Dont worry..i will help you buddy...first tell me which game..
Every game requires their data in a specific folder inside android/data or android/obb
Even some gameloft games need their data to be inside gameloft/games...with root if u r using xposed .get xinternalsd..or else download foldermount .it is used to link the folders..meaning as u know the games will access the internal to get their data and what this app do is that it directs the game to access another specific folder inside sd card.u just need to create a blank folder of the specific name the game requires and place it where it should be placed(i will help u in this if u r confused where to place) so that the game finds it and u need to link that to the data folder inside sd card so that when the game access it and thinks"Ohh! I found the data folder!lets enter into it" then it gets inside the sd card and access the data and the game start (thats a funny explanation )
If u can tell me the game u r trying i will tell u where to place the folder and what should be the name of that folder (incase its not mentioned any where)

hello
i have XPERIA SOLA and i need to know how to solve this problem :
every application i install is go automatically to " internal card " not to storage card .. is there any way to can install any GAME & APPS to storage card always ? because the internal storage have small size and will empty soon ! i need to make storage card (external ) have the main folder and apps to leave internal card empty ...help me please
another question please : every time i install APP from (MARKET ANDROID ) that app can download one time because it isn't store on any folder on phone .. i open (download ) folder and i can't find any apps !!
is there any way to make apps save to phone when i download to use it again or send it to other phone if i want ??
please help me with two question
Firstly.... all installed apps .. will always go to internal memory.. you have to move them to SD card by partitioning it and using link2sd..
You need to use an app called explorer to see ur apps on system or data

Downloaded apps from Google Play will not be in the download folder. They are installed when downloaded. If you download an apk or other type file from a file sharing or other network it will be in the download folder.
Your game data can be found in system/android/app/data.
if u want to totally moved al of your app.
u must root ur solo first..
and u can use app like link2sd or app2sd
the problem is that phone consider the internal card is ( SDCARD ) !!
i install LINK2SD but didn't help because it move apps to internal card again consider it as (SDCARD )
i hope you understand me
what your opnion ?
if someone can send the the vold.fstab file to me i will look at fixing this to copy voldstab you need root and its in the system/etc folder

Hi there,i'm new with android stuff and i need someone who can explain me how can i put .obb files in DEVICE MEMORY.
Some of the games for example have that extension .obb,i understand that needs to be placed in internal memory \Android\Data\Obb and then install that .apk file.
My problem?! i cant acces DEVICE MEMORY(2Gb) , i only can on INTERNAL MEMORY(16Gb).
Sony xperia P (LT22i)
Build number 6.2.A.1.100
I have rooted my phone and updated to 4.1.2
I use AP file Manager Pro.
If someone can explain me step by step i will be much grateful.

But you answered your question yourself, you need to put the .OBB file in android\data\obb folder of your phone memory, and best use a computer to do this, or ES files explorer

that's strange, here try this, download dead trigger 2 and look where it's installed, then you'll see where you have to copy game files

i tried to instal Asphalt 8.
The installed files are in root\mnt\asec\
I cannot copy .obb file from my pc to that directory,he gave me an error like i dont have permision(i have rooted my phone)
I tried to copy with file manager from sd card to that directory and said that is already one file with that name already...:crying:
Obb files are placed in Android/obb in internal memory (or sdcard if your phone has one).
Buy the game. read xda rules about pirate copies of apps/games

ASEC containers are partition images anyway, if you have the actual app already installed move it back to /data using Link2SD then it will have files in the standard locations (/data/app, /data/data, /sdcard/Android)... but then OBB always goes to media partition IIRC

I haven't tried asphalt, but if the app was dl'd through play store, shouldn't the obb file be already in the correct location? (sdcard/Android/(file folder)/.obb file)? Now I understand op is trying to move files from PC to phone. Even if he moved the apk to /data/app or install it the location of the .obb file will not change. Regardless of the apk being installed or not, unless he downloads it through the app, which is not the case. He needs to copy it in the correct location.

Lol. I apologize. I must have misunderstood your post.
I got a fix...! U can install OBB directly from PC into sdcard..! ***WORKING 100%***
You need a rooted phone with FolderMount installed in it : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.devasque.fmount
First copy the APK in phone and install it..... Don't run the game now..... Then later copy the name of the obb folder like.. : for asphalt 8 it is : com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftA8HM
copy the name title of folder...
go to phone memory's Android/obb folder and create a folder of the same name...
you now have a folder in phone memory's OBB as com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftA8HM
Dont copy your data yet...
Go to foldermount and click the ""+"" icon over and insert some name for the pair... Then go in source directory and just select the "android/obb/com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftA8HM" directory..
when the next dialog appears click YES..!
DO NOT MOUNT THE FOLDER YET....
Now copy the data file into the folder.... after finishing the copying... Mount the folder and run the game :good::good::good: You did it....
CAREFUL: DO NOT INSTALL GaME AFTER COPYING THE DATA coz the game installer erases the data..!
Please press thanks as this method works... If you need any assistance then I will be uploading a video shortly..!
PRESS THANKS

hi,
i have just apk download from google play store,
its simply install and works , my device is non-routed , for learning purpose i need DATA folder or / OBB file
after installation i went to sd card > android > data , i found apk name folder ... com.xxxxx.xxx
inside the folder just one more folder cache , that folder is empty
what i am missing here ? is there any other way to get DATA folder ??
help appreciated , thank in advance
thanks
Obb is not included in the apk inside.
NO , its not , that why how can i get it ?
is it mandatory that every apk automatically generate /create OBB file and/OR data folder after installation ?
even if could get DATA folder ..my purpose will be served !!
is there anyway ?
thanks
Not necessarily, not all apks create obb files, and data would be created when you open the app itself
And maybe not, some apps create the data folder and leave it empty and only store data in system\data
Thanks,
so it means if APK doesn't create means there is no way to get it !!
in that case , is there anyway to make GPK from APK ?
