[Q] Moto E 1st Gen Dual SIM custom ROM support - Moto E Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey there,
I saw a discount offer for Moto E Dual SIM 1 st Gen and was thinking it would be a great budget phone. Could anyone please quickly explain if custom ROM - specifically cyanogenmod - support Dual SIM feature (not just support the dual sim phone but actually allow you to call using both SIMs) ? If yes, is it supported on both KK & LP 5.x builds ?
TIA

Yes you can call using both sims on cyanogenmod 11 as well as cyanogenmod 12.

Hi,
So, no... ALSO, a new build of the CyanogenMod ported to the Moto E has started. The Old Ported project have so much bug, and the Carbon is based on it. But now, maybe a developer can make a new version of Carbon based on this new build.
Sorry for this english :c

Single SIM, Dual SIM ROM - anything to consider when flashing/choosing ROM ?

Hi guys,
since there are single and dual ROM devices available of the Redmi Note 4
is there anything to consider when flashing ROMs on the Dual SIM device ?
I mean - is mido = mido
(single SIM mido = dual SIM mido) ?
e.g. on Sony Stock ROMs (or sometimes AOSP ROMs) you need to flash specific versions to get microSD and network working
Many thanks in advance
There is no single sim Mido and it doesn't matter if you use single or 2 sims all the ROM's will be good to go. :good:
