Hello, I have a asus me172v . I rooted it with king root and everything worked. Then I wanted to apply cmw recovery, and so downloaded the .img files and using terminal explorer i loaded it, the code is:
su
dd if =/sdcard/mmcblk1p3.img of =/dev/block/mmcblk1p3
It said successful, so I thought it worked , and tried to boot into recovery,by the code
reboot recovery
the tablet switched off and then started booting , it showed the asus logo, and then didnt proceed into anything, its showing the logo for hours, but isnt booting up.
I drained the whole battery and then tried booting, but of no help
I switched off by pressing power button , and then pressed volume up+volume down+power buttton then it said usb not connected , after i connect with pc, then it shows ready for download, and then the usb drivers get installed.
What to do??????? Please help.........

I am not sure how I bricked it, but I have tried to install both twrp recovery and cwm recovery but I couldn't get it to boot into recovery.
Then I tried goo manager and recovery. But now it won't boot at all.
If just hold down the power button it comes with Asus logo and doesnt come any further.
The same thing hold down power and volume down.
If I hold down vol up and power I just get a black screen.
I have installed universal naked driver to install apx drivers and it cant find it in device manager, but in "my pc" or whats it called in english.
I have tried to install adb but that cant find the device either.
Any advice what to do?
Edit: it is both unlocked and rooted

You have killed it mate by trying to flash a recovery onto it that wasn't meant for that boot loader.
APX mode is only any good if you have nvflash backups which you don't mention so absolutely nothing you can do.
Basically after using adb reboot bootloader my tablet rebooted and got stuck on the logo. I have tried to
access the recovery mode by turning it on, while holding the up and down volume buttons, but nothing happens.
Moreoever, whenever I connect it to my computer, windows recognise it as USB Developer.
Any ideas on what to do?
Ok, it seems that if you leave it to fully discharge its battery, the bootloader command gets reset and its loads just fine.
Gonna mark this as solved
Hello guys ,please forgive my ignorance, a few days ago ı downloaded an application to my asus k011 and honestly the internal memory was almost full (someting 3,80gb) it got so slow and turned off by itself, now freezes on ASUS Logo never starts, no access to recovery mode, (Pressing home+volume up doesn't get me there either) when ı connect it to a pc, pc recognizes it as android device but not as K011 , ı have tried adb commands(recognizes the device as abcdefg1234567890 on command prompt) it did not work also, ı have heard that it is possible to recover it's recovery mode via xfstk downloader but ı couldn't find it's firmware image file. Sorry for writing too much
Had similar problem look on my post asus fonpad 7 hard bricked .
But first try this:
make sure your device is off if not press long power button. Now press together Vol + and Power button at the same time , it will vibrate but don't release keys , once ASUS logo appear release both keys and fast press just Vol - button several times until you see USB logo and Droid Boot screen and plug back usb cable .
I'm a bit stuck here, would appreciate some assistance.
I tried to root my device (UMI Plus) by yesterday using 'SP Flash tool' by flashing TWRP and then installing SuperSU. That went fine, but after booting my Google Play Services kept rebooting rendering the device unusable. In an attempt to fix this I tried a "Factory Reset" via the Android settings menu which I guess was a bad idea because it started auto booting into Recovery... At that point no matter what I did I ended up back in Recovery.. Reboot to system, factory data reset.. all rebooted the phone back into TWRP recovery.
So I thought I would just try putting the default recovery back on the device again but whenever I power off the device and connect it to my PC it boots into recovery.. The phone needs to be powered off for SP Flash Tools to work. Tried loading recovery image via fastboot but the volume rockers don't work in fastboot so I can't confirm the action.
After some digging I read online that holding down VolUp + Power can 'force' into preload mode, which seems to have some success. I can see the device boot into "Preloader mode" in device manager in Windows, but it loses connection after about 3 seconds. So I did that with my SP flash tool ready and it seems to have erased recovery mode. Oops! Now whenever I try to get into recovery it just says "No command". No combination of button pressing, button holding, button releasing or anything will change this (This is the only answer I could find on Google!). Neither fastboot or adb can see the device either. It shows up as "MTP USB device" in device manager in Windows...
Is it doomed? I can't figure out what to do next...
P.S. The full ROM is available here but in RAR format.. which seems strange to me...

Hello,
as I wrote in this (now locked) thread, I installed Superior OS and got stuck in bootloop. I get "Galaxy S9+" screen followed by system bootanimation, which repeats itself indefinitely. It doesn't restart by itself, it just boots endlessly.
The problem here is that I can't access recovery or even download mode. I tried to restart (power + volume down) and then quickly press combination to access recovery or download mode. No luck. I couldn't even turn the damn phone off. I just kept restarting.
So I let it drain the battery hoping I could then power the phone on with correct key combination. I tried holding bixby button + volume down while inserting USB. It just started booting up to system with boot animation. I tried holding bixby + volume up, or even power + bixby + volume down. No luck either.
I got correct USB drivers installed, as I flashed the phone with Odin in the past. Odin recognizes phone while it sits on boot animation, but it won't start flashing. ADB or fastboot do not work on bootanimation, as the ROM is freshly installed. I presume it has ADB turned off by default...
I'll be grateful for any ideas and suggestions.
No escape , man. I tried all ( check this rom for galaxy note 9 )
Nice...
I went to service center, they said they can fix it for me. 40 euros for reflash (download mode isn't necessary), 100 euros for complete unbrick. I hope the unbrick isn't necessary and the bootloader is intact. I'll post with update.
