Hello, should I wipe/factory data reset after I rooted my device ?
Probably not, unless you have a ROM stored on your device that you would like to flash over your existing OS.
Hey guys, here`s a quick question.
If i installed a custom rom, then flashed a couple of apps like voice search via CWM, will they get deleted after the factory reset (from the settings menu, not CWM) ? The apps were flashed in the system folder, as if they were stock with the rom.
No! wont get deleted
I installed PA in slot 1, and tried to access bmm setting, but it said installation failed and after that i tried to reboot, and got stuck out of system with no way to boot into system.
I tried DROID_RAZR_Utility_Jellybean_XT912_WinMacLin and succesfully flashed stock rom, but cant wipe data as no backup of data off the device. also cant book in stock system as different rom installed. please help me, how do i wipe data withou losing sdcard data
1. can i install bmm from fastboot?
2. can wipe data(without wiping media) from any other way, eg BP, BP SBF Fash, etc?

Factory reset should not have wiped your system partition. Could be that you formatted everything. Just flash a rom for your device if you have custom recovery or flash stock firmware thru SPFT.
Hi,
I have Unnihertz Titan (Mediatek based) and I sucesfuly flashed TWRP by using a guide and got root via Magisk. Everything was working fine, I tried to restore some partial backups and it failed, so I tried Factory reset. Didn't worked from TWRP (now I know that because /data partition was encrypted), so I tried from settings. That was huge error. Now I'm stuck in the loop, bootloader tries to run recovery to do Factory reset, but the alpha TWRP I installed doesn't react and what is worse it doesn't clear the request for Factory reset so even after wiping /data and cache, I still end up in TWRP and not system. Any idea where the request for Factory reset might be stored?
Ok, found it, it was in `para` partition and all I had to do was erase it using fastboot.
