So after I unziped the file, I have 4 md5 files and I suppose to flash each file with AP mode with your Odin settings? You said do it twice so I need to flash 8 times? Flash in any orders?
No..no! Each file goes in the matching buttons in ODIN!
Click the bl button...select bl file
DO this for all 4!
Then...set checkboxes, then hit start. First flash done..proceeded to second flash with different checkboxes

It works if u do not have the OC1 bootloader. If you do it will not work. So far there's no way around the lock bootloader.
That makes sense as to why it didn't work for me. I have the OC1 bootloader.

But hey don't get me wrong. Right now they r trying to find ways to get around the OC1 bootloader. My has off for testing it. If they find other methods we should probably test them. I know they r working hard to get us root. We can get it accomplish to trial and error
Coming from a 'bricked' device
Someone brought me a phone the other day that they had flashed the NC5 kernel to, in an attempt to gain root access, and in the process got an error screen saying that Verizon had detected unauthorized software blah blah..... I found this nice neat little package, and it worked perfectly to fix the problem.
Not touting that this is a good fix for that particular problem, but rather giving my feedback on if this works
download: 10/10 (google speeds so much better than sammobile)
ease of use: 10/10
Compatibility with VRUFNK1 Variant: 10/10

Is there any development around doing this for the OC1 bootloader for the unfortunate few of us who joined the GS4 party a little too late?

Find Hopper8's 'Odin troubleshooting' thread & try the stuff in that thread/keep trying. In many cases these things are fixed by perseverance I.E the first 7 flashes dont work but the 8th works for whatever reason. Unless you'd rather take it to a Samsung service centre & explain how you broke it (and pay to have it fixed) ?

The same thing happened to me on My Galaxy s1.
Un-install all samsung drivers
Install Samsung KIES
and update drivers in download mode
make sure to kill all kies task from Task manager
Try different Odin version
Try to flash older Version firmware like Ginger bread
...which is exactly what Hopper's thread says (among other things) & was the whole point of him putting that info together - so these things don't have to be regurgitated time & time again for every n00b who gets stuck/asks.

well tried all the possible soluton no luck.
I have a S3 that received OTA and I updated. I am talking about a stock S3, no root, no changes. The phone died and I could not enter recovery mode. I can only enter the Odin Mode. I tried first with Keis in some computer and cables but Keis cannot recognize the phone.
I then tried ODIN 3.07 with a stock image but that didnt work. (see below, it says there is no pit partition). I also tried to repartition but it fails.
I tried ODIN in several computer and several cables as well, including a Windows XP.
This appear on the phone:

I have a SM-G900A Galaxy S5 and in the process of trying to download a custom recovery I got a message on my phone telling me that I needed to take my device to the nearest AT&T store (do not remember exact message) and it was stuck on that screen so I put the phone in download mode and tried to install a stock 4.4.2 firmware (even though my phone was on 5.0) that was still on my computer and when I tried it gave me this on odin:

then it says Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again.
anyone got any ideas?
The ATT variants have the bootloader locked and do not support downgrading. If you grab the newer firmware, you'll be fine.

Has to be the same version or newer. If it's failing on the aboot, that means you're attempting to downgrade.

I'm sorry, I don't know how to do that? I cannot access the phone at all, I can only go into download mode
Good Afternoon,
After reading all of the threads pertaining to this, I am not step closer in solving my problem with my phone. A little background on the issue. 4 weeks ago my son, had his phone stolen. However, it has been recovered and returned to me.
1. Once returned I tried to factory reset the S6 which failed. The phone was asking for a Samsung account in which the phone was initial for. Which was me, but every time I entered the correct information the warning was process failed. Got it!! Time to flash
2. After coming to this site from the advice of a co-working I downloaded the Samsung USB drivers, Odin v3.10.6 and ROM (G925AUCU3BOI2) (this is not the first ROM in downloaded)(I have been at this for a couple of days) which is the most current for v5.1.1.
3. After following the steps, it has passed within Odin. (See Log below)

4. Once everything went through and the Edge rebooted, it has looked like that nothing has changed and the phone is still asking me for my samsung information stating that there was an abnormal factory reset. Same as it stated before. and with me adding the correct samsung information still saying that the process has failed.
Nothing has changed with installing the new firmware on the phone. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a step that is missing in flashing this phone?
Prior issues leading to me installing this ROM was:
Receiving error: SW REV CHECK FAIL DEVICE:3 BINARY: 2
Load failing after a NAND whatever its called..lol
Please any information will be helpful! Thank You
