The latest version of Kodi tv installs on Nexus 9, but the aspect ratio is messed up and I cannot figure out how to correct it. Has anyone figured it out?
Kodi runs fine for me. Just the nav bar is automatically hidden and it appears by sliding it up.

Kodi works for me, but the main menu text runs off the sides of the screen. I'll post a screenshot later.
It only affects menus and text in Kodi, not video or thumbnails. Still, it'd be nice to fix it so it looks better and scrolling is more accurate.
Here's a screenshot for the curious.

I'm trying to set a 960x800 image as a wallpaper, it's actually packed in with Onyx but I switched to Axura and I pulled the wallpaper out of the Onyx TW chooser, so I'm trying to set it as a wallpaper but there's this weird cropping thing I have to do and no matter how I do it I can't get it zoomed out enough so that it looks like it did when it was in the Onyx TW wallpaper chooser... it always zooms in too close when I try to use the cropper thing.. does anyone know how to do this correctly???
It's pissing me off, this should be dead simple

No workie...?

it 'workies' but how am I supposed to stretch the box? sometimes as you're dragging the lines the image zooms in and out.. like what's the optimal position of the box? the way you've got it pictured? so you don't want it to cover the whole image?
When out zooms in pull the bottom or the top that usually corrects it
to odin and back again
Has anyone got a different CM7-compatible bootscreen that looks good on the touchpad? One that is in landscape perhaps?
The Google Nexus screen doesn't work for me.

Google Gears works in everything so far.
Cheers.
I stuck the DukeOS one on and that works well, it's even roughly the right size for the screen, the TP boots so quickly that it only just gets to the final loop before it gets to the launcher. Cool animation though although the screen seems a bit dark.
Might try the Honeycomb animation too.
Remembered that you can just copy them into /data/local/ and it overrides the default one and persists across OS upgrades as well which is a bonus.
There was a really well done BIOS loadscreen that someone did for the SGS2 which would be nice to adapt to the TouchPad, I might see if I can track it down and have a look. There's a surprising amount of work involved.
How can we take Screenshots ?

now pretend Kenny Powers has a SGSIII in his left hand...
i'm pretty sure i saw video of people swiping the screen with their entire palm from right to left.
You swipe all the way from left or right to the other side of the screen with the side of your hand. It's enabled by default in "Motion" options.
Not working?
My motion actions are not working? When I first opened the phone the swipe to get a screenshot feature worked. Now it does not. i checked the setttings and it is enabled, so I'm confused. Also, when I cover the screen while playing music it doesnt pause the music like its supposed to? Do I have a lemon? Ive tried rebooting to no avail.
Please help!!
Is there a normal camera app which uses the leveltool in android?
Why? because i see lots of pictures with an angled horizon, caused by holding the phone under a slightly angle when taking pictures. (including myself)
The only apps which use this feature are the panorama apps. It starts working from the second picture till the last. I'd like to see an app which has this feature by single shots.
thnx
Here's an example of what i mean:
Take a look at the waterlevel. It's not straight. I's diffiult to get that horizontal. A gridline with a beep would be nice. I noticed on my default camera app there's a tiny gridline. i can't see it in this conditions.

After trying out a model in the store, I don't understand the glance feature. It kept telling me to open an app but I had a bunch of apps running in the background. Then I finally got one little thumbnail of an app that was open and I could hover to get a preview of it but I couldn't get a second one to do that. I thought it would be like all of your open apps would be thumbnails and you could glance at them? I don't think I'll be using that feature much. It just didn't seem handy or helpful. Maybe I need to play with it more. Did anyone else try it yet or understand it?
For the record, magnify and translate are brilliant.
