So easy bro.
1-Download KingRoot from this link: http://www.kingroot.net/wap/download
2- Install it on your phone.
3- Open it and wait until it check for the root installed or not, if it isn't installed then click on the Root icon in the middle and your phone will be fully rooted successfully.
Note: your phone maybe reboot normally during the rooting progress or after it, no problem in it ok

Everything you have asked and more is in this section already. Read ALL of this at least twice before asking any more questions that have already been asked a zillion times before.

Xposed on xperia z2 5.1.1

Hi,
i can't get xposed to work on my xperia Z2 5.1.1, can anyone help? I flash the zip file (arm, not arm64) and install the xposed installer. When I open the installer and go to framework, I get two error messages: "xposed not compatible with android sdk version 22 or your processorsomething (armeabi-v7a)" And the other is: "Cannot link executable dependencies: library "lidvm.so" not found".
Any suggestions?
Try installing xposed 3 alpha 4 it worked for me .

If you are on 5.0.2, flash "xposed-v70-sdk21-arm.zip". If you are on 5.1.1, you have to flash "xposed-v70-sdk22-arm.zip" located in this thread:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3072979

But am still running my Z2 on 4.4.2 .. Lol!
Oh, then I think it is really simple! Just download the xposed installer, go to framework and click "install framework" or something like that. You don't have to flash any zips.

You take the backup on in case that something goes wrong.
Aslo you don't need to wipe your data, just install the zip files from recovery nothing else.

Seems like you are a newbie, no problem man, ok so rr is resurrection remix. This is like the og of all roms. So install resurrection remix rom. Then when you are on it. You need to install xposed. Xposed is like this app with which you can customise your phone and modify your phone without actually changing a rom or anything. These modifications come with modules which are small apps, which work with xposed.
You can search on google and find a zip to install xposed.

Theres already a guide on it.

Check them out. Basically fastboot method cleans up your phone, and installs a fresh os. So try giving it a shot.

Do you have root?
If you do, make sure to have adb installed systemwide, bootloader unlocked for obivious reasons and usb debugging enabled. Fire up adb in a terminal or command prompt in the folder you wish to dump to and start here. Type:
adb devices
su (after typing this grant su permission on phone)
adb pull /system
adb pull /boot
then, if possible
adb pull /
The last one may not work. Regardless, if one of you can link me to the firmware your j7 came with stock and you are still on that build link it here and I'll download the firmware and get started on a rom for you. What carriers are currently using the J7?

Any android pie custom rom available for Samsung Galaxy J7 Max?
---------- Post added at 06:43 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:38 AM ----------
Any Android Pie custom rom for J7Max available? Google search did not show any.
@Sands207 @ashyx @rumorbox32 @TheMadScientist At present, I have android version 8.1 (Oreo) installed (by software update) in my J7 Max. Recently the warranty has expired so I wish to root but wish to retain the same OS 8.1. What is the procedure for that? Odin software usage may damage/fault the existing rom, if I am not wrong. I just want to root and use the Root facility. What is the procedure for that? google search did not help in this regard. Thanks for any replies.
(I followed the procedure correctly (Odin, Twrp, Magisk, No-verity etc.) but phone didn't boot stuck to Samsung logo, tried 5-6 times, finally restored back (from begining Twrp - Backup) but lost all the data.)

@Sands207 thanks for the prompt reply. Its working but completely lost the data. Present version Oreo 8.1.0. I think same as before the root procedure.

@Sands207 @ashyx@rumorbox32 @TheMadScientist
Presently no root access. I know the usage of adb.
Only to get the root access, used Odin, Twrp, Magisk, No-verity etc. on my Oreo 8.1.0. But because of bootloop (Samsung logo only) had to restore from the Backup and lost the whole data. Now its like a brand new fresh phone (Oreo 8.1.0 again) and no root. I shouldn't have tried the Odin, Twrp. Magisk, No-verity etc. Very disappointing.
