Umm if you have it deep hibernated, it cannot wake up TiBu.

Hi,
I've got a similar problem but I'm NOT using Greenify.
I have my schedule set for 2am and the scheduled task doesn't kick off until the next morning when I start using my phone.

Sounds like it's caused by Marshmallow's Doze feature. Have you tried going to the battery optimisation settings and add TiBu to "don't optimise" list?

As far as I know, each app individually controls the notifications it can send - in some cases you even can't enable/disable them. On the other hand, you can disable the sync of certain accounts which, in turn, could disable most notifications of the corresponding apps, but there's no way to batch enable all notifications.
why? Good Question

its because android has a fully open source operating systems, so the app and game developers have to use there own notification settings, so you have to enable or disable the notifications in the app itselfs, there is no app that works perfectly that can switch them all on or off.
i hope i helped you, by the way try out FoxHound Rising 1.9 s3 rom because its mind blowingly awesome

mate use titanium backup and backup your app data and settings then copy your titanium backup data to a safe place then install your new rom and then install your apps including titanium backup and then place your titanium backup data back into the original location and restore the data for the apps you have installed that you have backups for, this will save you alot of time
thats what i do
i make a titanium backup and then restore the user apps with data
but still you need to atleast start that app once to recieve notifications
for example : Whatsapp or drippler or facebook
unless you are talking about backing up some system apps too using titanium backup that are responsible on notification settings

i know what you mean... but most apps you need to log in atleast once just to activate the app such as log in account details or get past the tutorial, but saying that i have not had a problem using titanium backup it remembers all the settings and log in info if you backup correctly
well yeah but i dont get notifications for other apps either like Crickbuzz and apps does not requires login or anything
i do a full backup/restore for all user apps only with data using titanium backup

True. Apps saved via Titanium Backup keep most settings stored - such as login data, notification settings, ringtones settings.
I keep my backups on the external SD, so when I factory reset I can restore the apps just as easily. It would take one big time effort to configure each app, but after that you shouldnt need to do it again... ever.

How to greenify apps?

I want to use greenify to "freeze" a certain apps when are not in foreground, do don't check in the background for location, connect to internet to update, and so on and so forth. Like if weren't installed from the beginning. I couldn't find anything in the user interface, the app looks more oriented to hibernate the entire phone (which I don't want).

Look elsewhere. Greenify doesn't "freeze" any app.

Ok look like there was a misunderstanding. Didn't mean "freeze" in the way Titanium Backup does, but rather prevent the app from doing anything unless in foreground. Greenify is capable of that, you just add the desired apps to the list.
Hibernation Manager is similar and has high ratings. Also explains things better.

My understanding is, when you add apps to the autohibernate list and when you continue to work with one app in the foreground, any other hibernated app will continue to run (if started while you are working or if already running) till the screen is locked. Only after that the running apps will hibernate. This is the behaviour I am seeing.
Correct me if I am wrong.
Edit: Even Hibernation Manager works only when screen is off. Please read its description in Play Store.

Yes Hibernation Manager and Greenify only work when screen is off. That's enough for me, but do you know if any app that does it also when the screen is on? (App always hibernating unless on foreground)

Titanium Backup to run when charging

It would be very useful if Titanium backup and Tasker were compatible in such a way that when I plug my phone into the charger, Tasker can detect this event and launch one of my specific TB backups (i.e Backup new user+system apps& newer versions).
I know there exists scheduled backups, but I'm not looking for those. I charge my phone irregularly because I have a giant 11,000 mAh battery strapped to it, so a nightly backup - say, 3 AM- isn't practical for me. I can make shortcuts on TB that starts the backup process. But I could not find a way to make tasker run these TB shortcuts.
People have suggested to use Auto-shortcut plugin for Tasker, but this does not detect/list the custom shortcut from TB (or any TB shortcut), and I have tried everything I could to try to get it to work.
If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated
You put a widget to the desired backup in a side launcher (or on your homescreen) and get over it that it takes you half a second to manually innitiate the backup whenever you plug in your phone.
I virtually takes half a second. Imagine all the backups you could have made while trying to figure out how to make taker do it for you.
I agree, it takes a second to do this, but if it can be automated, I'd prefer it so. Anyone?

Schedule a backup every hour at night, but only if charging. It's a setting within tibu, no tasker nedded.
Or try scheduling a backup for 03:00 everyday and "kill app, titanium backup, if screen is on, or power is not ac at 02:59:59:91".

Titanium backup problems

Hello, I have run into a problem with titanium backup. It seems to stop the multi profile setting ok apps from working every now and then. E.g I have Facebook and messenger using multi profile (users for me and my partner) and sometimes when I switch the profile using the multi user button it will only switch one of the apps or neither. I'm really hoping this problem is fixable thanks.

[HELP] Scheduled tasks/background stuff doesn't run

I have a few apps that are supposed to do things in the background (Google Photos uploading, Titanium Backup running scheduled jobs) and they simply don't run.
I have set their battery optimisations correctly and have them able to run in the background, but no luck.
This was also happening before I rooted the phone (not with TB though obviously!)
Any ideas, or is this an EMUI bug?
-EDIT- Scheduling a task in Tasker works fine. Tasker is using identical battery opt settings to TB.
