You can use any file manager to delete unwanted files. Just goto /data/media (It's where internal storage store files) folder and delete them.
I prefer ES file manager because it has disk analyst feature. You can see what take up your storage space.

That folder is where your internal sdcard data store. If you want to delete all user/app data you can wipe user data/factory reset in recovery. I think you only want to delete unused files.

Android treat that folder as user sdcard so full wipe and factory reset don't delete any files in that folder. You must manually delete files in that location.
Hi all,
I have come to a conclusion that I need more suggestions than most posted threads that have similar issues. I am past the basic tests, but I am sure there are more options.
The issue: I cannot install any new APK's either from Google Play or even via ADB. I am getting the common "Insufficient storage available" error. I assume all installed files land in /data/app first which is on the internal storage. So I have attached some screenshots below that prove that everything should be working fine given there is a lot of free space left.
Also, other things I have done are:
- Wipe dalvik cache and /cache
- Fix Root permissions
- copy /system/xbin/busybox to /system/bin (cannot update busybox since I cannot install or overwrite due to this error)
- Check both /storage/sdcard0 and /storage/sdcard1 have enough space.
1- you should ask the moderator to move it to S3 Q&A
2- I've also encountered this kind of issue in the past. If you are using Philz recovery:
backup all files on sd + nandroid backup to sd1, do 'wipe to install a new rom', mount&storage->format system, format data and sdcard (it will delete your previous rom and all files on internal sd, so don't forget to copy a new one to your external sd, and be careful not to format sdcard1)
Now you can restore your nandroid backup (don't forget to copy backed-up files to sd afterwards) or to install a freash one

Try an app called Diskusage ... maybe it helps.

Hard to install any new APK's / apps since I get this message every single time.
Nothing worse than someone saying why don't you try... app; don't think they understand your dilemma. Can you install an. Apk from phone or ext men?
Can you install things if you remove your ext sd?
Hi,
I have a problem with Titanium Backup who doesn't detect/load my backups.
I've used it on my 5.1.1 Z2 with kingroot with no problems. After downgraded >rooted> installed recovery and flashed new roms it installed, gain root acces but didn't detect my backups wich are located in TiBu folder.
I've flashed stock 5.1.1 rom again and rooted with kingroot and problem persists.
Any ideea?
Thanks!
Try setting up your backup folder location manually, go to titanium backup menu/settings --> preferences --> backup folder location
If your backups are on internal memory the default storage provider - filesystem storage should work fine but if your backups are on the external sd card you should change the storage provider to documentprovider storage, choose the root of your external sd in the windows that opens, then choose the correct backup folder in titanium.
As long as your backups are not corrupt this should fix your problem.
Hi, i did try to set the backup location folder and i see there the backups but the app do not load the backups.
It's very annoying. Is there any other app that cand manage TiBu files?
Create backup in internal storage. Copy your backup files from external to same internal location. Enable dev options. Untick 'mount namespace seperation' in SuperSU settings. Deny TiBu root access. Re install TiBu and grant access.
I've solved the problem.
I think all the files were corrupted. I had a copy of backups in my PC and those file worked just fine. The backups were on the SD card and maybe it was unmounted successfully.
Thanks for all the help!
It's titanium's fault. After installing the newest version it didn't detect any backups. After downgrading everything worked fine.
i restarted my lg g3 d855 which uses 7.1.2 lineage stock to twrp and did a dalvik and a cache wipe.
when i opened up my phone spotify gave me a no storage error, i tried to see what's wrong by using es file explorer pro and and the stock file explorer, both had nothing but an empty sign.
i rebooted to twrp again and it's own file explorer built in under the advanced menu, i was able to see /sdcard and /storage/emulated/0 and files under these partitions such ad Android and downloads.
what should i do? i can't even take screenshots because none of the apps have access to internal storage
I've tried to install official firmware with sdcard/dload/UPDATE.APP method, but it shows software install failed,
Inside the firmware zip file I got a installation guide and there they said if installation failed you should firstly upgrade a transfer package first provided by R&D.
But what is this transfer package and where I can get it??
See screenshot below,
Rom needs to be on internal storage first, can't install from sdcard. If you can put it in /data folder with twrp(custom recovery). Your bootloader is unlocked?
I don't know the method you're using(never heard of it, and wouldn't trust it), but download the rom, transfer it to phone(USB). If you have a file manager, and root, move it to internal storage, in the /data folder. If not, but you have twrp installed as the recovery, use that file manager. Wipe dalvik, and cache, then install.
