It is impossible/veryveryvedyveryvery difficult. It would break wifi and RIL.

rom s6 5.0.2 ported and working for galaxy s4 i9505 in 5.0.1 lollipop (named Albe95 s6 port).. but this not . thanks

4.1.X ok with 4.1.X (eg 4.1.1 to 4.1.2)

As far as I'm concerned your phone will not get a official update.
I need to update to android 5.1.1 on my z2 D6503 LTE
I'm currently on android lollipop 5.0.2 w/root+custom recovery(installed via XZRecover app)
IS there a file that i can flash inside custom recovery which updates my phone to android 5.1.1 with root and without loosing any files/photos/apps

On my Sprint G3 I had lollipop and had to revert back to KitKat to get it rooted. My question is.. what roms and google can I install safely ? My understanding is the rom has to work with what version you currently have ? I don't hardly see any roms for Sprint KitKat ? thanks for any help !

he was asking how to downgrade from MM to Kitkat, not from MM to Lollipop as all the thread say. I'd also like to know if its possible from MM to KK without going to LP
