When I am using twrp recovery, it finally shows no command and then reboots into homescreen, just before the very last step of installing Super SU from SD Card. What should I do ? Go with CWM Recovery ? I will be grateful if you post with download links too !
I have already tried out many methods given on XDA. My friends have rooted their Moto E's except me. Where do I fail? Is 4.4.4 android version coming in my way to root my phone ? I have unlocked the bootloader already.

i think you need to have the stock recovery installed to flash the zip, kindly check that out

Hi all,i am new here. I have my g3 d855 for 6 months. I rooted it,i have supersu, android 5.0,bought from UK. It was locked on vodafone,i unlocked it using imei. Now i have 2 questions:
1. If i resintall stock firmware(KK 4.4.2) ,my phone will be again locked on vodafone?
2. After i rooted it,i tried flash TWRP using flashify,it said it was successful, but when i tried enter in recovery mode,it said:boot security error. I finally succeed installing TWRP using autorec. Now,the question:can i upgrade android if i have twrp, thinking that soon android 6.0 will be out?(i will unroot it first using SuperSU settings).
I have stock 5.0 ,but if i try restore stock recovery it appears again boot error security. Thanks for patience and i hope i dont bother anyone,im still learning to use my phone
i've unloacked the bootloader of my MOTO E thn i rooted it with king root, thn i went to bootloader menu and cleared all the data including system and proceeded to install the CM 13 but the installation failed and im unable to install any ROM, the bootloader is working though, what should i do?
Check that all things are working well
Redownload the rom searching the device as "condor"
Re-flash the latest version of twrp
If this doesn't work flash the stock rom and follow an tutorial of how to root the device on the general section
May be zip curoupted

but i cant remember how to install stock rom with twrp or how to remove twrp to go stock
i updated to latest twrp and tried to install cygon 13 i get error booloader unknown?
im on stock 5.1 how do i root?
kingroot is the DEVIL it rooted my phone but installed enough junkware to choke a horse, or a MT2 in this case so i reinstalled stock
i fastboot installed recovery it shows it installs it i calick fastboot reboot and try to get into the recovery i just installed and NOTHING i cant get in it
incase anyones wondering i unlocked the bootloader like first day i got it and it shows as "unlocked" so i think bootloader is still unlocked
Stickies in the general forum are your friend. There are a couple of posts in there that will explain how to get to stock ROM then install TWRP and use it to root.

Hi XDA members!
I found a way to root my device without unlocking my bootloader.
I found a way to unlock my bootloader without wipping my data.
But now I tried to flash a custom TWRP build, but everytime I try I get an error..
Flashify not work with pie
Flashfire don't work with magisk
Flasher's not work with pie too (on new mtk device)..
I found my recovery is in "/dev/block/mmcblk0p2".
I "dd" it into "/sdcard/stockrecovery.img" but my recovery partition is stock (32mb) and the dd file is 23mb so I don't want to flash directly there I case of bootloop.
I received my new computer in around 2 week and I need custom recovery to dev something..
Someone can help me?
