What Module Hides the Status Bar? - Xposed Framework Modules

Can you guys suggest an Xposed module to auto hide the status bar in all apps and the home screen? I want to also be able to show it when I swipe on it too.
Just to let you know, I got a rooted Samsung Galaxy S3 on 4.3 with Xposed Framework.

I dont use it, so dont know, but isnt that 'expanded desktop' mode? Do you even need exposed for that? I know gravity box you can turn it on if your phone doesnt have it, and I'm sure Advanced Power Menu has an expanded mode on/off option...

Hi robneymcplum. I'm downloading Gravity Box for Jelly Bean. I'll let you know if I'm able to get this feature. I'll also check out Advanced Power Menu from Xposed.
Expanded Desktop Mode is only for Kitkat and above. I got Jelly Bean on my Galaxy S3 (tmobile) so it doesnt have it. FYI, Theres no Kitkat update for my phone since Tmobile ended all updates for it.
I'm on a rooted Jelly Bean stock rom. I dont know if I can install a custom Kitkat or Lollipop rom. I read that you need a stock Kitkat rom (rooted, of course) to install a custom Kitkat rom. But as I said, Tmobile ended support and wont provide a Kitkat update. I dont know if this is accurate. But if you think I can install it, please let me know.
Thanks!!!!!!!!!1

I'm on jellybean, my gravity box has it, under 'display' first one there. And also in 'power tweaks' its the sixth one down.

Broken Green Unlock Button

Hello
My Unlock Button is broken. Last time I install app named "screen lock" and after that my button crashed. I uninstall this app. But when I hide status bar or have fullscreen app, unlock button is too long and inscription "unlock" is too much left. In fact I see only "ock".
Can I fix this manually or update to android 2.3.3 with Kies will repair this?? Because I like to use Launcher 7 with windows phone 7 status bar.
My phone Ace with android 2.2.1 without brand. No root.
Try to install the First-UA rom its gingerbread based and its really cool and fast and you can still instal the Launcher that you like

How stable is the firmware 4.0.4 for I9100G

Hi
I have a 4.0.3 france firmware installed samsung I9100G.But lately the no lockscreen problem (holding the power button will not bring the options and just shuts the phone off),ringtone and a few other problems started to annoy me really bad.
I'm thinking to install the 4.0.4 german firmware from samfirmware but how stable is it? is there any problem with the 4.0.4 or anything special i should know about it?
i have reflashed the 4.0.3 but those problems didnt go away.
thanks for any helps.
Go back to GB.For me that is more stable than ICS or JB.

If the firmware is official, it should be stable. So, your choice: or GB, or ICS.

updated to 4.0.4 but nothing changed.
ok here are the problems:
- The power button options are not showing up. if i hold the power button it just closes the phone directly.
- The screen lock doesnt work. Wont lock the screen with any option there.
- The sim lock doesnt work. If i put the sim lock on (put a lock on the sim) the phone starts normally but wont let me call or text. So i have to disable the lock on the sim to make it work normal.
Now these are the problems i have seen so far. When i got the phone it was GB and there was absolutely no prob until updating to ICS. So whats the suggestion, should i give a try on custom firmware ICS or go back to official GB? if you say custom firmware then which one?

It's always recommended to perform a factory reset after upgrading your phone software

For me the samsung stock roms are like windows o/s.
GB=xp
Ics=vista
Jb=w7
A crude comparison......but vista was a pile of crap.....

1. If your phone is not rooted, root.
2. Create file /efs/imei/keystr, containing the word ON.
3. Make sure the file has rw-r--r--, or 644 permissions.
4. ...
5. Profit!

ok thank you very much bro. that did it
i first rooted the phone from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1679778 with the option 2.
then used this little guide:
- Download "Terminal Emulator" app from market
- open it
- type into the command:
su
echo -n ON > /efs/imei/keystr
sync
Go to home, force close your terminal app, shut your screen off, and when your turn it back on your lock screen should? be there.
Obviously you must be rooted the "su" command
And for Signal Problem Simply do not put any pin on your sim ,,,

How to disable device administrators via ADB without root?

In my N7, after applying the OTA from 5.0.2 to 5.1 , the tablet is "semi bricked" since it can't boot into the system (well gets into a systemui crash loop not showing anything on the screen but the power off menu..).
I remember that I had an app called "Lockscreen Policy":
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wordpress.chislonchow.deviceadminkeyguard&hl=es
Which did some stuff on 4.2 about hiding lockscreen widgets or something like that.
Now I think this is the app that made this mess, and I want to uninstall it via ADB.
The problem is that it gives out an error saying it's a device administrator (it was indeed)
adb uninstall com.wordpress.chislonchow.deviceadminkeyguard
Failure [DELETE_FAILED_DEVICE_POLICY_MANAGER]
I am not rooted and can't root here without unlocking the bootloader and wiping, which I try to evade. Since I am no root, I can't just pd disable it or something like that..
Anyone could help me? how can I "deactivate" this device manager so I can uninstall it?
Thanks in advance!
Please, can anyone help me with this?
I'm on a urge to deactivate a device manager in ADB and im not rooted (the Ota for 5.1 in my N7 made it semi brick since an app with device manager (lockscreen policy) makes Ui crash it in a loop before it even gets to the lockscreen, so it's absolutely unusable..)

BTW if that screen lock isn't a system app than you can uninstall it with safe mode

How? If you can't interact with the UI, how do you turn safe mode on ADB so it lets you uninstall it?

If this screen lock comes built in then safe mode won't help you... but if it's a third party app you can boot into safe mode with a button combination (most samsungs it's the power and volume up and middle button) and then you should be able to remove that device admin...

No. If the app makes the lockscreen UI crashing (like the one that caused me the problem), safe mode just adds a "safe mode" label in the lowest left part of the screen, it doesn't fix any UI stuff or changes anything . It's useless..

Have you succeeded?
Maybe try to disable using adb?
Even with adb, you needed root in order to fix the problem. It was so retarded, an app made the tablet semi brick after an official OTA..
Try to factory reset but think before you do...

Problems with automatic hibernation service in MM

hi, I am running latest version of greenify (2.8 beta 1), have donation version enabled + root operating mode (i am rooted indeed).
I am running sony concept MM rom (it is a aosp like rom by sony, so no stamina mode or other features by sony, it is mostly aosp marshmallow)
when I try to assign hibernation + lock screen action to a nova launcher gesture, it doesn't work. I can see the toast notification saying greenify was granted root access though. and when I started greenify, I got this message
in LP it worked fine even if stamina was enabled..
I did click on troubleshooting to investigate about the problem, but can't find out what is happening, as there is no stamina mode at all in the rom I am running.
no xposed installed of course in MM (is this the problem maybe?)
I have greenify enabled in accessibility settings EDIT: and greenify is set as device adminstrator in security settings
I don't see anywhere any permissions to enable for granting greenify lock screen permissions
can you guys please help in fixing this? really miss this feature.. TIA! :fingers-crossed:
