Please admins do some cleaning here. A lot of tutorials is very bad ripoff of another tutorials.
I my case I can not find one logically structured tread with general info about G2 flashing, SW versions and so on.
A lot of people try to make a money, by giving wrong information an later ask money for help to unbrick others phones. This is just terrible!!!
I AM ANGRY DUE TO BAD TUTORIAL I BRICKED MY PHONE REAL BAD.
Please ,clean or make new rules for comment rights, to help other not brick their phones!!!!
Hi
I think problem is not tutorials, but people who used first random tut.
Im sorry you bricked your device, but root G2 is really easy and install twrp.
For root u can use DP Tools from android g2 section, and twrp u can get with autorec from playstore.
That's all, if u wanna use customized roms, u will need install Jelly Bean bootloader, it support kitkat/lollipop/aosp roms. LG G2 is unbrickable by software, every state can be repaired. So, search tutorial for you to unbrick device and use my steps to have full unlocked device and feel free to mods and roms
I just unbricked my G2 after 6 weeks so ask if you need anything to help you.

Nope. G2 community is so bad. No one give solutions, only ask for money , even steel credit card date. I love the phone, but the community is just terrible.
It is quite often that I found solution tread, first tree pages of comments are "nice work" , "good job" and so on , after fifth page real users actually give negative feedback. Now I am reading tread with 77 pages. I am in the middle and I still do not understand is it safe to use tutorial. And there are a lot of treads like this. XDA should give some rating possibility, to delete treads with wrong or not working properly solutions.
I am very disappointed in XDA.

I can provide you with tons of treads in G2 sections, that is outdated or do not work from the begging.
I am reading these in terrible english written treads for straight two days and still nothing that wort been read!
As a matter of fact I am not a noob or total beginner ether....
You show u are, if no one before cried about G2 section everyone can mods, but not u, why? We should ask just u, this is not freakin magic

So what doesn't work? Most of the things just do work normally but you need ofcourse to have the right bootloader version/modem just like on other devices. English isn't the main language for everybody so their English isn't perfect and so is mine but your's isn't 100% correct either. But they do contribute to the community and that breaks the barrier of languages.

MixXx2005 I don't know which threads you are in but I never had anybody ask me for money or steal credit card date? There might be people asking for money or idk exactly what all but that might be going on in the background especially. As some people brick their phone others want to unbrick it and ask money for shipping/not trying to destroy it. If you want to do it free then you have to do it yourself probably. The G2 community does give solutions but there were already so many Q&A threads or people who all ask the same question/don't read properly the threads that some people just don't react anymore.
I had read many unbricking/root tutorials when I just came to this community several months ago already and everything worked fine. Also the hardbrick fix method worked fine for me.
Btw if somebody steals your credit card date then why did you gave them it all? If you have those kinds of problems or want to report something about outdated content then just react on the thread, Contact the OP, and or in cases of scams and those stuff contact a moderator. Moderator and members don't always have time to check or everything is alright so people need to report the problems.
So about "I AM ANGRY DUE TO BAD TUTORIAL I BRICKED MY PHONE REAL BAD. "
You really have to read carefully for which G2 variant is was meant, it doesn't matter if you are experienced or not experienced people also make mistakes just like that I hardbricked my G2 after I left myself on an unrooted rom with no download mode and recovery.
If you can say the problem you have like what kind of bricks, more details then I could might help you for free. The thing it might only costs is time but that's worth it if you fix your brick into an working G2.
I will try to reply asap but school and some other stuff in life might make me forget this so if you have a question please quote or mention my name as I would only then receive a notification about it.
EDIT: I read your thread now about your qh_usb brick and I read the tutorial. The tutorial isn't misleading or whatsoever there could have been an issue due to drivers/binaries and or communication between your device and fastboot itself. The tutorial was also meant for if you had the same message on your screen.
Btw in which mode are you? QHUSB_BULK 9006 or 9008? About the exclamation marks do you have the proper drivers for it? You might need to install the drivers manually with device manager. If you can mention which mode then I could perhaps help. Maybe not immediately but I could probably help you to unbrick your phone .

Thanks for your replay.
After all day of reading tons of useless information finally unbrick my phone. Now it is fully functional again.
I will explain why I am mad.
1st after official update my phone start to act weird (now i know what caused it, and it do not matter), then after I try to flash stock FW I stuck at LG logo. I found two different tutorials and both of them showed contradictory steps, I decided to follow one of them and like I said get error and booting till LG logo.
Next due to bad tutorial I erase all partitions with fastboot. But in the tut. was not said anything about proper way to do it. So after that tut. I get real brick. Still everyone can brick their phone following it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/mega-tut-how-to-fix-bricked-lg-g2-t3055033 (3. step - how can I know that I should modify provided code with my .img file path? Where is something said about it?)
Then I read FAMOUS "LG G2 is UNBRICKABLE NOW! [FIX REAL HARD BRICK]" . After that I tried to short out test pins. Again I found contradictory informations about test point locations.
To get any life in my dead phone ,I try them both, and luckily I did not damaged eMMC.
There are a lot of wrong information how you should act in different situations in these topics, and these things can permanently destroy your hardware and there are no highlights or any warning about it.
So after qh_usb brick win 7 was unable to detect drivers, but somehow randomly after several hours of search, I found correct Qualqomm drivers, after that the device manager showed connection with 9008 mode brick. Then after I read whole
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/fix-unbrick-lg-g2-stuck-qualcomm-hs-usb-t2933830/page42
5th page before end ,give me right tool to fix my phone. tons of contradictory info there - truly TONS.
I can give you treads , where people do not give right topics, but instead give their FB and later ask for money.
Also I can give you proofs about those who said that they will help you for free in TeamViewer and quietly install keyloggers.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/fix-unbrick-lg-g2-stuck-qualcomm-hs-usb-t2933830/ (read this tread , somewhere in middle of it, there are a lot of proofs)
It took me around 15 h with intense bulls*it filtering to get my phone in order.
And the most annoying thing , is that this all, what I describe previously , could be done in 15 min, if there would be ONE normal tread.
If all other/bad/misleading treads would be deleted, then my troubles would not been started in 1st place.
But like I said before this G2 community is terrible from beginners point of view.
Ok here is one thing
1. before doing anything search ( I agree that you will find a lot of outdated threads -- not useless but mostly outdated)
2. There is a help section with people who will understand where the error is and try to help you out
3. Most of the people here ask a question, solve the issue and just write: "fixed", without writing how and possibly contributing
Honestly, If I were a mod I would just delete their useless threads, always thinking of themselves
There isn't any magic tool that will fit everyones needs, people who are new just click random
I hope you fixed the device

Thanks, everything is good now. But I disagree - there are a lot of wrong and often contradicting treads and a lot of people that make their salary due to this.
I think admins should ban a lot of users here and also implement some kind of tread and user ranking. Because there are also people that do not know anything( I my point of view, they are just helpful fools ,that do not understand what they can cause with their misleading information) ,but they tried to help by just posting random s*it they were hear somewhere else. And I as desperate beginner can make much worse brick by following the advice.

I don't believe this happened. There would be more people involved in such opinions then.
Tbh the thread name of yours is kind of embarasing for people who create free stuff for everyone.
If you have any issues with any user on xda there are mods and admins and you can report them.

Odd.
Because I always found a solution for every problem I had, got an answer for every question. Even the most ridiculous ones.
So I disagree that the community is bad, quite the contrary. Every bit of info is here. You just have to read and understand what you've read.
And people here are nothing but helpful (most of them, at least).
P.S. as long as your G2 boots up, it is not bricked and it can be salvaged.

My bad, i should have mentioned that ive already used the notorious search button, which apparently leads to ALOT of DIFFERENT threads about the same topic, hence my question, "which is the ULTIMATE thread for noobs"
Im sorry, but I dont know which is the right thread and not, if i did, i wouldnt bother asking that question, would i?
In theory its just downloading a file, unzip it, connect phone to computer and execute, right?
http://youtu.be/vhSSmdqAXRM
However, after a long life, my experience is that it would be convenient to know more than just the action itself, cause there are always traps, which isnt always mentioned or described in those threads cause they take for granted that people who want to do this already know everything about it.
If there are risks involved doing it, like choosing the wrong vers, having the wrong bb etc, i want to learn and be aware of it BEFORE i attempt or even consider doing it, cause i dont want to brick my phone.
Unfortunatelly i have a daytime job, and not much time left for reading through endless threads and comments, thats why i addressed the experienced members in here that already know what im looking for, and can in his, or her way save me for reading all the stuff that i dont need to know, or are irrelevant in my case
Btw, i got a GT-I9300 with 4.1.2 - BB I9300XXEMB5
Dont mean to be rude, but sharing is caring, and i would love to help others in the same way sharing my knowledge, if i could, instead of just inform people about the search function... its getting old.
Im a little tired of all the wise guys in here sitting on their horses pretending to know everything, but isnt willing to help or share in a nice way, instead just being arrogant in a patronizing way.
I can assure you, if you threat people more friendly, people will show more gratefulness in return, and if you dont, u get ungrateful speaches like this in return instead
A good atmosphere is much easier to achieve if you include people, rather than exclude them....
Hope i dint offend you with my "speach"

there is no "right thread" and they are all full of various things you could do with knowing. there are a lot of people who come here expecting a quick and easy "which is the ULTIMATE thread for noobs" - there is none, they're all relivant.

unfortunately, i also have a day time job (oh what a chore hey?) most of the people, including the devs and the more experienced members here have jobs too, i doubt they all came here with instant vast knowledge on how to flash and all of it's woes, i also doubt they just came here and asked someone to pick out all the best bit for them. I bet they read all the posts, dammit they made the posts, the roms you will use, the rooting procedures. everything on here - for you to say "save me for reading all the stuff that i dont need to know, or are irrelevant in my case" is just being ignorant, as i've said everything is relevant, it seems that you want to know everything and share the knowledge but don't want to read about it - it's the only way to learn
Btw, i got a GT-I9300 with 4.1.2 - BB I9300XXEMB5

how do you expect to share knowledge, if you don't read all the info and just get told what you want to know?
Im a little tired of all the wise guys in here sitting on their horses pretending to know everything, but isnt willing to help or share in a nice way, instead just being arrogant in a patronizing way.
i'm pretty sure all the "wise guys" on here are fed up with noobs (I by the way, still consider myself a noob) coming here and asking for things to be given to them on a silver platter! we/they are not being patronizing or arrogant, they are simply telling you to do your research - just like they did.
I can assure you, if you threat people more friendly, people will show more gratefulness in return, and if you dont, u get ungrateful speaches like this in return instead
i think you meant treat not "threat" oh and thanks for the assurance . i'm sorry you are being ungrateful just because someone (I) told you to read up! - it's probably not the best way to get help when you refer to the members as "wise guys" "sitting on their high horses" "being arrogant in a patronizing way" - that's how you portray friendliness?

I'm sorry you feel the way you do, but i'm not being an A$$ - i'm telling you that what you need to know is all in those posts.
i'm done
Of course mate, i didnt expect you to read for me, lol, but i was hoping to get pointed to the "most relevant" thread about what i wanted to know, and probably one single thread would be more than enough info to read up.
Forums like these are getting out of proportions after some years, and sometimes impossible to navigate through, and why shouldnt i be allowed to ask for help or shortcuts? Who made up that rule?
If i had been here two years longer than you, doesnt mean i need to hold back any info cause i had to learn everything the hard way, instead i would gladly at least guide people in the right direction.
Ive been in allot of different forums over the past years with different kinds if subjects, but never a forum like this where people are so grumpy and very little welcoming and including, there are no "welcome to the forum buddy, i will try my best to guide you in the right direction"
Eventually one will find the way on its own, but sometimes its nice to be lead onto the right path.
I totally agree, and i ALWAYS try to find the answers im looking for through the search function before i ask, but when i stall, i post in a friendly and humble way like i tried to in my original post.
If all the answers to your questions was to read through every topic, there would be vert little activity in here, but then again, maybe easier to browse through.
A forum where its "stupid" or not "allowed" to ask questions is to me more equal to Google... yea, Google is your friend, but sometimes you wish to know more spesific things...
And thanks to you too, im not rooting my phone, cause im not able to find the proper info im looking for... and gives me one more reason to get back to my "boring" Iphone again... but hey, life goes on anyway... :good:

I don't want to sound arrogant or anything and I am always happy to help, but if you do not find the guide for rooting... it seems you didn't follow the advice given to you in the posts earlier.
That are stickies in the general section which will help you to understand the basics of rooting, flashing etc. And in addition you have tons of YouTube guides out there.
Hence I wish you good luck, anything is out there for you to learn and share later on, just a little bit of effort is needed to get there.

Finally someone who understands where im going with this, thanks... And that was the intention with this thread, to get a pointer to the one or maybe two or even three or four threads that covers the most essential things... I dont know whats essential or not (yet), i can surely read dozens of how to's but i still dont know if its the right solution for my phone and the vers i have.
A bit like jb an iphone, just download this and do that... "oh, you had that bb vers" "thats the only one thats not compatible with this vers" sorry u bricked your phone.
But it feels like its just, if u got the balls, or know everything about it, just do it, or everything is at your own risk, its a hit or miss thing...
I dont think i will root my phone after all, cause there are so much info on how to do it that differs from eachother, and nobody cant seem to tell which thread is the right one for MY phone...
But thanks anyway, to those that actually tried to point me there...

Sorry you are wrong a day or two actually reading the basic faqs and guides is the starting point that you don't want to start with .This is after all a developers forum that has no place spoon feeding those that dont want to learn .
Their is no best the basic stickied faqs and guides all say the same as do the instructions for each method .
The confusion lies in answers to posts like this where xx say this way is best and b say no use x .Unfortunately due to multiple same posts it is not that easy to navigate the forum but the answer to that is for noobs to bother reading the facts and guides before posting repetitive questions .
I would in your case read the instructions and use CF Root method .

Hello there. Basically, I was on the newest (I think) Alliance Rom with Dorimanx kernel for s2. however, it began to get quite buggy, and I tried to flash a new kernel onto it. Siyah. then I tried to flash Cyanogenmod onto it. Restarted, phone won't load past the siyah logo. But I get the siyah recovery menu thing still. But when I try to install the cyanogenmod zip, it fails. I have no other roms on my sd card, or kernels, for that matter.
Please can somebody advise me what to do. I need my phone for work in 5 hours! I was thinking a fix possibly with Odin? Although, I'm guessing if I wiped the phone, kies will no longer be on there. Not sure what it means for it.
thanks.
It's Jellybean by the way
1) Use a more descriptive title than 'HELP !'. Many people will ignore your thread/not read it for that alone (which means you might miss out on help).
2) If you've still got CWRecovery, you still should be able to flash something without resorting to Odin. I would suggest perhaps you're not following the instructions on the first page of the CM thread to the letter. Try it again.
If you really can't flash anything in recovery & still have bootloop (I.E recovery seems broken), get a stock rom from Samfirmware, flash it with Odin = clean slate & you can then re-root your phone & have another go at flashing whatever rom/kernel you want to use.
Thanks, and thanks for telling me about the title, I guess, my apologies, but urgency is urgency.
I can't get any zip files onto my phone or the SD card. so flashing from the phone is pretty much a no.
I can try Odin, however, I barely know what it is. Is anybody willing to just tell me what to click?
No spoon feeding allowed mate. No one will hold your hand and tell you what button to click. I may as well fly over there and do it myself.
If you want to know about Odin flashing click the link in my signature and look at the section on how to flash.
But, I still don't think you need to use Odin. In CWM recovery, Mount usb storage, connect to pc, transfer rom.zip onto phone sd from pc, unmount usb & then flash rom. Done.

Okay.. Seems a bit odd, being a help section, in a forum. I just figured since I'm dealing with something that could potentially break/brick my phone, I would rather do it right as opposed to wrong, considering I have never done it myself before.
Thanks though, I didn't actually know I could mount it without actually booting the phone. I'll try that.

Yet you still haven't changed it. Urgency may well be urgency, but you either want to make that small change & potentially get the help you need if you get stuck further, or you don't. No skin off any of our noses either way *shrugs*.
P.S - Forum rules are forum rules.
Edit - And the reason Hopper said what he said - this may well be a Q&A forum, but that doesn't mean we regurgitate stuff that's been asked/answered thousands of times over the past two years for any n00b who thinks they deserve same.
I'm not even being harsh with what I say. I didn't write out the steps, but I did give you a direct link to a place which lists the steps. That's a legitimate A to your Q.

Just a few more that just say "help". I can see that it is not posing a ****ing problem. Not to mention (may be my fault) but I don't see any way to change the title.
As far as I'm concerned mate, I wanted help with something, went to the HELP section of a FORUM, and got help, so you can go **** yourself if you have a problem with that. I don't go to forums to just chat about my day. If what I did ask was too much for you, then just let someone help who is more helpful than you. I didn't ask anybody to troll the net for files, or anything of the sort, I asked for legitimate help with something I didn't know how to do.
Either way, I've managed to fix the problem, so no more needs to be done.
Thank you to those who gave me advice.

Please show respect to senior members. They have been here longer than you, obviously dealt with problems much similar to your and want you to search for yourself, that is why the search buttons are there. Did you watch 'I am a noob in XDA Developers' video?
And you obviosuly have no idea why they say this, but it's because you will learn for yourself. In near future you will search and find answers yourself if you start now (which they are trying to make you do) other than just relying on other people to do your work for you. That's not the way XDA developers work.
So rather then being disrespectful and throwing insults at them, you should thank them

Yes - I appreciate the fact that I was helped the amount I was, but I could say the same. Is that the best way to treat new members? I have already apologized twice for my mistakes, at least, and I STILL have people telling me I'm doing things wrong. Also, it's not like I haven't thanked them. I think I thanked them at the end of nearly every post. Anything else to pick at?
I'm not trying to disrespect - just trying to prove my point. If you didn't want to help me, don't, just don't ***** about the fact that I wanted help. :/
My problem is fixed, that's all that matters.
thanks again.

Yes it's the right way to treat new members.
You are doing things wrong, respecting other members is a rule of XDA and you're not doing it - so you're doing it wrong.
Good you thanked. But was i necessary to disrespect. Yes you were disrespecting.
Prove your point? That it's okay to spoonfeed newbies and making them think that they wont have to do anything, just ask and wait?! No that's not right, as already stated.
You wanted to help how exactly? To tell us that we should do it 'the way you like it'? No that's wrong, accept it!
Dont come here and try to flame, there's a rule against that. Take you crap elsewhere, cause with that attitude you probably wont get much help around here or anywhere else for that matter.
This is my last post and visit here, so dont even bother commenting if there anything about me.
Hello Everyone.
I have an Z2 tablet which i love very much, and yesterday i unlocked my bootloader and installed CWM. Everything was woorking great until i booted up z2 first the sony logo came up and then xperian logo and after xperian it freezes and turn off and on.... boot loop ish. Then i tried to make a hard reset , didn't work. After Hard reset i turned it on and i'm stuck on SONY logo. I have the SGP521 WIFI + LTE.
Ps also tried wipe data and stuff from CWM didn't work

Aaargh, it is unnerving that recently the forum members have to deal again and again with people who don't read properly and flash wrong kernels.
OK, LAST TIME:
You must first know which firmware (.36, .55, .69 or .402) you have on your tablet.
Then you must flash the right kernel for that firmware (and for your device, be it WiFi or LTE) (which you obviously didn't) - yes, there are different ones, and it all is written already in the CWM thread.

Is that constant "newbee bashing" really necessary ?
YOU know where to read, YOU know how to do things. Others don't.
YOU may find important information at the first glance. Others don't.
YOU may succeed extracting just the right information from a hell of technical terms. Others don't.
Remember that old song from "Sesame Street" ? - In German, because you're German: "Wer nicht fragt, bleibt dumm." - "You won't learn anything if you don't ask."
Now people ask because they need help. So help them or let it be - but don't bash them for asking. Please.
We're here for helping each other, aren't we ?

Rather ask: Are these constant posts and constant new threads of people who do complicated, potentially dangerous things without proper reading and proper understanding (and then crying for help) really necessary?
For many, many years tech people had a slogan: "RTFM!" A very true statement!
And this applies here, too.
And it's in the forum rules of XDA that a user, before asking or requesting something, should first properly read through the forums whether his question has been answered already.
Someone who doesn't have a couple of spare hours (which are at least needed) to read the forums and to get knowledge how things are done and to double-check and again double-check before going into action simply either should refrain from things like unlocking, rooting, modding etc. or should at least not AGAIN try to cut corners when something went wrong by simply posting "HALP! BRICKED! WHAT SHALL I DO?", but at least THEN start to RTFM.
This is why people like Franco of Franco Kernel SEEM "rude" when they write in their OPs that you should inform yourself properly or otherwise shouldn't install the kernel or at least should refrain from "HALP!" posts or such. They are simply fed up with that. Understandable.
Or, another comparison and even with more negative consequences: Someone releases, say, a root app in the play store and gets tons of one-star reviews just because people with unrooted devices who can't read complain "Wohoo, the app doesn't work at all! Crap!"

In my defense i looked up on Google and couldn't find any solution. And because it's pretty new it's really hard to find ANY solutions. (I DID SOLVE MY PROBLEM AT LAST, WITH SOME HELP FROM FRIENDLY XDA MEMBERS)
XDA is my home when i haven't found any solutions, members are always nice telling me where to or how to fix things. They even do point out nicely if i haven't checked XDA. You do the opposite and attack on new people. :/ Oh well just a reminder don't make people feel bad because they don't know.
I'm searching and can't find the answer. How did you solved it? It would help others if you share your solution.
Thanks

So someone said that if your device dies it can still be detected by adb or something , could someone explain those steps or add in something else I can do to save this kindle.
Heres how I got it bricked.
I changed my build.prop and I forgot to set the permissions to 644, then after shutting down my kindle, it did nothing but pop up to the gray screen and then straight to the black screen.
Same here, but mine seems to have lost root in the process: when I try to mount and chmod through adb, I get "Operation not permitted" and "read-only file system".

+1. I thought I did it NEasy way I used Rom manager lite to edit prop build just scroll down edit all lines properly reboot you don't have to mess with the permissions the application takes care of it...worked great. Probably could've used any prop build editing app.

The Amazon site go to Kindle troubleshooting and it will show a place to leave your phone number if you would like them to call you they call you you answer you tell him it will not boot correctly and they will send you a refurbished unit. That is of course as long as it is not a black listed unit and you are the original purchaser so on and etc. or just be patient since you are the one that messed up your unit and do the responsible thing by fixing it yourself technically I would believe this would be a false warranty claim but do it at your own choosing and by the way they are making tons of project progress in the recovery of this device hopefully we will have something very very soon and you if you are still on the old firmware you may even get a full bootloader unlock.. Good luck whichever direction you do choose to go. just remember and heed the warnings on your next new device so you don't end in the same situation immediately like so many others here have done.
This will be a launching pad for tips and recommendations for members negotiating long threads and reading pertinent information. I read many posts with members stating that the thread is just too long to read. Then using that as an excuse for not reading at all. Please add your ideas and methods for reading.
The first thing I do when looking at a new thread is read the OP. I always check dates and also the date of the latest iteration of the ROM, kernel, etc. after reading what the author wrote about their thread I'll jump to the end of the thread and read backwards to the date of the latest release. This gets me up to date with the latest build and any issues.
Then I'll decide if I want to flash this on my very expensive device.

Please add on your tips!
Thanks!

Hi...
The way you use to read a thread pretty much summarize the way I do it myself. I go a step further by searching within the said thread with some key words such as:
Problem, issue, brick, bricked, bootloop, etc...
I may sound paranoid, but I often browse the forum late at night and I could miss an important post due to being tired.
Cheers...
Great idea Ray. Teach by teaching, not by beating a person over the head lol
I go to the OP also and if I am interested in flashing, go back a month or two and read posts to see if things are stable or not. I also follow a bunch of Roms that I don't intent to flash or, have flashed before - just to see what kind of problems have arisen and how they were dealt with. It's a great way to pass a ride on the train or other idle time. I do think that there are many from around the world here and language might be a factor effecting their ability to read and/or search. Either way, I love this XDA, a valued tool! Too bad I came along so late in the game.

You're right!
Performing a search can be an art form. Using the just right keyword to be successful takes some practice. It is so important to try many paths and exhaust all possibilities before posting your question in the threads. And then phrasing your question with all your information is important as well.

Well, since my first modded android phone in 2008, i have never felt the need of asking anything. Most likely because all issues I encountered were already covered. Either by developers or people answering issues reported by previous users having the same problems. And maybe because I like to get things done by myself. (Which I achieve 1% of the time ).
I check XDA almost every day since. I must say that the "reading thing" may sound challenging for some people. You'll ask me why?
What follows is about novice users for the most part who don't know about/how to use the search function. Try reading a thread where 100 users come each and every day writing the same thing about the same problem over and over. And over again...
Trying to find the relevant posts in-between all this mess is sometimes quite discouraging.
I'm lucky to have affinity with English and of course it's a lot easier to read and find infos when I need them. Google translate became really nice with time. Yet i find myself using it, since English is not my native language and I learned it the hard way. Sometimes it's sad to see people not using such a powerful tool.
People, please use the search function! Take some time to read. If you don't get it, use an online translator. :good:
PS: Hopefully I didn't derail too much from the OP with this post... I'll delete it if needed.

From the beginning, searching for the answer - did someone else have the same situation and fix it(?) - THIS always seemed easier and more gratifying than waiting for someone to answer me on a thread
Actually, I was flashing macks ROM, then CM on my note 2 and I didn't even KNOW XDA existed. I was so grateful when I found it. Especially when I got this phone. With Google ai, now it seems so much easier to do a quick search on the web

Yeah I know how you feel! At least for me having no real technical knowledge, I'm always glad to find the solutions by myself. Since it's around and just needs a search it's even faster than waiting for an answer. Also, since I only need to search when my phone is broken, I simply can't wait for someone to answer. Imagine no one replied during two days...

This is the first place I found when I started to flash my HTC vision back in 2008. I started reading guides and development and was like: WTF these guys are cracking bootloader, carrier unlocking, etc... And all can be found so easily... :good:
