I have Galaxy S3 9300 international version but the display is broken like hell not see anything. So now I want to buy new display but its too much range and I dont want to expend so much money for this mobile.But one of my friend has USC Galaxy S3 SCH-R530 model and his motherboard not working.So I'm thinking that its possible that my GT-I9300 model motherboard can fit on SCH-R530????If is it possible then I save sooo much money.Please guys tell me is it possible?????
As I remember display is the same but there are differences in mainframe between those models. I9300 motherboard will not fit without modifications in r530 lte variant frame. You could short circuit and fry your motherboard if you will make this wrong.

I decided to change the mainboard of the phone.
Question: Do I have to use the mainboard of the same model? Can I use models from Verizon or At&t?

I have international version of Samsung Galaxy S2 Gt-I9100 with bad mother board.I have a friend in US who has two S2's with broken displays.But they are US versions from T-Mobile and Sprint.
Can anyone tell me is it possible to swap the LCD of international version in to US versions of Samsung Galaxy S2?

No, the screen on the SGH T989 (the US T-Mobile version) is larger @ 4.52", the I9100 is 4.3" (source: GSM Arena).
And what about the main board?Are they the same or different?Maybe it is better to find used main board and put it in my phone.
Processors are different, might not be compatible with other components in the phone. Yes, your best bet is to try & source a 2nd hand board (the correct one) - search online.
So i have i9305 and i9300
On i9300 i broke efs/IMEI
On i9305 my display is busted
So my frend told me i can put i9305 motherbord in i9300
So do think this wold wold work or no ?
And if it works i get 2 Gb of ram or 1 (shuld be 2 i think)

My friend said i should swich motherbord
I was originaly planing to pay somebody to take i9300 display off
and then place the display on i9305
What is better and less expesive by your opinion

I want to fix it with the lowest cost so I thought of buying a used s3 that is for parts, ex " not charging - no signal...etc"
but I want your help on which models are compatible LCD with I9300 ?
SCH-S960L , SCH-I535 , SPH-L710,,etc
update :I found a cheap sprint samsung galaxy s3 nearby SPH-L710 ,,will my GT-i9300 motherboard fit in place SPH-L710 ?
