Hi there i cant transfer rar files from my SG Alpha to my pc its 3 files all have 4 gb
I tryed to reintall drivers,kies,diffrent port,oter cable,puling the battery out. Nothing works

O and i cant use airdroid or simmilar
I mangent to dix this by istalling winrar on my phone and compressing rar files with to zip

best should be to unpack the rar-files on your PC (with WinRAR), afterwards install the software (formerly in the rar-file)via Activesync.
If you have a cab-file in your former rar-file you might copy this directly on your PPC to install it directly from there (disadvantage on WM2003(SE)): will be installed into main memory, you have no choice to select your SD-Card when using this way)

CAB files are similar to that of a ZIP/RAR file where you compress and store things into a single file. In the case of pocketpc, the CAB files are used as a SETUP.EXE , where is has all the necessary instructions and stuff to install the program. I guess.

A "rar" file is a compressed archive, like a ZIP file.

I open it with winrar and i cannot find any .apk file on it, i only see some meta-inf folder and .dex .xml and .arsc file.

i do it this way !! u can either do it thru any file managers thru ur phone ( which is always better) or thru ur system.
just change the .rar /.zip to .apk
eg:- angrybirds.rar to angrybirds.apk !! simple!!

Good day,
I have some corrupted files when trying to unrar a .rar file within the tab and now i couldn't delete the file as it keep reappearing even after deleted. The .rar works fine in pc and I'm able to extract the files from it. Possibly due to the files are not in English.
I tried mounting it as USB to PC and the file won't appear in Window's even thou with hidden file options on.
Any ways for me to force delete a file in GT 10.1 like how we did in windows using cmd?

I Recently downloaded a Application, which has a Obb file of 1.3gb, in 3 rar parts.
The problem is when i try and extract the obb files from the 3 rar files, they extract individually, my question is
HOW TO MERGE THE 3 INDIVIDUAL OBB FILES INTO A SINGLE OBB FILE ??
P.s- I use winzip

Hmmm...there no apps that have obb files...only games have obb files....
regarding merging them, use Winrar but make sure all 3 rar files is in the same folder before you try to extract it....if winrar didn't work then use hjsplit....
Hi i been wondering how to properly extract .bin files only using android. I tried to extract one psx game which is in bin format. I tried apps like rar, 7zip zarchiver and similiar extract apps with no luck. Any help. Thanks and srry for english
