[Q] Are there any LP ROMS that use the stock LG camera? - Verizon LG G3

I tried SkyDragon when I first got my G3 a few months ago, but I wasn't a big fan of the camera app. Now that Verizon has updated the G3 to LP, are there any ROMs that are utilizing the stock base and camera (with laser AF support)?

I'm pretty sure that the stock-based ROMs use the LG camera. I know that Jasmine is on Lollipop and does because I just fired it up 2 days ago to check a couple of things out in the stock camera and it was there. AOSP ROMs will not include it.

I know that Jasmine & Skydragon use LG camera cause there stock lollipop ROMS so those are the only ROMS you can use LG camera in

I refuse to use any rom other than stock because I love Xcam so much. Not to mention you can't go wrong with either SkyDragon or Jasmine. They're both excellent roms! If they ported xcam to AOSP, I'd switch in a heartbeat.

Gravity box doesn't work on rooted sense Rom

Any clue why Gravity box doesn't work on rooted sense Roms properly?
Some customization works but not all.
Most of then are supposed to work only on CM/AOSP/AOKP roms
I agree. On CM Based roms almost all the features work very well.

[Q] Vanilla Android Lollipop for LG G3

Is there any vanilla android lollipop ROMS for Sprint LG G3? I am running CM12 Unofficial right now and each new update it gets further and further away from vanilla.
CM12 2/3 build is as close to vanilla as you'll get without sacrificing features. I am between barRin and cm12 atm. Still waiting for the official release to come.

How do I explain this without sounding stupid.
1. On a fresh install I liked the Google phone setup than the CM12 phone setup where it gave me options to restore from a particular time. It would then go on to restore my settings and apps as they were on the previous ROM. As the more current builds seem to have removed that feature. I am not really worried about other features of CM12. Is barRin a derivative of CM12 or is it something else?

AICP 5.1.1 for the G2 exists - you just have to look

D800 - http://dwnld.aicp-rom.com/?device=d800&type=NIGHTLY
Also on the site are...
d801
d802
d803
d850
d851
d852
d855
I use AICP on my Nexus 9 and figured I'd search Google. It's weird, I can't find anything in G2 Android Development for them though.
Also, like the recent Blisspop builds, the wake issue is not a problem on the latest nightly with the included kernel.

Any more information about the builds? I've not heard of that project yet. Are they AOSP based or a derivative of CM?

Thank you so much
So for D802 it requires Jb bootloader /Loki or Kk bootloader?cause Lp uses kk bootloader (stock) but this is not stock perhaps. Installation and instructions arent that specific Coming from cloudyg2 3.3 Lp 5.0.2 Dorimanx kernel.
Both lp-loki and lp-bumped boot stacks will work. Most convenient way probably is

thanks. I was just reading that thread while you were posting it So jb bootloader it is then
EDIT: What kernel works best with this rom (to the ppl who flashed diff kernels) ? Dorimanx or most other kernels are stock based here. 5.1.1 Nightly isnt exactly stock, i think. SOme d802 users battery drain, idle or SOT is because of the stock kernel 3.4.0 (well atleast for me), dunno about other versions tho.Cheers
The daily builds run Marshmallow now and it's pretty stable. Everything works on my d801. I'm also using LamdaKernel even though the one from AICP is pretty good.
How is battery doing?

I'm curious about this rom, but the problems i had with cm12.1 and 13 was the battery, it drained in 5 hours even on screen off i tried using other kernels but i never got them to make a significant difference, now im on Resurrection Remix 5.6.1 on M and the battery is amazing, also, i wasn't able to get QuickRemote working on M either CM or RR, have you tried it?

Resurrection Remix. It's a CM 13 based Rom, stable and nice. You have other customization options too.
From my personal experience, MM ROMs are a lot better, smooth and stable (so far) than any lollipop Rom I've flashed on this device

Yes..i tried to flash it before The ROM bit nothing... The recovery doesn't istall The ROM..remain on path system unconditionally..
I think cm 13 is best rom ever in custom roms
I suggest Temasek, AICP, or CyanPop for now. Since RR froze development for reasons I don't know, these ROMs should be a good substitute. But when RR comes back, its a recommend to go for it. RR topped the charts while the I9300 was in the world of lollipops

I had Blispop v4.x (LP 5.1) for a month. Twice a day I had to restart the phone because camera driver (or whatever) was crashing and apps could not connect to camera.
Is the camera driver stable on CM 13 or Resurrection Remix?
I was using A Better Camera and Camera MX.
I suggest to stay on lollipop, cause MM cm-13 still have a lot of bugs. If you use ur phone for daily usage just wait for stable release of MM.

not right.. for me marshmallow rom is better than lollipop ROM..try only to see the instructions and do a flash clean.
is 3 weeks thai i use Cyanogenmod13 and now i'm on latest build 17012016..and all works fine without problem.. for camera i don't have any issue.. i use snap camera but i think also stock camera isn't buggy
Lollipop is not ideal for exynos versions of S3. Thats why CM skipped it. Not to say you wont find other custom roms where L does fine as well as unofficial CM12 versions. With free time on the weekend, I decided to test latest CM 13 nightlies. This on the assumption its just to familiarize myself with it then flash back to my reference CM11 backup. Quite surprised how solid CM13 is. May hang on to it for a while as I've not yet seen any reason to flash back yet.
I recommend you resurrection remix rom.

Still running CM12.1 nightlies... what should i move to?

Hi all,
So im still running the "official" Z2 CM12.1 nightlies with no other kernels/mods.
I like CM12.1 as it's easy to load, has the privacy options, is quick and just works.
It would be nice to just move to CM13, but of course it doesn't really exist for the Z2.
So.... can anyone recommend a Marshmallow ROM that i should move on to?
I'm not after any bleeding edge features, or a ROM loaded with 3rd party stuffs.
Just something with the simple speed/battery optimisations, working cameras, etc would be great.
Thanks in advance!
existenz mm
existenx is the only rom that really works fine, i have try almost all AOSP based roms and no one has work correctly so i decide to stay existenx
You could take a look to the upcoming Google Style MM ROM. It will be very close and similar to AOSP.
