Hi All -
I recently flashed DAGr8's Milestone 6 and it is running super smooth. However, in tablet mode (dpi = 160 - 213). The status bar at the bottom disappears as soon as some full screen app is used or after phone goes in sleep mode and to get it back I have to go to Settings->ROM Control->General UI->Recents Window Style and pick one value which resets the UI and I get the status bar back. Is there any setting I'm missing which will keep the status bar all the time?
I have navigation bar & round battery Icon turned ON - may be this info will help. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
Hi there
just bought an xperia U.
does the phone support notification buttons? because when i drag the notification bar, instead of buttons (wireless, gps, blutooth, sound etc) i have the name of my provider.
The KA Rom has this build in, but you need unlocked bootloader for the rom.
You can search the playstore for an app called power controls, it does pretty much the same.
Sent with my Sony Xperia S using a little bit of KA magic.
Hello.
Me and my friend, we installed on his phone an android 2.3.6. It was from their official website. But after installing few things change. And one of them is that there is no notification bar anymore. (the one you can slide down on homescreen, there is the bar wich u can slide down but no "bluetooth, wifi, gps etc")
I saw a video where you go to display settings and tick the notification bar or something like that , but there isnt such an option on his phone.
Please help us out.
anyone?

Hello, people!
I have installed FreeXperia (CM10) on my Xperia U, but I was very sad because the illumination bar didn't function... And I love the illumination bar. :crying:
So, I searched and I found a solution to make it function for notifications, but with limited time, like before, with Illumination Bar... I tried some ways and I found one that functions. So, the lights won't turn on when you touch buttons, but it will be OK for notifications. Maybe some of you had this solution, but some FXP users said me to post it here. So, I post it here.
So, you need :
- An Xperia U. (I couldn't test with other Xperia phones, so if some of you can test...)
- The FXP ROM (Tested with CM10, it must works with CM9)
- Your ROM is rooted (Otherwise it will not function at all)
- These two apps :
- Illumination receiver.apk, from Rundgong : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=37393546&postcount=664
- Illumination Bar Notifiction, from Rundgong too : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rundgong.illuminationcontrol (There's a paid version for those who wants to thank him)
Install Illumination Receiver and after Illumination Bar Notification and configure them.
This is my config :
□ means "not tick"
■ means "tick"
Sorry if the names aren't like in the original version in English, the names I use are translated from French
Illumination Receiver (needs root) :
- Select Device : Xperia U
Illumination Bar Notification :
- General settings
-- Phone : Xperia U
-- Brightness : 7
-- Notification Period : 10 seconds
-- □ Quick stop
-- ■ Disable lightning when screen is turned on
-- ■ Don't display icon in the status bar
-- Advanced settings
--- □ Xperia S Jelly Bean Fix
- Illumination bar always turned on : Disable
- Temporarily disable : Notifications are enable
- Disable hours : 21:30 - 07:00
- Illumination Bar color -> Useless on FXP
For each notification type, tick Enable and Turn off when screen is unlocked.
It will function without fading pattern, but it's not disturbing.
If it functions on other Xperia devices, please tell me, otherwise, I can't help you because I have only Xperia U to test.
It appears sometimes that "Illumination Receiver isn't responding" and the application restart after. I don't know why, so don't ask me why it appears. ^^
Thanks to Rundgong for the applications :good:
