Hello all,
Just rooted with towelroot, been working great. Decided to flash TWRP and try some ROMs:
AICP 8.0 stable and 9.0 nightly
CM 11 (several nighties leading up to the latest before 12)
CM 12 (three latest nighties and the first)
Sacs MOAR port
Pac Man Lollipop 04/27/15 nightly
I no longer have the USB 3.0 option when plugging in my stock 3.0 cable. It was working normally at much higher speeds when transferring the exact same files back and forth when I was rooted before flashing TWRP. Now I am getting 2.0 speeds. Also, in the Lollipop ROMs, the UMS option only causes my phone to disappear from Windows Explorer only to show a CD drive that can't be opened.
There is another thread asking a similar question, but it's on the S5 forum, from 2014, and with no replies:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/help/usb-3-0-mtp-aosp-roms-t2903642
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thank you in advance!

Hi,
i was using Mokee 4.4.4 and since a few weeks I'm using Mokee 5.0.2
It is a rom like CM12 but with some customization, not as many as AOKP but still more than in CM12
It is multilangual and as stable as cm12
It was updated recently : http://www.yirom.com/rom/index/344
did someone already download it ? If yes is it possible to upload it somewhere else like mega ?
Thank you in advance
I'm running the 23/3 version of Mokee 5.02 as of a few hours. So far so good!
Does dual sim works well?
And battery consumption is similar to 4.4.4 RC7?
Did you detected any bugs?
Is it stable enough for a daily device?

I'm using the previous version (1st march) and I used it daily
i don't use 2 sim cards.
I had 1 reboot (not a wished, it was because of a crash) in nearly one month

The previous version dual SIM worked very well. I'll know if the dual SIM will work well for the new version later this week as I will be travelling.
Yes I'm using it for a daily work phone as I rely on it. Thou I have my ultra-stable iPhone 6 as my personal phone/backup :victory:
can someome upload it ?
EDIT: Someone post a mirror in other topic
I used this one : http://www.gamefront.com/files/24894999/MK50.2-nx507j-201503230233-UNOFFICIAL.zip
I think I get more spontaneous reboots with this new version than with the last version. However, it could be due to the memory leak issue all Android Lollipop phones have and isn't fixed until 5.1
Hoping to see Mokee 5.02 upgrade soon to 5.1 and integrate native dual SIM support...
Hello, I like the mokee rom,
If you have the file MK50.2 or more, please post it !

This has been confirmed in several posts on some of the Chinese bbs. Apparently, someone has released a temporary fix; although, I haven't tried it yet. I agree, I'm having the same problem. Additionally, it vibrates for everything. I currently have it set to vibrate only on phone and SMS, yet it does for everything and I cannot find out how to make it stop.

I didn't noticed this kind of error
but I admit this is because of my config => my phone does not vibrate and it is my xiaomi MiBand who vibrate for specific notifications
does anybody have a custom recovery that works with android 5.0 on z7 mini.
I have stock 5.0 installed and wanted to flash the newest mokee. but when i want to make a backup through the old mokee cwm, but it always says "cant mount data".I would thing thats because of the changed partitions.
Anyway, is there any (non-chinese) recovery that i can use with stock 5.0?

Here in the z7 mini rom thread on post 781 (top) is a link to TWRP 2.8.5.0. However, I don't know if the new mokee works after flashing the nubia version of 5.0 because I don't think (someone can correct me) the mokee uses unified storage yet. Can someone verify this?
Thanks, trying TWRP right now.
So anybody knows if i can flash Mokee 5.02 after flashing Offical 5.0 with the new kind of partitions?

I did not tried it right now as i'm still discoverng this android 5 by nubia...
i just tried it 1 min and can already say that I may switch to mokee soon (I'll try the nubia rom 1 week I guess..)
the UI feels slow
I don't like the nubia theme
and beside of that, the French translation f(cuoco92 rom) is partial and canadian only (other timezone, other clock format, other keyboard layout...)
nubia's rom seems more unstable than mokee (from the first comments I read on cuoco92 facebook page)
it is also very BIG (double the size...)
If you are afraid of bricking the phone, you can also use the stupid chinese tool to install again kitkat on the phone, then install again mokee
but i guess (not sure !!!! ) that it should be possible to install mokee without doing this pain in the ass trick :/

No, you cannot. See this thread on the Nubia forum. CM12 and Mokee are still technically considered 4.4 because they do not use the unified storage. You will most likely brick the phone if you attempt to flash it. You have to first use the Nubia updater to go back to at least 1.82, then you can use CM12 or Mokee.
good day to all,
I've got sony xperia z3 tablet compact; LTE version, SGP621 (scorpion). I've managed to unlock bootloader, install twrp, install cm-12.1-20150704-NIGHTLY-scorpion.zip, with gapps and superSU root.
What I realized after some time - when I was out of reach of my wifi - that cellular network (broadband) is not working. More specifically, there are no entries in main settings menu for "mobile network" and also in "about" section, there is nothing about network or broadband. Could you advise me how to get it working?
I thought I mistook my device for "scorpion_windy" one, and installed cm same version for scorpion windy, but with no luck obviously,
SGP621 should be indeed pure "scorpion"
cyanogenmod's support for this device is for me a little bit misty, I'm not sure if it is official or unofficial, what is supported and what not. Most importantly, how can I get the modem working with it.
Beside missing modem, I see no issues with CM 12.1 nightly on this device so far.

modem is working in android 5.1 aosp from free xperia project,
I'm gonna try another build of cyanogenmod
btw, I also tried android M preview on this device, however I can't get it out of safe mode. Anyhow, I don't want to run "preview" on my daily device, just wanted to have a look.
Could you post an exact guide how you did this? I am looking for tutorials for weeks now and nothing specific there. A step by step guide would be great...
Hey folks,
I have a couple of questions, if you'd be so kind.
Firstly, upon updating to Android 6.1, will my USB tethering still be available (I am on Three, with 30gb of tetherable data)? I had previously updated my tablet to 6.1, only to find my USB tethering became disabled, and had to revert back -- I even tried all the fixes.
Secondly, will Android stock ROMs work on this device? Specifically the latest one.
Edit: and by stock I mean the Google Android ROMs found on Nexus devices.
Thank yee kindly.

Each device has a it's own ROMs. You cannot flash a ROM of another device. Doing so will brick your device. And therefore you cannot use ROMs of any other device on your moto e 2015.
But you can definitely try other ROMs that give stock experience.
So i've installed this custom os [ROM] [N6F26Q] AOSP Nougat (12 Jan 2017) on my Galaxy s2 plus, and then my DSLR camera connection stopped working (OTG), but the os says it should be compatible with OTG, i'm not sure the DSLR has anything with OTG to do tho?. Now i have googled around and found files neccessary for it to work, installed them and USB Host Controller detected them, still not recognising the camera.
So is there a way to install what's "neccessary" from the original stock firmware into some kind of kernal or "added function" via Custom Recovery or perhaps Odin?
Thanks to anyone that can potentially help to solve this!
This is something you give up when you use aosp. The otg works only if they use the open source version which most do not.
With aosp only the very basic functions will work.
Any custom rom for s2 plus that it works on if you know?
If anyone else have the same issue, it was never a problem with the os, i've tried it on several custom Os aslong as your phone is OTG compatible it works, it seems.
Buy a new OTG Cable and it will work again, or rather say buy the adapter version of it, better then the ****ty cable version that i bought, that broke out of thin air.
Just an observation I made when installing custom ROMs on my V30 is that anything Android 10 seems to break Android Auto. Seems to work fine on most Android 9 custom ROMs and Stock ROMs, but appears to be broken as of 10. I was wondering if there is anyway to fix it? (I'm talking about the USB tether to car radio). Willing to help in anyway possible!
Which 10 ROM you used and which you preferred? Did you try wireless Android Auto?
I have used Lineage OS 17.1 and Havoc OS 3.2 - I prefer HavocOS. The phone recognises the headunit however nothing appears on the screen. My headunit doesn't support wireless AA.
