Did you even read the tutorial??, there clearly states where to download the files,
thats why you bricked your phone, you have to readdd everything and understand things before going up
I hope this options works for you !!
Hey, read this options to solve this problem. The second option Worked for me
1. if you´re phone doesn´t turn on and the screen not response maybe the problem is a hardbrick,
2.if you´re galaxy doesnt turn on but in the screen appears icons, the trouble is softbrick.
1.The solution for a hardbrick is a JTAG, this is a used method by Tecnics
2. The solution for a softbrick is a reinstall , just put the galaxy in download mode and install a official firmware with odin and done
after downloading a pit file it works
thank you very much

You've bricked your device. Congratulations.
Only option is to get a JTAG repair or replace motherboard.
Why on earth did you partition your device? You have probably used a incompatible PIT file. Maybe next time you will be more careful or research things properley before attempting to do this kind of thing.
i dunno what is it with people and pit files. whenever i see a pit file i go like "hell no".
that's maybe because i've read a couple of threads like this.

ok, my wifes s3 kept freezing about 8 times a day. so i rooted it, which went fine. then i decided to put android revolution on it, at the same time i downloaded android revolution for my galaxy nexus. i put the galaxy nexus version on her phone by mistake, although it still installed and booted fine. when we woke up the next morning it had rebooted and was stuck on the boot logo. i tried to recover the phone using odin but it says there is no pit file found.
i have downloaded the relevent pit files, but odin keeps getting stuck on get pit for mapping.
could someone please help me with this, any useful comments would be appreciated.

could anyone point me to a hot to guide on manually re partitioning the pit via cmd?
My phone just suddenly restarted and is now stuck at the Samsung logo (black background). I tried to enter recovery mode (power+home+vol up) as suggested on other threads but the phone is still suck on the samsung logo. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Right I've just found this after searching. http://pc-updates.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/how-to-solve-galaxy-s3-stuck-at-boot.html
Will this work or shall i try something else?
Does anyone know how I can out which official ROM I need? My S3 is not a UK model, it came with an European 2-pin power charger.
Search your s3's official stock rom in google. You should find the bundle packs and find you country.
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Y
Creeds Rom-stock kernel
I've started with ODIN but I get an error message saying there is no PIT repartition. I have had a look around and found a PIT file (GT-I9300_mx_20120329) but now ODIN is stuck at Setupconnection.
Any help would be appreciated?

Probable initial failure qualifys to repair under warranty PIT partition damaged / erased .
As you do not have a clue i would take to the service centre before you damage the phone and void warranty .
Its not any PIT it requires the correct PIT file for the phone .
