gt-9300 gms bricked - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

ok, my wifes s3 kept freezing about 8 times a day. so i rooted it, which went fine. then i decided to put android revolution on it, at the same time i downloaded android revolution for my galaxy nexus. i put the galaxy nexus version on her phone by mistake, although it still installed and booted fine. when we woke up the next morning it had rebooted and was stuck on the boot logo. i tried to recover the phone using odin but it says there is no pit file found.
i have downloaded the relevent pit files, but odin keeps getting stuck on get pit for mapping.
could someone please help me with this, any useful comments would be appreciated.

Stuck at Download mode. Please Help!

Hi everyone, I was trying to flash eugene373's Froyo Rom that does not brick and after I followed all his directions and started the Odin process. Odin got stuck at cache.rfs part. I have tried everything that I found on XDA to be helpful but still nothing, I'm still stuck at Download mode.
Here are some of the things I tried:
1)Reinstalling Samsung drivers
2)Went to safe mode in Windows 7 to make sure driver signing was ignored
3)Tried fixing the phone by installing JAC's Stock 2.1 ..
Sometimes the Odin process gets passed the cache.rfs part and gets stuck at factoryfs.rfs
I have been trying to fix the phone for about 6 hours now, still no luck.. Please help me fix this or tell me if it's bricked. Thank you in advance.
read the got any ideas thread a couple guys above you, I gave him tips there just like the others did

[Q] Odin Failing Recovery Every Time AT&T Note II: Please Help

Have an AT&T Galaxy Note II.
It was rooted and there were some strange problems happening with the phone from time to time so I decided to go ahead and unroot it.
As I have done before, I decided to restore the Galaxy Note II to its original firmware.
I got the AT&T SGH-I317 firmware from Sammobile.
Loaded Odin in Windows. Loaded the downloaded TAR file.
Upon hitting start the recovery would go about halfway then suddenly FAIL.
Tried it on a different computer. Same thing.
Now I cannot boot my phone. When I do, it goes into a firmware error mode and suggests KIES recovery.
KIES cannot even see my phone at this point.
Anyone have any suggestions? I am in the process of redownloading the firmware file, but I am guessing that is not the problem.
Thanks

S3 bricked?

My phone just suddenly restarted and is now stuck at the Samsung logo (black background). I tried to enter recovery mode (power+home+vol up) as suggested on other threads but the phone is still suck on the samsung logo. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Right I've just found this after searching. http://pc-updates.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/how-to-solve-galaxy-s3-stuck-at-boot.html
Will this work or shall i try something else?
Does anyone know how I can out which official ROM I need? My S3 is not a UK model, it came with an European 2-pin power charger.
Search your s3's official stock rom in google. You should find the bundle packs and find you country.

Creeds Rom-stock kernel
I've started with ODIN but I get an error message saying there is no PIT repartition. I have had a look around and found a PIT file (GT-I9300_mx_20120329) but now ODIN is stuck at Setupconnection.
Any help would be appreciated?

Probable initial failure qualifys to repair under warranty PIT partition damaged / erased .
As you do not have a clue i would take to the service centre before you damage the phone and void warranty .
Its not any PIT it requires the correct PIT file for the phone .
