Hi everyone, I was wondering if someone would be able to help me with my question/problem. I'm kind of new to this site, so please excuse me if I seem noobish. I tried looking everywhere in the forums for something similar to my predicament, but I didn't find anything. Either that, or I didn't look very well.
Anyways, I'll try to be as brief as possible. I bought a broken Samsung Galaxy S2 with a cracked screen and broken digitizer for $100. My plan was to swap out everything with replacement parts, but when I took it apart to check the model number (because I noticed some differences from my i9100) I found out that it was the Korean-type S2. The model number is SHW-M250S. I looked everywhere on Ebay and Amazon for the lcd screen and digitizer for this exact model, and nothing came up except the regular i9100 lcd+digitizer replacements. Link below:

I did check on Amazon, and the closest thing I was able to find for the shw-m250s model are these items that are in the link below. Other than the lcd screen and digitizer, it also comes with a brand new housing and other parts I don't need. Which is just making it more expensive. Link below:

My question is, can I use a regular i9100 lcd screen and digitizer replacement part for my SHW-M250S model, or at least use the (SHW-M250L) model part that I found on Amazon? The SHW-M250L parts look very similar to the one that I have. (That "L" could be a typo) If not, can someone send me a link to a site or place where I can buy ONLY the lcd screen and digitizer part for my exact model?
Thanks a lot in advance.

The "L" supports CDMA, which you do not have, but my guess is they should all work, since they use the same screen. I could be wrong, though.
I would buy the international and if it doesn't work for your model - resell it. You can also try asking in the monster SHW-M250S thread.
By my guess, I think it should still be compatible because I doubt the screens have any major differences whether its a CDMA or GSM version. Neither do they affect the phones GSM or CDMA ability itself.

I am looking to purchase an Xperia Z Ultra from Swappa..

Just to confirm this phone will work in the UK? I am on 3-UK in Scotland and don't want to buy the phone if it won't work over here
Thanks!
P.S - Why is the phone missing the Sony Logo?
They removed the sony screen protector which is by all accounts a very difficult thing to do and some people have reported scratching their screens in doing so.
So recently I broke my galaxy s4, the screen is broken pretty badly all the way from the glass to the actual display, and is unusable. I really want my s4 back, I was lucky enough to get an early one so I have loki with a custom rom, and I have a whole bunch of files on the internal storage that I want back. So, because the motherboard is still working, I am planning on getting another s4 and swapping the motherboard out. My only concern with this is that there might be different motherboard revisions. So, are there? Are all verizon s4 motherboards compatible in all verizon s4 phones?
Thanks.
There is no main board revision with verizon S4. Buy a screen with frame assembly that label L720/I545/R970 and it should fit.
I am planning to purchase Z4 tablet (WiFi version), however, I want to make sure that I get a version that has an unlockable bootloader. Since there is no official distribution in North America, it seems that my best bet is to purchase from eBay from Taiwanese seller for $535.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Sony-Xp...260082?hash=item4aee84cb32:g:1gAAAOSw8-tWZPJs
I was visiting Taiwan in August 2015, however, the price regular retailers were asking at that time was over $700 and I did not purchase it.
The issue with this eBay reseller is that they don't know if Z4 tablets they sell come with unlockable bootloader or not and tell my to assume that it's not unlockable which is a deal breaker for me.
Does anyone know reliable on line reseller that offers Z4 tablets with unlockable bootloader at a reasonable price?

Amazon.com in US sells Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet 10.1" 32 GB - Wifi Only - Black (U.S. Warranty) with Bluetooth Keyboard for $679.99.
The service menu of the SGP712 tablet I bought says YES, the bootloader is unlockable.

Yes, thanks, I saw it on Amazon but it's also quite a bit more expensive there... On top of it, the Canadian customs will slap me with duties and taxes for purchases from USA. With our "smart" government artificially devaluing CAD$ against US$ in order to improve export revenue this tablet would cost me CAD$ 1200 which is a lot more I am willing to pay. I'can get over the fact that between 2007-2014 CAD$/US$ were essentially 1:1.
There is a good chance that I will visit Asia in 2016 as well and perhaps then there will be Z5 model available.
The 10 inch tablets have tended to go every other update, so Z, Z2 and Z4, which the Z3 only being the Compact tablet. Following this in future it seems a Z5 Compact Tablet would likely be coming?

The Sony Tablet S and Xperia Tablet S have a 9.4 inch screen. The Xperia Tablet Z, Xperia Z2 Tablet, and Xperia Z4 Tablet have a 10.1 screen. The Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact has a 8.0 screen, which to me, makes it Sony's only "compact" tablet so far. I suspect the rumored Xperia Z5 Premium Tablet (perhaps revealed during CES Las Vegas 2016) will have a 10+ inch 4k screen.

Hey Guys,
Cracked my tablet screen by accident. Only manage to find one local shop that is able to repair at a cost of AUS$470! Do you know where I may be able to purchase a screen assembly online? I am located in Australia. Thanks. Rob
I contacted sony support and they fixed mine for free !
@g8ryj Bummer, I weren't so lucky.
I did find a supplier in Sydney for $279. All fixed ?
