Bootloader is gone! - I brick LG L4 II E467F - Urgent help plz! - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone.
First sorry my poor english.
Yesterday I received a phone (LG L4 II E467F Dual SIM) from a customer, the unit was but connecting the loading stopped with the LG logo and stand on this screen. I tried to upgrade the PC Suite, the cell was placed in download mode and the update is performed by the software, download and recording was carried out on the device during the recording process progress was up to 94% with the power on, when he got 95% the device was turned off automatically (A device's battery was at about 70% during the process), then the process has reached 100% normally without error messages.
After this the phone turned a brick, does not care, does not vibrate, does not go into download mode, finally does nothing. But noticed that it was shown in Windows Device list without driver. I used a software to install drivers and the device driver has been installed and he was recognized as "USB Port MTK (COM5)."
I watched a few topics about it, but could not properly understand the procedure and I was afraid to end any device recovery chance.

Does anyone know how I can recover the bootloader of the device?
The bootloader is my biggest concern, because if the device start and stop again with LG logo can at least return the device to the customer

Stuck at Bootlogo LG E510 [pls move if inappropriate] - SOLVED

Hello guys,
Ive been lurking here for a while and i finally thought about joining the gang.
I cant find the LG E510 thread here so please move my thread if this place is inappropriate. Thank you.
I updated this E510 via the LG mobile support software and the install [after downloading firmware] got stuck at around 4% then at 14%
The software prompted me to remove the phone from connection, pull out the battery then try again. Now its stuck at boot screen.
I can start up the "Emergency Mode", where its the only way my PC can recognize the device connected. I tried using the LG software again but i get this:
Hard reset is said to be VolDown + Home + Power On yet it doesnt work, only gets to logo.
This is an unrooted phone that why i used LG-provided update software.
THe PC can detect the devices and installed drivers. The software can too, but this error is persistent.
A friend said something about disabling the LG modem in the device manager but i still get this error.
I have ADB which i used sometime ago with my HTC but the ADB says device not found.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you very much.
*** SOLVED
I dont know what exactly made it work but i did the following.
Disabled [not uninstall] all other devices installed by the phone except the LG Android Platform
- disable and restart. if uninstall is used windows will just install it again after restart. disable.
- may be a problem with my PC that it has difficulties connecting with the phone if the other child devices are on
Uninstalled the Update Software and Installed it again
This time i clicked Options > Update Recovery
- prompted for my Phone Model + SN or just the IMEI <- brainfart on my part shouldve seen this earlier
The software downloaded the exact same firmware V10H_00.kdz and installed it. Success!
Maybe there was something bad with the first one i downloaded being on WiMax connectivity.
I feel so stupid right now being unobservant and all...
Anyway thank you!

[Q] Hard Brick on MTK6589 (Jiayu G4T Advanced)

Hi! I really head your help!! I looked a lot around and followed lots of guides on how to revive my phone, but i've some big issue with it and i really hope that someone here may help me...
The Hard Brick (it won't turn on, it won't charge, it seems like he's totally dead) occurred the other day, i was trying to open googlemaps and the SP was really slow, so i turned it off, and then i wasn't able to turn it on again, at first it was stucked at the screen with the logo (before the splash animation, the logo that you can't normally change) then i managed to turn it on after 2 or 3 times taking off the SD card, but i got a corrupted homescreen, i turned it off again and then, after 2 or 3 times, i got the Hard Brick!!
Probably in my last attempts i created a bounch of errors in the rom that bricked my phone.
Here's what i've done to revive it:
- SPFlashTool 1332.0.187
- official drivers, recovery, rom, etc, from the jiayu.es website.
- removed the battery, manually installed the drivers.
- with spft i loaded the scatter file of the official rom and started the format:
the phone is recognised as Mediatek USB VCOM (Android) (COM3)
i always got the error: S_COM_PORT_OPEN_FAIL (1013)/B] (with every option available)
I tryied to download only the preloader.bin and the recovery.img but i recive the same error.
- someone give me an advice: to remove every old driver for the phone and leave the SPFlashTool to recognise the phone forcing the installation of the drivers. And i really don't get how to do it, the windows update automatically detect the device, if i stop the windows update i simply get an unknown device, the SPFT don't have a chance to recognise it and force the installation of the drivers.
Does anyone of you have a solution, a similar problem, a way to revive my cellphone?
I really can't effort another one XD

There is a guide right here
I already tryied to revive my phone with this guide, but with no success...
I was thinking that maybe someone can show me the right driver (with all the package of driver that i find i always have no idea which one i've to install)
And maybe someone already tryied to revive a jiayu g4a and know the name of the right preloader, 'cause apparently what i need to do is to download into the SP the right preloader to revive it...

[Q] Recover my LG L9 P760 from an aborted flash

First of all, I apologize for having uploaded all the figures of my post in the "figure.zip" attachment, but I was not able to insert them as separate figures using the "insert image" function. I am a new user and perhaps I am not allowed to use this function.
I am not able to recover from a "soft brick" due to an aborted flash of a stock ROM. Here is the story.
I started working with this LG phone:
Model: L9 P760 (Vodafone brand)
OS Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean (it was previously updated form ICS through the official upgrade from LG)
SW Version: P760 20d-262-02
Kernel: 3.0.31
Build: JZ054K
Baseband: L626_MODEM_SIC_01.1230.00
My goal was to re flash with another JB stock ROM, so upgrading its release and getting an unbranded phone.
I downloaded this stock ROM kdz file: V20H_00.kdz
Then I tried to flash with a procedure derived from this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2085344
The main difference was related to the fact that I did not put the smartphone in S/W Upgrade status at the beginning, I connected it to USB port when it was power on and set the PhoneMode to "DIAG" instead of "EMERGENCY". The phone went in "S/W Upgrade" mode during the flash procedure.
I worked on my laptop, the operating system is Windows 7 Professional, SP1 64 bit.
A problem occurred during the update: the LG Mobile Support Tool crashed and the phone remained in "S/W upgrade" status. I restarted the LG Mobile Support Tool, but I was not able to make it continue the update. Then I disconnected the phone from USB and removed the battery. When I re inserted the battery the phone did not boot anymore.
Now my LG L9 P760 does not start pushing the normal power on button.
It does not make a factory reset if I push Power on, home and vol- buttons
There are no any combination of buttons I can start for having any reaction from my LG L9.
Then, I tried to recover from this "soft brick" status in the way I describe hereunder.
1) I removed everything related to LG from my laptop (LG Mobile tool -including LGMOBILEAX directory under C:\ProgramData- and LG drivers)
2) I installed the following LG SW:
LG drivers, rel. 3.11.3, from a file named: LGUnitedMobileDriver_S50MAN311AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.11.3.exe
LG Mobile Support Tool rel. 1.7.3.0, installed through this program: B2CAppSetup.exe, running in Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode. From file properties , tab "details" I read this B2CAppSetup.exe is ver. 1.0.1.7.
3) I connected the smartphone to my laptop through the USB cable. After about 10 - 15 seconds it went in SW upgrade mode. At least, I see "S/W Upgrade - Please Wait while upgrading...." on the LG L9 screen. BTW, that occurs every time I connect the smartphone to my PC, in any cases: removing the battery or not removing it, pressing or not the vol+ button... In any cases it goes in that state.
Before connecting the smartphone, this is what Device manager showed:
[pls see devManager-phoneNotConnected.PNG in figure.zip]
After I connected the smartphone through USB, this is what Device Manager displayed:
[pls see devManager-phoneConnected.PNG in figure.zip]
Without starting the LG Mobile Support Tool I saw that after some minutes its display did not show the "S/W upgrade" message anymore, nothing was displayed. And after about 10 seconds the "S/W Upgrade.." message came back again. It is like the smartphone tried to connect to some applications running on the laptop, but did not find any process there, then it retried, and so on.
When the LG display was black, the Device manager output was like it was before connecting the smartphone to USB port. When "S/W Upgrade..." came back on the LG display, LG devices came back on Device Manager output.
4) At this point, when "S/W Upgrade.." was displayed on LG I started the LG Mobile Support Tool. It seemed it was able to recognize my smartphone, as I saw this output.
[pls see LG_MobileSupportTool-start.PNG in figure.zip]
But waiting for 1 or few minutes without doing anything the "S/W upgrade..." message disappeared on my LG display and LG Mobile Support Tool showed this output:
[pls see LG_MobileSupportTool-start01.PNG in figure.zip]
It was like the connection between the smartphone and the LG Mobile Support Tool could not be kept, or was not stable.
5) Anyway, when the connection seemed to be ok I selected the choice "Upgrade Recovery" under "Options" menu choice, and the recovery procedure started. This is the sequence output I saw on the LG Mobile Support Display:
[pls see LG_MobileSupportTool-start02.PNG in figure.zip]
[pls see LG_MobileSupportTool-start03.PNG in figure.zip]
[pls see LG_MobileSupportTool-start04.PNG in figure.zip]
But during the "Upgrading your phone..." phase, the process was always blocked at 15% of its execution (it remained at 15% for a relatively long time, let's say 2 or 3 minutes) and I read this output:
[pls see LG_MobileSupportTool-start05.PNG in figure.zip]
Now, if I retry the procedure (with or without disconnecting the phone, removing the battery and so on and the reconnecting) I get this message if I push the "retry" button when the LG display is black.
[pls see LG_MobileSupportTool-start06.PNG in figure.zip]
Otherwise, If LG display indicates "S/W Upgrade..." the procedure restarts, but always with the same result: it aborts at 15% of progress, and LG Mobile Support Tool shows the same error:
I tried a lot of alternatives avoiding to download the ROM image online from LG site. I tried the procedures I found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2085344 and also here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190, where I found an interesting and more recent tool for an off line KDZ flash.
I tried to flash a couple of diferent KDZs: v20c_00.kdz -ICS- and V20H_00.kdz (JB) but always the procedure was aborted during the update.
I believe my problem should be related to 3 main factors:
Some issues on LG drivers, also if somehow my phone is detected by LG Mobile Support Tool, when I connect it via USB cable.
Some issues with the LG tools I use (or perhaps I do not configure everything needed in the right way, or perhaps there are issues with Windows 7 64 bit)
Some issues with the kdz I use. Perhaps I could adopt some othe stock ROMs (also if I have already tried with 2 different KDZ).
I tried these procedure using other PCs, another Win 7 64 bit and an XP SP3 32 bit, but basically the problem is always the same: the recovery / flash procedure is aborted at 15% of its progress.
Who could give me any advices on what could be the reason of this fault, and on what procedure I could do?
I have not tried anything related to adb or fastboot till now, as in my opinion my issue should not require these tools in order to be solved. I mean, my LG L9 easily goes in "S/W Upgrade.." mode, so it does not seem the problem is related to a boot loop status. Anyway, could a flash via fastboot solve my issue?
Pls help me, I can give you every additional details it could be useful...
Thank you in advance!
Ciao
Mauro
Hi Rossi Corsa, you could try this way http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=53820375

TY BajoPrimate, that thread gives me a hope!
But I still need your help. I tried that procedure, and I got an error very similar to the others described there: download failed after 6 sec..... So I tried to download the bin image for P760 that you indicated here, but the URL "http://uploaded.net/f/xh3dqq " seems to be not reachable anymore....
Where could I find a binary image to flash for my P760?
Do you want me to describe the error I got in a post on that thread? Of course I'll do if that is more correct in your opinion.
TY very much in advance!
Ciao
Mauro
Hi Rosso Corsa, you're welcome.
The download link works fine for me.
Try again from your computer or with another browser (i. e. dolphin).
Cheers. Good luck.

BajoPrimate, ty for your support.
I tried do get to this address:
uploaded.net/f/xh3dqq
And also to this one (after having seen the image you posted in your last append:
uploaded.net/file/j32p8p7y/from/xh3dqq
but in both the cases I got a "Unable to connect" message.
I tried from my laptop with Firefox, Internet Explorer and Chrome, getting always the same result.
Do you know what I could try to get this bin image?
On alternative, do you know any other address where I could find a bin image for my LG P760?
It seems the tool for getting a bin image from kdz is not running correctly. At least I got the same error messages others indicated....
TY very much!

Hi Rosso Corsa, you're welcome.
I don't have any other link.
You could try without your firewall or antivirus or with another PC (friends, family,neighbours,...).
Eventually you'll got it!

Need help with Qualcomm based device MSM 8625 [double-bricked] + total noob!

Dear nice guys of xdadevs,
This is the first time I'm posting and I'd like to request some help from any experts with qualcomm devices.
So the story's like this:
1. I purchased a crappy cheap knock-off local android called Zyrex Onescribe ZA957 (made in Indonesia), it shares similarities with ZTE models like the Zte Blade.
The reason why it was crappy is because it's super slow and it had Android 4.0 ICS installed. Also, whenever I try to shutdown or restart the phone, it would say "Shutting down TABLET". So I immediately knew that it came with a Tablet ROM! This was before I rooted it.
2. It only had like 456mb ram, so I installed Kingroot and successfully got it rooted
3. I then deleted the bloatware with the system uninstaller app downloaded from playstore
4. After a while, the phone just became slower and slower like it was always running out of ram. The boot loading process also took longer and longer as the days progressed, until one time, it just got stuck on the boot logo (bootloop?)
5. So I couldn't figure out what was going on and eventually the phone just decided to stop booting at all, except for making vibrations but no lights or anything else and I couldn't even get to recovery mode by pressing power/vol+ etc.
6. Then I followed instructions to reflash a stock rom and the phone was detected as MSM 9008 or 9006 or something like that. I forgot what program I used to reflash it, but I think I followed the instructions from a website in Indonesian for "tutorial unbrick andromax u".
I also installed the stock rom for that CDMA based phone because it had very similar specs to mine GSM/CDMA dual sim, qualcomm MSM8625 etc.
I knew I had "soft bricked" it at first, but the second time, bang! I've double bricked it and now it's truely bricked! Darnit!
If I try to connect to PC via usb, it's a constant game of cat and mouse where sometimes the PC would detect the phone as "Qualcomm MSM CMDA Technologies" for about 2 seconds, then it disconnects/disappears. Sometimes (after a whole lot of pluggin' & unpluggin', it would stay on the Qualcomm MSM CDMA Technologies as detected in device manager, but listed as "Unknown".
I've installed the drivers for qualcomm BEFORE I attempted to reflash so I know it worked in the past. I've removed the drivers and have reinstalled them, but I still can't get my phone into the 9008/6 mode anymore.
Basically, I want to try reflashing again but I don't know where to go and what to do from here, so any expert help would be strongly appreciated!
Many thanks to the good folks here!
Cheers.

LG K7 MS330 No download Mode, PC does not Recognize, No recovery Mode

I have an LG K7 on Metro. It's in some sort of boot loop. I have searched XDA and the net for a solution and keep coming up with solutions involving download mode. I'm unsure of what to do next. The phone has Error # 9 Authentication error as well as error 1009. When trying to go into Download mode it goes for about 10 seconds and then reverts to the LG welcome screen. When you try to turn it on it just stays on the LG welcome screen or cuts off. When plugging it up to my Windows 10 PC it shows LGE Android MTP Device in the Device Manager. I've tried to download the Drivers from the LG site and ran the installation on the computer with no change. I've tried to update the drivers from the Device Manager Screen with no change. It also gives you the noise when it connects to the PC. LG UP won't recognize the device and neither with the LG support tool. I have tried everything that I am capable of understanding at this point (which isn't much). I have read about trying to get it into EDL but can not find the correct test points... even if I did find the correct test points I'm not sure if that will even help me to fix the device. I need to breathe some life back into this phone. I hope I did not post this in the wrong place, or violate an XDA rule. I just really need some help... XDA has the most complete guides and accurate information I just can't find it about my particular situation. Anyone's assistance or thoughts (written to a non-techy person/non-developer newbie chic) would be helpful. This is week 3 of me scouring the net for answers. Thank you
