bugfixes etc... It just needs to work.
Also i like to have: a dark layout for the Phone (saves energy and looks much better to me)
As little bloatware as possible , i just want it to be working fast & stable/flawless (i will install the stuff i really need myself via google playstore if possible)
Some Questions
- On my HTC Sensation XE i have 4EXT (with Viper 521 ROM), would this recovery work for the S3 or should i use someting else and why ?
- Which superuser/SU/else should work best with the S3 ?
- Should i use a 5.1.1 or 4.4.4-based ROM ? I have seen various threads and video-comparisons but none of them could convince me (besides the fact that lollipop is too bright & child-looking for my taste)
- Is there a stable & fully operational version of stock Android 4.4.4 or 5.1.1 for the S3 ? And if not which ROM comes closest ?
I would gratfeully receive any advice which ROM i should pick based on your personal experience(s)

Slimkat 4.4.4 is recommended. Light, fast, no bloat and it has the dark mode you are looking for
Lollipop is no good for the s3 but if you are feeling adventourous you can try out either slimLP or dokdo project.

I was reading & watching (YouTube) some reviews about Archidroid & CM12 & they seem to be quite popular.
Any thoughts ?
