Hello
I noticed , that we dont have a topic to post battery problems and fixes for them. So i created one.
How to post a problem
Tell your :
-Android version
-Kernel which u are using (and important setting like schreder/grovenor and max&min frequences and UV or OV voltages)
-Costom rom name
Olso post some screenes
-battery live
-Better battery stats (kernel&partial wakelog and proceses tabs)
-wakelog dedector stats
-If u want post olso CPU spy screenes
-I u have deepsleep problems post thing that are connected with deepsleep.
-If u have screen on battery problems post things connected with screen on.
-If both then post everything.
Please read second post (and search on internet) before posting there.

Fixes
There are solutions for already solved problems.
-The most common SystemUpdateService wakelog
Spoiler
Install app called disable services.
Open it and navigate to google play services framework. Find red writing 'system update services' and check it. Olso go to google play services and do the same. Remember after reboot u need to re-check it again !
- com.google.android.gmc wakelog
Only partial fix
Spoiler
Download app called 'App Ops' (it has to be compatoble with your android version so read the description before downloading. Open it and disable 'keep awake' and 'location' permissions in every app (even system).
For me com.google.android.gmc wakelog presists (but with little smaller amount). But phone deepsleep improved a lot. Before phone was draining ~15%/hour in deepsleep and now its like 2x slower. So this is only a partial fix. I have any ideas how to freeze com.google.android.gmc please write your walkaround there.
I will try to keep this thread up to date but it wont be always possible.

This thing isnt avaliable in disable services app.
System and apps say , that phone goes into deepsleep , but wakelog exists and drains battery.

Greetings XDAits!!
I am here with this new thread to understand and research so as to how much do the individual settings on our phone help us to squeeze maximum runtime from our batteries..
Also to test out and provide you with the best settings so that your phone runs longer and also stop the drain being complained and experienced by some of our fellow members...
Here's what I'll want from all members who stop by this thread to do is :-
(To give the following information in the following order)
1)Device details (Name, Model No)
2)Firmware Running On (GB,ICS)
3)Their personal seetings which shld include the following :
a) Screen Brightness
b) Bravia Engine On/Off
c) Glove Mode On/Off (Only for Sola users)
d) Extended Battery Mode On/Off
e) WiFi/Data Connection On/Off (with minimum/medium/heavy usage)
And your personal additions...
Also it's requested to post your screenshot of your battery consumption graph along with the processes which are consuming it...
"Devs are also invited to give their opinions and mods so as to improve battery backup in our devices"
So here's my part in the post :-
1) Sony Xperia Sola (Mt27i)
2) Stock ICS Non Rooted
3)a]Auto Minimum
b]Bravia Engine Off Always (drains battery alot)
c]Glove Mode Off Always (drains battery alot)
d]Extended Battery Mode On for atleast 6hrs
e]Data Connection On 24*7 medium surfing
My battery backs me up almost a day with minimal music and minimum surfing...
Here's the graph

Just a tip, the use of task managers to kill processes and free RAM doesn't do much good for your battery.
Some android processes stay in memory and are usually idle till required, when you kill them they reload themselves into memory and have to re-do all the processing they were doing before they were killed which means your CPU spends more time processing things it already has done before, that's wastage of battery. Memory management is done by the OS pretty well, so take that into mind.
And if an app requires more ram, the OS automatically unloads other apps to create space for it in RAM. Unless you plan to use it all (like when running a heavy game), doesn't make a difference what amount of RAM is available on your phone whether its 3mB or 300mB.
Well mate it usually happens with me! So I decided removing all stamina mode nd stamina mode related things nd made a flashable zip! Now when ever I get this problem I just flash! It works!!
Or more simple option
Just copy SuperStamina file from system/app nd move it to SDcard nd now delete SuperStamina file from system/app, it will give you reboot!, now move the SuperStamina file from SDcard to system/app nd give permission to RW-R-R nd reboot it will work again!

Hey guys, Pokémon Go should be literally unplayable on this device (stock ROM runs Android 4.2.2). I'm here to explain what ROM to use in case that you want to play Pokémon Go without lag on this device.
If the device explodes in your hands, and your face gets in fire because of your device's overheating, just don't blame me for the error you made for following my steps, I'm not a developer nor a computer.

Requirements:
You need to flash one of these ROMs: CM11 by pollos (leaving XDA, Spanish webiste, but I hope you all know how to translate it or just pick the link from the entire thread) or CM13 by EdwinMoq.
GLTools (no warez: GLTools [root] (gfx optimizer), if you want to use warez version, remember RAM memory, you'll just take advantage of it lately, remember)
Fix graphics lag:
Procedure:
Tick the three checkboxes and then, hit Install.

}
Put the red highlighted areas to the same value as the image shows.
That's all, reboot your device just to make sure that everything is saved successfully, and open PGO .
Side-effects:
Graphics errors, such as black areas or totally blank video data from some things (generally the map and the Pokédex).
Video feels blurry and sometimes distorted (when the graphic to show is too complex to render).
Fix GPS issues:
Procedure:
Download and install Artas182x's L9 GPS Fixer
Open L9 GPS Fixer and click those buttons:
1 - The device will cache an update.zip to the recovery, and a script. Then it'll reboot and flash the GPS drivers.
2 - Will ask for LTO pathfiles, those are going to help the GPS to connect with speed and accuracy.
The main problem that i found with Pokemon GO on P768 is GPS and not lags, the character is not walking correctly. This app GLTools fix this?

HEBF(empty heart, full battery)
Created in the midst of a broken heart, on top of this, my device's battery was discharging fast and increasing my fury, then the application was created in 2014 (before in shell) intended to improve battery life and performance of your phone using tweaks and mods.

I do not own or made this kernel. The owner/developer is @Laulan56, all the credits, copyright are belong to the original owner.
Warning:
It's your choice to use it or not.
I do not responsible for what happened to you.
If you messed it up and you point your finger at me, i will laugh so hard at you.
Marisa OSS Kernel was build for toward performance, efficiency, while also maintaining battery backup.
Please Note:
The Marisa kernel is only work on OSS AOSP Android 12.

Instructions:
•Enter recovery mode, install Magisk first as it required, then find the file you downloaded in storage and install it.
•Clean "Davik-ART" and "Cache" after done and before reboot (Optional).
Bugs:
•Weird or corrupt color when the brightness is set to low enough. Avoid set the brightness to lowest or your device screen will become total black, if you are stuck, then reboot.
•You may experience minor lags of animation in some apps.
•Slow charging? Go to system/vendor/etc and remove all the files with name "thermal-xxx", "thermald-devices" and reboot (It's recommend you to take backup before remove them), if the system is blocked you from delete it, then boot to recovery mode and go to file manager or something like that, if it not, then reboot few more time until it's working.
•It's the only fix i did found so far, and on't worry about overheating, kernel or the ROM (maybe) have msm or caf thermal. When it reach 45°-46°, the charging will slow down.
•However, don't run any heavy app like 3D Games, Video Editor or Benchmark during charging, or your device will get huge lags, freeze and the fast charging will stopped working until you reboot it.
Also don't use or uninstall any Magisk modules that affect charging.
