Hi there, I am running my own VPN Server and just wanted to add OpenVPN to my Android phone. Is there any way to use OpenVPN automatically when connected to WIFI but not to use it on 3G/4G ?
So far I tried OpenVPN connect on android but didn't see any settings for this.

Hello!
I want to connect my hd2 via wifi with an cisco vpn network! So i have tried the following programs:
- anthavpn
- bluefire
- ncp client
but if i install these programs i can't find a wifi network! If i delete the programs there is no problem to find wifi network!
I think the problem is that the network adapter which is installed whith the program is wrong because without programs there is the network adapter "L2TP NDISWAN Miniport" used and with programs there is a own adapter!
Can anyone help me??

Hi all, I'm trying to get OpenVPN working on my SGS2 - connecting to a WRT54G router running DD-WRT (with OpenVPN).
This is my first Android device and I previously had the same tunnel working on my Nokia N900 before I dropped it and killed the touchscreen.
So the phone is rooted using this kernel here. I've added OpenVPN Installer, OpenVPN Settings and Busybox, copied some keys and created a config file. The settings app says that it connects fine but I don't appear to have a tunnel.
Firstly, I appreciate I may need a tun.ko module seeing as I've not added one. How do i check if I've already got one?

Solved it with the zip from this thread.
I'd read that before but hadn't realised it was going to work for me. Got nowhere with the tun module as modprobe was showing nothing. lsmod is still showing nothing even with the tunnel up and running!

I'm running AOKP version 36 and I'm trying to enable the ad-hoc function to use the tethering of my Nokia mobile phone. After doing the wpa-supplicant file change and adb shell programming, I canno't even turn the wifi on.
Can someone give me a tip of how do that with this rom?
I was using the Task 14 rom before and this function is native there...

Ad-Hoc Wifi app on Goolge Play doesn't work...
I tried installtion the Ad-hoc app that I used in the HC3.2 (available at Google Play) and that didn't work. It even damaged the wpa_supplicant file; I had to manually replace it.
Any guess?? This feature is native on Task's rom. Why can't the dev's include this issue on the ICS AOKP/CM9?? Where should we make this request?

So i request you kindly give me a link to the some softares or some thread which can solve my probem.i used the Wifi Hostspot but my android stucks on the obtaining ip address but when i search for the problem on the internet. The solution was that to delete the files from the /data/misc/dhcp .Therefore i rooted my device but still the files are not deleting .I tried everythng but nothing works also the USB reverse thethering didn't worked for me.So kindly give me a solution so that i can use my PC internet on my android.

I want to develop an application which runs a Http server without any external modem i.e. both server and wifi tethering should be in same device.
Example lets say android devices A, B and C are there. Now device A will be tethering (wifi hotspot enabled) as well server has to run in it. So that device B and C can connect to it forming a client which can access the server. How do i do this. Pls help...
I tried using server ultimate app, but ended without success since it is working only when i'm connected with external wifi modem/mobile data.
Pls let me know if there are any application exist like my requirement.
