Is it possible to have the full script in text ?

You also have the option to bring it back Previous state

I don't own a PC and my only work computer is a mac. Commands would be really helpful and much appreciated!

is there a way to reverse this without having to wipe anything?

This feature will be in the next version.

I don't really understand the purpose of this script. Does it allow notifications on the gear S with CM12.1 installed? Please add directions on what I need to install on my samsung phone to utilize my gear s after running this script.

Dood you should really read the thread properly. This script is for standalone use of Gear S. Not flashing another rom or anything. If you use it as standalone device, then there is no need to sync it to a cellphone. This script is therefore designed to optimise battery life on tizen...

Question does it just make the screen go away that requires you to be connected to a samsung phone (screen pops up about not being connected to phone or something) thus enabling access to News/Weather/Contacts or does it do something else?

anybody has unlocked the email app??

Is it possible that sometime an android port is possible for samsung z3 tizen phone?
Update:
This phone has Spreadtrum SC7730S SOC platform
Please check this link:
The last line mentions this:
Overall, SC7730S chip set presents a high cost-effective platform for Android mobile devices.
So this soc is made for android, what are the chances for an android port for this device...? I am hopeful.
anything is possible...just to be a will..
but,why would you do that?
tizen is lighter...uses less battery. requires also cheaper hardware to use...
better than that...we should consider porting apps to tizen..

Hi,
I was also very tired of the bt interrupt notification alert of the Watch helper app. I found a way to create your own apk installation file without these alert and would like to describe that as short as possible (no Xposed needed):
1. Download the latest official watch helper apk file from the net to your PC
2. Open that file with zip program (I used “7-zip” for example)
3. Select the folder “res” -> “raw”
4. Erase the file “bt_prxr_link_loss_alert.ogg”
5. Create an empty text file, rename it completely in “bt_prxr_link_loss_alert.ogg” and copy it into the opened archive -> confirm with “yes”
6. Save the apk under a custom name or just close the opened archive of the zip program
Now install these apk on your smartphone and check it, by disabling the BT on your smartwatch. The BT loss message will appear on your screen, but no alert sound!!!
I hope this is a good solution for you. There is a way by using a xposed module, but this should be also usable without xposed.
I can't use the solution with xposed, because I'm on Android 7.0.

Amazfit - any way to send a file to the watch via bluetooth?

Was considering getting an Amazfit, but was hoping there might be an easy way to transfer a podcast (or two) to the watch before I go out for a run.
From what I can read, this is only possible by connecting the phone to a computer, which isn't very handy at all.
Seems like from a technical perspective bluetooth (or wifi) transfer should be possible. If it isn't possible, has anyone looked into creating or porting a syncing app? (might have a go myself if it doesn't exist)

I'm searching the same. But I've find any solution yet.
Did you?
I found this info in the Chinese firmware version:
1.2.47 development version update log
Add mobile phone to the watch transmission file experience version (temporarily only supports Android phones, you need Update to the latest development APP)
Support for mp3 and gpx files ONLY - transfer to the watch <==========
Fixed the problem of "partial data synchronization failed"
Optimize sleep data
Optimize system stability
Bug fixes
But I don't know if there is an English version with this feature.

If you are using an Android phone you can install watch droid, it has a send file to watch function on the phone app.

But, how do you transfer files?
Using Amazfit Android App? Or via bluetooth?
Jesus
Hi,
I am using Watchdroid fro Amazfit and there is an option in phone part of the app for transfering files to watch. Works fine. Also, yesterday i have installed the latest version of Amazfit Watch app (2.2) from Apkmirror and there is also a simple file manager app for transfering mp3 and gpx files to the watch. In both cases via BT connection.
im using Watch Droid. Amazfit have in ver.2.0.1, i dont know if 2.2 can sync with Strava

Tutorial - Gear S for Samsung Note 8.0 N5120 "tablet" phone on android 4.4.2

Tutorial - Gear S for Samsung Note 8.0 N5120 "tablet" phone on android 4.4.2
There are existing threads for non samsung devices but it's a samsung tablet. And a samsung phone....?! anyway hope this helps someone.
I spent a lot of time, trial and error making this go on my note 8.0 "samsung galaxy note phone", here is what I found
I had to factory reset the phone before things would work, changes are the minimum required. But they didn't work before a factory reset in my case.
Basically it would get stuck on pairing with phone (S3) or connecting to phone (S) before the phone factory reset.
If you can't get things to work you may need to clear cache or copy fingerprints etc from N7105 build.prop to build.prop as I did this many times. But I think the following is what is really required as a minimum.
1. build.prop edits required
2. stock 4.4.2 touchwiz used with no removed apps. (You can install root, twrp and xposed at least, and it doesn't seem to care)
3. copy gearmanagerstub from N7105 4.4.2 rom (note 2)
1. The minimum build.prop edits required are
ro.product.model=GT-N7105
*ro.build.characteristics=phone
*In /data/data/com.samsung.android.app.watchmanager/files/rules.xml there is a reference to
<item supportTabler="false">Gear S</item>
If you edit this to true you can now see the gear when build.prop says you have a tablet. Also works with S3.
If the product model is not changed the gear S will not connect
If the characteristic is not a phone, a gear S or S3 will not connect
If the characteristic is a phone, the phone crashes on incoming or outgoing calls. You can't end the outgoing call when it crashes!
If both are already paired, they disappear once build.prop is changed back to = tablet for example. ("no gear devices" under connect new devices, connecting does not fail to existing paired device)
But you can get around the characteristic problem with the rules.xml file.
3. get gearmanagerstub
you can download the N7105 rom and extract using tar convert system.img using simg2img then mount the fixed system.img and gearmanagerstub is under /apps, not sure which version it is or if it matters. Mine is v. "14.03.12" according to manifest, buildinfo is "20170105" version value "12149750"
I used rom N7105XXSFQA5_N7105VFGFNE1_N7105BUUFND1_HOME.tar (VOD-N7105XXSFQA5_N7105VFGFNE1-20170105.zip)
The right order to do this all in?
1. Edit build.prop to include both edits, copy gearmanagerstub apk across
2. factory reset.
3. Create or sign into samsung account.
4. Open galaxy apps, allow all updates.
5. Install gear wearables from the galaxy app store (won't show without at least the build.prop tablet->phone edit, you may need additional edits to get it to work? I don't want to try again, but originally I had most build properties set as N7105 version).
6. Get your gear S paired. Wait for all updates it installs.
7. Then edit rules.xml, and
8. change build.prop back to =tablet. (should now only have 1 edit left, ro.product.model=GT-N7105)
9. Now select under settings use remote connection.
It works! And phone calls work! Find my gear beeps the device while bluetooth is off on wifi and receives notifications. 3g also works after I fixed the apn. Notifications arrive over 3g within a couple of seconds.
Version of apps left installed at the end / I noticed updated (they all installed by themselves)

[GUIDE] A320FL Debloat No root Oreo

Hello,
I've debloated a Samsung SM-A320FL for work, so I though I should share my method with you.
It needs no special knowlegde, no root so you won't loose any warranty or so.
1 - First of all, you need to install ADB on your PC (You can find how to do it here).
2 - Then activate developper options on the phone. Go to:
Parameters/about phone/software informations
and tap 7 times on "build version"
3 - Still on the phone, go back to parameters and to "developper options". Activate "USB debogging mode"
4 - Plug the phone to the PC and athorize the connection
5 - Launch the adb console as administrator and type "adb shell"
6 - Paste the content of the file linked to this post and press enter
Your A3 has now only those apps:
- My files
- Play Store
- Phone
- Messages
- Camera
- Gallery
- Clock
- Contacts
- Parameters
- Calculator
Off course you can now desactivate "USB debogging mode" and "developper mode", so your phone seem to be factory done like that by Samsung.

Hello, seem's working but i have again apps on phone. In application list, i see them again with "not installed" mentionned.
How can i delete them definitively to gain space.
kagazushi, are you french ? i see SFR apps
Best regards.
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 <package_to_disable>
For some reason, the disable-user command lets you disable basically any application you want while the regular disable command is quite limited.
Hi
do you still have voLTE once all these stuffs are gone ?
Thanks a lot for this debloater !
(edit : it's ok, I still have voWIFI & voLTE after debloating)
so does this still work on the latest firmware? Is it really safe?
Thanks, saved my device from the ever overloaded internal memory. As it's for personal use I kept (or rather reinstalled) email, calendar, photoretouching, smartmirroring, google drive (aka .docs) and google maps (some may want to keep videos and youtube too).
I only have one issue so far:
gallery app crashes when i want to check image details and under albums it only shows me camera roll, but none from other folders.
despite reinstalling smartmirroring, the screen-mirroring icon disappeared from the slide-down menu [stupid me had installed mirrorlink instead of smartmirroring]
It would be great, if someone could tell what dependencies the gallery app has to access file info and to create these folder albums. So i can reinstall the needed stuff. My phone feels so much snappier now and i certainly won't go back to reinstall all of them just to get that Samsung gallery and screen mirroring to work properly. Thanks again to the OP.

yes, did it yesterday on a completely updated phone. It just didn't remove samsung pay and linkedin bloatware on my device - not a big issue.
Anybody using Android Auto after debloating? Issues?
Thanks
