Hello , I Installed a ruu of GPE on my AT&T m7 and it worked fine but I want to go back to stock (I saw that 5.0.2 is out for at&t), I want to install that rom but I can't find a way to go back stock or flash that RUU (I already download it)
Htc One M7 AT&t converted on GPE and now Install stock lollipop with sense rom
I tried to install the RUU version of 5.0.2 from brighstar (changing cid to bs_001) but does not worked (error on installation of the RUU)
Somebody can help me? :c

i'm planing on CM7.2 KANG build
the phone is stock, from local operator...
S-ON

baseband: 47.39.35.09U_7.08.35.21

i know that i can SOFF it via a tool HTC has released but i also know that i don't really need it and i can use CM even with C-ON (am i right?)
most root guides i see are for 1.01 and not 0.43 so i prefer asking then killing the phone
update
downgraded to 1.13
hboot-0.43.0001

i have root, and i get to this screen of recovery

You have two options. One is to make it s-off with AlphaRev, the other is to unlock boot loader with HTCdev method you mentioned. These are not the same. With unlocking you loose warranty as stated by HTC but with s-off you can always revert back to unlocked boot loader make it look like never being rooted/s-offed.
AlphaRev doesnt detect the desire
and when i tried HTCdev way i had to update using the RUU files there... they didn't want to run on desire
wanted to make goldcard so i can use that way... the goldcard generator is down...
what to do now?
I wouldn't know about Desire. Are you sure you're not lost? This is Legend forum...
sorry, its a legend... legend, not desire (i used to have one before my I9100)

got a gold card, tryed to use the guide in the forum... crackin.bat worked, inserted goldcard tryed runing RUU to downgrade... got error 131
downgraded to 1.13

Use ClockWorkMod recovery.

ITS ALIVE!!!
thx for all the help... got it to run with normal nightly CM7
I followed guides (this guide) on this site to convert my HTC One Dev Edition --> Google Play Edition with OTAs.
This is what I did:
- The phone was already unlocked.
- I got S-OFF.
- I verified that my MID was correct and changed my CID to match the Google Play Edition phone.
- I installed TWRP Recovery and used it to wipe the phone.
- I flashed the "Pre Rooted 4.3 RUU Zip"
The phone is running well with 4.3 now.
What I need help with:
I don't plan on flashing ROMS in the future, I just want it to be a GPE with OTA updates.
My understanding is that flashing the RUU also installs the GPE stock recovery (overwriting TWRP), and the stock recovery has to be there in order to get OTAs. Is this right?
When I enter the bootloader and choose recovery, I see this screen:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Is this normal?
Does it mean that the correct stock recovery is in place?

Yes, that is absolutely normal, when you boot stock recovery, it's looking automatically in your file structure for something to flash. When it doesn't find anything, you get this screen. To get to recovery options just hold volume up and hit power, the screen will go grey and you'll see the recovery options.
Hope this helps.
I need to return my EVO LTE to get another replacement, but I need the base ROM so I can flash it back to stock. Unfortunately, I can't gain access to the NANDROID backup I made of the base ROM before flashing the Viper ROM that I'm currently using. If someone would kindly post the base ROM that's compatible for my phone's build, I would be highly appreciative. Here's my phone's info:

Viperboy made a RUU tool that you can find at the link below.

If you are S-Off, you can use the viper RUU tool to go back to completely stock.

Or, as another solution, you can always flash the stock rooted rom, and remove superuser, thereby unrooting it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2045935
Just be sure to relock the bootloader. But your best option would be to go S-Off, run VipeRUU, and use a mod to change the bootloader information that's displayed when you boot into the bootloader.

VipeRUU will put the phone back completely stock, locked bootloader and all. No need to use a mod like regaw's bootloader customizer to change the bootloader info.

Thanks, guys. My phone is still S-on. I'm really not concerned with relocking the bootloader since NO ONE ever checks for that stuff based on past experiences.

you sir are super duper lucky, this is the "pre" 4.2.2 RUU but it run's exactly the same way as the released version
RE-LOCK the bootloader
download and flash in the following way
HBOOT needs running and flashing first : http://www.mediafire.com/download/jbt8k6ddffafakv/(Hboot)_RUU_EVITARE_UL_J.exe
THEN flash this RUU : http://www.mediafire.com/download/kdmjehdji8onild/RUU_EVITARE_UL_JB_50_S_C.exe
enjoy, re-unlock the bootloader after
FYI you WILL LOSE everything on /data/media (internal sd)

alright i learned now i needed to fast boot flash a boot.img im trying that, i flashed that so far, trying to sideload the other file. damn things drivers always crashing and causing me problems. does anybody else have this many problems with these drivers?
Edit. Finily got it booted with a ROM. Got viper without sense its pretty nice a and much lighter without sense probably so I think its a fair compromise for not having a cm based ROM for at&t version. Gf not as happy with it but at least now I won't have to hear her ***** as much about a glichy phone. I hope
Where i can download the ruu for this device and how to install (or work with them) ?
They are region specific and htc have only relesed it for the at&t us version. So far all other version owners are out of luck.
What's happen if i use RUU AT&T US version instead of Asia version?

No. As I said earlier htc have not released one. But I do have all files from a brand new asia phone that matches your details. What exactly are you after? Kernel, rom, stock recovery? All up thats a lot for me upload and host. If you tell me whats wrong and what you want to do I am sure I can get you what you want. A near stock backup image of mine is still around on these threads and the rest I could put in a smaller.zip to return it to stock. So what excatly do you want to do? Rooted or not rooted? Stock recovery or TWRP? System partition write locked or not locked?
MiniBlu
Thanks. I also back up my rom before that.
I just wanna unroot my phone
But i have some problem
I can not uninstall SuperSU
I use "Full unroot" in SuperSU setting. Then, i reboot my phone and it appears again. I don't know why??
So, i think that If i have RUU asia version, every thing can be solved.
Can you give me some clues to make it right?

If you got a back up of full stock before you rooted it just restore it.
Unroot won't stick if run from the rom becouse /system partition if write protected. you would need to do it from recovery.
