Problem with calibrating Galaxy s6 g920 -need help - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

While trying to update Kernel recovery version TWRP from the G925 to the G920, the update completed successfully, but when the device booted I noticed that the touch pad was working in reverse.
When I touch one side the opposite side responds.
All of my attemps to restore the decive to original ROM with PIT were successful, but the touch pad is still working in reverse.
Please, can someone help me, is there any hidden menu or option that can calibrate the screen/touchpad back to nomal ?

Can you please update us what you did to fix it?
Where did you found PIT files for S6.
Thank you.

@SHATTAH
have you try :
1: if you can save all your data , because all will be deleted after( 2 and 3 )
2: factory reset with the keyboard dial : *#87976633# and reboot your phone
3: recovery mode for wiping cache partition and data/factory reset http://wgnszoz9s1.1fichier.com/

Hi Shattah.
Do you remember the which version of TWRP of the G925 (edge) did you use on the G920 (flat)? Was it the chinese, the t-mobile, or some other? Trying to install TWrp on my s6 g920i flat (demo unit) and no luck so far. Please let me know and I'll try that trick. Cheers.

is that command supposesed to work with default os that comes with the s6 edge. U went in the phone field and pasted the code where my phone reponded by telling me I was dialing a wrong number.
Thanks

Hi there, how exactly do I flash the MG4 modem.bin via Odin
I would be doing this for the ATT version of the Galaxy S3 but I am encountering the same issues that the OP here is describing
I have Odin and know how to use it, just not sure where I find the MG4 modem bin file
Best Solution that works

I agree with you on this and I've done it myself and it works 110%. So if any of u guys out there are facing the same problem, don't waste your money on sending your phone to the service center, they'll just eat up your money and your time.....instead just follow the steps and I can bet u it'll solve your problems. I have rooted my Samsung S3 from Android 4.1.2 to 4.2.2 to 4.3 and then downgraded it back to 4.1.2 which only then I encountered the problem of "Not Registered on Network". But then, after going through various forums and lastly your article, I decided to try it out myself and it works beautifully without any hiccups.
Prior to doing anything on your phone, u have to download Odin3 v.3.09 and after that, make sure u download the following firmware:-
a) AP_I9300XXUGMJ9_1902166_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5 file
b) BL_I9300XXUGMJ9_1902166_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5 file
c) MODEM_I9300BUUGMJ3_REV02_REV04_CL1413323.tar.md5 file
d) CSC_VFG_I9300VFGGMJ5_1986192_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5 file
Just for pointers, please follow closely these steps:- (No shortcut please)
1. Load the file sinto Odin now:
 Click on the AP button on Odin and select the AP_I9300XXUGMJ9_1902166_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5 file
 Click on the BL button on Odin and select the BL_I9300XXUGMJ9_1902166_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5 file
 Click on the CP button on Odin and select the MODEM_I9300BUUGMJ3_REV02_REV04_CL1413323.tar.md5 file
 Click on the CSC button on Odin and select the CSC_VFG_I9300VFGGMJ5_1986192_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5 file
2. Click the Start button to begin flashing the Android 4.3 firmware on your International Galaxy S3 GT-I9300, and wait until you see a PASS! message in Odin’s top left box.
3. When you get PASS! message, your phone will restart automatically. You can then disconnect your phone from PC.
If you see FAIL message instead of the PASS in Odin’s top left box, that a problem. Try this now: disconnect your S3 from PC, close Odin, remove phone’s battery and put it back inside in 3-4 seconds, open Odin and thenrepeat from Step 3 of this guide again. Also, If device is Stuck at setup connection or on any other process, then too, try this: disconnect your S3 from PC, close Odin, remove phone’s battery and put it back inside in 3-4 seconds, open Odin and then repeat from Step 3 of this guide again.
Good Luck & may the force be with u............

After flashing everything looks good until I have to punch in Pin for my Sim-card......No go:crying:
Any tip will be appreciated
I found the solution Firmware(Chile) for Gt-s6102B did it!!! Downloaded (S6102BVJMC2_S6102BCHOMD1_CHO)
from sammobile(free registration needed)
used Odin 3 v3.07..........(run as admin)
Only add "pad-file"....
Hit start, and a few minutes later....Voila..Touch is working again

thanks , i was having the same problem so i followed your steps and it worked for me (GT-s6102B) but it was missing Arabic so i flashed S6102JPMA3_S6102OJPMA3_S6102XXMA2_HOME.tar.md5 (GT-s6102) and it worked and arabic was installed
many thanks again
so, google brings this up for the problem, but i couldn't get odin to flash the full package from sammobile to the 6102B, getting splitfus2 to work was a bit of a riddle (64biit version doesn't have necessary libraries for it in cygwin need 32bit version to work) anyways, i created a few of them thought it might help anyone else with this issue and who are less tech savvy. these worked for me, there are BR and Chile roms for the 6102B, flashing non B roms seem to leave touchscreen unresponsive after flashing the phone.

take no credit, just used splitfus2 to split the tar.md5 from sammobile and uploaded them to mega. worked to fix the 6102B, it went to reboot loop, flashed a 6102 rom with which touch didn't work.
sorry to bring ancient thread up, if anyone has this issue google will make it an easy fix pointing to this thread as it did for me.

Dear,
Hi,
I am vicky, i purchased my P780 in Jan 14, since then it was working flawlessly till last night when somehow i lost my focus and installed Chinese theme centre of Lenovo, from where i downloaded few themes for my Lenovo P780, after applying one of the themes and troubles started, there is an error msg appeared " unfortunately, Lenovo Lock Screen has stopped" after pressing ok the msg kept coming endlessly. it is not disappearing. however when i connected my phone to laptop it was detected immediately, and there are no problem in charging as well.

A factory reset must be done from settings or from recovery(stock or custom like TWRP).
If you cannot acces setings in your Android you could do factory reset from recovery.
To enter or acces recovery you must do: power off your phone. Start yout phone with volume+ volume - and power buttons pressed all together.
Once entered in recovery you must do wipe. NOT ADVANCE WIPE.
Good Luck.

Hey techs, seriously in need of your precious help and suggestions!
I went to flash stock firmware on my Moto e and it was successful. After my phone successfully booted I saw a software update notification and I downloaded the update!
But the problem arose when I clicked on install update button...A few minutes later my phone screen went black.I tried to boot Into recovery but I couldn't!
Neither of the key combination are working and my phone is totally unresponsive!
When I plug into charging only the battery notification LED lightens but nothing happens on screen!
Plz help me friends!
Try force rebooting, press and hold power button for 30+ seconds.
This will delete all the data in your phone and will restart. Let me know if its working or I'll provide some other solutions.

So sorry bro. It's bricked. There already a thread which says not to update from 4.4.2.
Contact Mobileunbrick.com they may help you!
An unbrick method is being developed by devs on XDA, do wait and try those to unbrick it

@mama_thakur and all those who are facing Moto E problems, have a look at my XDA DevDB Project: Unbrick hard bricked Motorola Moto E - Aravind V. Nair (XDA)
I have a FAQ, and some things which I'm making along with some troubleshooting steps which might be of help to all those who are facing issues.
