Hi!
While doing a nandroid backup restoring my SGS2 went off suddenly.
Now is not responding to power button, not responding to 3 buttons combinations and not responding to usb JIG :crying:
Somebody can help me please??
Rom? Kernel?
How about battery level?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
Low battery or dead battery?
Very much doubt its ROM / Kernel related.
However power/battery may be a problem, have you tried to turn it on with the power plugged into the phone or after allowing it to charge for 5 min? In fact if you plug it it to a wall charger do you get the battery charging icon?
Im suspecting a hardware issue to be honest, if a device switches off like that half way through an innocuous task its either power or a hardware problem.

When went off it was at 67% of battery.
Now I can't even charge the phone, when I plug the charge into the phone no battery image appears
I was on latest XXLQ5 and wanted to restore nandroid backup of KI8 while this happens.

No battery icon when connecting the charger. And can't power on with charger connected
Try leaving it on the charger for 45 mins or 2 hour and try to power on your phone (Remove it from the charger when you try to power it on).

Have you tried taken the battery out for more than 30 seconds?

Why ask the same question twice?
I had similar bsod, & following saved me.
1. Launch Odin
2. Plug ph in to PC w/o battery in it.
3. Do 3 button combo for d/l mode.
4. While still holding 3 button combo... now - insert battery (tricky but can be done)
5. If ph goes into d/l mode, flash your stock ROM now with Odin...
Saved my bacon before. Hope it works for you

No its supposed to work on ALL Samsung devices, read the OP
I found this reading a French blog which is written by a SGS II owner ;-)
The battery was too low and I didn't charge it at the night time. In the morning it was completely dead so plugin the charger, the orange charging light turned on once and after that it didn't turned on? Please help.
If it is completely dead it always takes a few minutes of charging time before the orange light shows up. Don't try to power it up until it has had at least 30 minutes or so of charge time.

If it has been on the charger for more than 30 minutes and no orange light, you need an external way to charge the battery.
When the battery is past a certain point, CWM prevents it from charging, which is why we don't use it.

If the battery was dead, it may take 20 mintues or more on a charger before you see a charging light. If the orange LED is flashing when you hit the power button, it means it does not have enough juice to power on. Make sure it is connected to a wall charger, and wait. If you flashed a rom incorrectly, you many have to pull the battery for about an hour before trying to reinsert it. Lastly, I also had a faulty battery initially and once replaced with a new one, worked fine.
check this out its at walmart.
external lithium ion battery charger second on the list is the universal one you can find them by the digital camera equip at most walmarts http://www.walmart.com/search/searc...ind&_ta=1&search_query=digipower&_tt=digi-pow once your batteries charged put it back in your phone and flash a different recovery preferably this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1339679

Well I went to update my atrix 4g, for a rom, but was locked bootloader, I knew I had to unlock it, so I gave 100% then the cell called the motorola logo and suddenly hung up, then, is not already tested the battery for 5 batteries, the charger is not already because I put in wall charger, already recharged the battery with a universal charger, and now have my atrix dead, when I connect the usb, the green LED is lit and the signal. any suggestions? (the pc does not recognize, nor in rsd lite, nor enter into recovery mode)

Honestly it sounds like either a dead screen or a dead phone. like you said, the only thing that seems to respond to anything you do is the notification light when plugged into the computer. unless one of the other members has a better idea with whats going on, you probably are going to need to buy a replacement atrix or buy a new device.

I understand most of what you've said, but I'm not sure what you mean by what you said. who is it that called again? and under normal working conditions, your computer should automatically recognize your device with the proper drivers installed. you don't need rsd lite to get your computer to recognize it.
