Wow, I worked on it for 2 days straight, something during the building went wrong with the device sources, after building a CM rom using the same device config used for the faulty LS rom, I confirmed it was a build issue, started from scratch, did less code modifying and poof :silly:
BTW I'm assuming the glitch in the loading bar is in the LS sources?
Just built Beanstalk rom (another great rom, which pending the premission of dev), and it had no glitches.

Welcome to VanirAOSP.
Our mission is to deliver a clean optimized version of Android to as many devices as possible. This is not a kang rom. You will find versions of the features you love that we've rewritten and improved on plus a few we wrote ourselves. we've tried to acheive a more organized and cohesive setup to improve the user experience while correcting any performance regressions and improving functionality.
If you're the kind of person that needs options to change the font and color on every letter and expect the ROM to end up looking like kid's cereal box then GTFO. You will not find customizations that are done just because someone figured out how to do them. Everything in here has a purpose and is held to a high standard of coding.
General features:
stock mode - ability revert to stock AOSP code with the exception of a few custom features we chose to keep active
enhanced performance.. longer uptime with less slowdown
custom written CRON and init.d.
minor UI and graphics improvements
custom navbar, navring, and hardware key features
active notifications (improved active display + lockscreen notifications)
usability improvements like power reboot menu and sound
animation control
Improved Vanir keyboard
CM's profiles & quicksettings
additional quicksetting tiles
immersive desktop <- fully configurable immersive mode
low profile mode
statusbar mods
clock & battery mods
lockscreen blur and other mods
soon to come -> quick cam and flash notifications
busybox, embedded root, init.d, cron etc
many improvements and new features unique to vanir
more to come when i feel like updating the op

These are not device specific bugs so it will be fixed eventually in the sources
Features stated in OP will roll out slowly after the guys at vanir stabilise most devices and have more time to backport features
BTW guys, there is MultiROM support in my unofficial builds, meaning, you can use it as your 1st ROM
Wait what!
Vanir? Awesome
Themes a bit more flakey than other ROMs. Settings fell over quite a few times. Need to change DPI for landscape nav bar.
Adaptive brightness works well.
Liking the choice for another primary in multirom.

I transitioned from LiquidSmooth to this and I'm feeling it... The BT issue i had with Liquid is no more. But I hope you can apply the camera workaround in a future build because its not working yet...also, is there a adblock option hidden in the settings somewhere?, some ads are breaking thru.

Is this r8 of aosp?
It's about time!!! Really great ROM guys! I think you got it right - very fast and smooth, with good features. Thanks for all your hard work!
I get Google Play Service has stop using the slim gapps in the link in the op, used Banks instead solved the problem.

Love this rom. Didn't come to the party half baked. The goods are their.
Fanfreakingtastic !!! Downloading now
@REV3NT3CH, this ROM is too smooth! Thanks for sharing. Honored to rock your work on yet another device. You did twisted good things for my G2. Appreciated. Still setting up but the feel of the ROM is already solid - no jitters, tears or rough activity transitions pulling on the hardware. And that's after a short time of settling in. The tell tale signs of your kernel genius, no doubt. (=
Funny thing: Wasn't expecting the shock I got at the boot ani; watched the Google logo jump just before Desolation woke me up. Thought I was on my way into a bootloop. Instead, these electric splashes of color roll out & shocked my glazed 4AM eyes. Pretty sure I heard myself squeal - in fear first, then delight Lol Hey, a bold boot animation for one seriously well executed ROM! ?
Again, Thanks

Krexus-CAF is what the name implies. The Krexus unique combination of mods, on top of a clean uptodate and latest CAF source.
Built mainly of top of AOSP-CAF (with permission) and using only what's necessary from all the other great non-nexus device supporting ROMs (CyanogenMod, Dirty Unicorns, AOSPB, Tesla etc), Krexus-CAF tries to provide the maximum compatibility possible with CM-based device trees while keeping a small ROM base.
Lead Developer: @KreAch3R
About Krexus:
Krexus was born out of a simple necessity. The latest releases of stock Android (namely lollipop and marshmallow) were pretty close to my idea of a perfect android ROM, yet missing some elements, which are meant to be included in stock Android, at least for me. Starting from a clean AOSP environment, only specific features and fixes are included, which are personally tested, with one goal in mind. To create a stock like android ROM, "as it should be".
This means, and I mean it, a ROM like how stock nexus image should be, for me.
This isn't going to get bloated. Most UI "features" are already there.
This isn't going to start picking commits relentlessly, I will test them personally and only add things that 1) work like they should 2) would fit in a stock ROM.
This isn't going to be updated very quickly. Only security and bug fixes will be pushed out ASAP.
This is going to follow Google's & AOSP guidelines as closely as I can.

Hardware key config has not been added yet, since this is supposed to be a Nexus rom, and Nexus don't have that. Same goes for navbar toggle, it will be added now that we are bringing up the oneplus devices. I am not the lead dev here like on GZR roms, so i can not just push stuff

Waht is oneplus doze?
Which camera app recommended for this ROM? I have oppo camera. When I take photo with front camera the photos are upside down..Also there are lot of grains when we take photos using rear camera..pls this is not a compliant just my observation..the ROM feels good..like the minimalistic approach..

Hi Martin, thanks for building such an awesome looking ROM, couple of suggestions between the big kings on the community right now.
Between Darkobas most recent build and Sultans most recent build being the 16th I think,
Camera comparisons, I believe using Sultans Camera (average shutter, great quality) would be a great way to go, compared to Darkobas' (quick shutter, not as good quality) so if you could get your hands on that would be awesome.
The screen is absolutely beautiful and well lit with a superb color match on the new sultan build as well, if you could get that on here that would be astounding.
I'm not trying to fanboy, just giving suggestions, sorry if I sound rude/intrusive.
Being AOSP, with CAF kernel, this should provide greater battery life then most roms out there. Will definitely keep an eye on this ROM.
Really like the idea behind the DozeOnePlus, that's pretty freaking awesome!
Testing this out and love how smooth and basic it is will give a battery report soonish. Is there anyway to add a camera apk to it.

@martinusbe kudos man!! what a rom!! i haven't used such a decent rom with so much features, debloated and yet such an awesome battery backup in a long time
just one request, if you could add an option to disable hardware keys backlight.. thanks again! peace
edit: just read the recent posts and it is yet to be added.. got it
