[Q] removing bloat from bluestacks question - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I tried to search for info but only come up with the tool on here that is depreciated. I have bluestacks 9.27.5408 rooted and titanium backup root. But some of the apps seen in the trebuchet all apps list aren't shown in titanium backup. Or if they are they aren't recognizable as them. These are the following: app sync, bluestacks charts, and gamepop-home. As far as I know I don't need these. Also I don't know if there is anything else I should remove that is not seen in the all apps but is installed. Thank you for any help and advice.

Same question. Exact same symptoms.
Titanium doesn't find the garbage apps
Folders on the root of Data, like app, private, app-asec, etc, are empty in regard of these bloatwares
Anyone ?

Do you want your device to crash? Advice: leave them (the ones you listed). You should never uninstall a critical system app (unless you're experienced and know exactly what you are doing). This app could help you - https://market.android.com/details?id=com.danesh.system.app.remover&feature=search_result. It can advise you which app is not so critical to the system and probably fine for removal.
first of all if u wanna remove system apps you gotta root your phone.Download titanium backup and backup the app that you wanna remove.

Apps keep re-installing

Hi all,
I have rooted my XS and installed Titanium Back-up and uninstalled all the bloatware etc.
However, whenever I restart my phone these all appear again and I go through it all and uninstall them all again.
I never had this problem on my X10 and was wondering if anyone had any answers for me at all?
(Sorry if this has been asked before, I did search and found no answers on here)
what kind of bloatware did you uninstall?

Hi,
Wisepilot, Track ID, Evernote, Moxia, Astro, Play Store and most of the O2-UK bloatware they install for me plus a few others
Titanium backup seems to uninstall them and they disappear but if I let my battery empty and turn it back on after recharging they all appear again?
It's no real biggie as I can just uninstall them again but it is bloody annoying!
Running .50 (Seems Russian?)
Bootloader Unlock :No.
Rooted using flashtool

[Q] Having problem with making system apps user apps

Hey guys, (yes my device is rooted)
I downloaded greneenify app and I wanted to hybernate apps such facebook, maps etc. just any system app I want to. But you can't do that when these apps are system apps which they are. So I wanted to put them as user apps but I don't know how to do so. I'm using titanium backup and there's only an option to make an app system app not the other way around. I was searching for some apps I could use for my purpose and I've found one but I need busybox to make it work and I'm having issue with installing it. Everytime I try to install busybox it ends up with restarting my cellphone and that's all. I've tried out two different busybox apps but none of them really worked. My majer problem and goal is to make those apps as user apps and not busybox, but if that means I do need busybox for making so, any advice is appericated, thank you.

Delete system/pre-installed apps on a rooted device

Hi,
I'd like to know how to safely delete system or ROM pre-installed applications that don't offer an "Uninstall" option. I am rooted and running 5.0.2 on a Nexus 6. I know I could do this with Titanium or other similar apps but my point is to not install a specific app just for deleting apps if I can find the correct path/file from Root Explorer and remove it myself.
Thanks

from my experience the best that you can do is to use root explorer and goto system/app or system/priv-app and delete folder-app you do not need, then goto data/dalvik-cache, search for apk name and delete also program *.dex, so this is a clean method, make a reboot for clearing apk data !
It's safer to rename the app instead of deleting it... "freezing" apps often just add ".fro" to the app's name (whatever.apk.fro, for example) to keep it from appearing in your app launcher or loading. If anything goes wrong because of the "missing" app, you can easily restore it.
