Thread was created on the 19th and still no download.
Xda does not allow placeholder threads.
Thread Closed
Pm me when you have a download ready.
original thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2263987
Video is in the original thread
How does it work
- Setup your settings in the UI.
- Then go to your System Settings -> Accessibility -> Floating Notifications - Turn it on
You will see one test notification. You will see this ANYTIME the service starts/restarts. This is there so A you know the service has started and B so you can get a feel for how they work. This will obviously NOT be in the final version.
Controls
- Tap to open the stack
- Tap the current notification to close the stack
- Tap the text of a notification to launch that app
- Drag the first notification in the stack to move around the screen
- Double tap to close a notification
- Double tap a closed stack to close all notifications
App List
- Checkbox to enable disable
- Second icon is expanded notification text
- Third is stack messages (meaning show all or show only the latest)
- Fourth is enable actions (JB+ if your notification normally has any buttons they'll appear)
- Fifth is wake the screen on notification
Sensitivity
- The double tap threshold refers to the amount of time in milliseconds between taps. So if you set it to 1000 it will wait one second for your second tap before it brings up the text.
To be added (or being considered)
- Dock at the side of the screen (half off screen like Halo)
- Quick replies
- Ability to toggle each animation on or off
- Get expanded text for certain apps - Whatsapp messages
- Show over locksceeen
- Screen turn on for notification
Known Bugs (Please do not report these)
- 2.2 - 3.0 devices - You can only tap the first notification (You'll have to clear the first to get to the second for the moment - Sorry)
- Bubble jumps when on right side of screen
- You may get a notification with no text - if you get this scroll it and the text will appear
- Whatsapp expanded only shows the first message - everything after will say "new message from x"
- Slight margin on the right side
Issues which can not be fixed
- Google Now notifications do not appear in this app
- Kik Messenger notifications do not appear in this app
- Sometimes clicking the notification text the app doesn't launch for a few seconds
- Notifications will not disappear from your notification bar as this is not something that can be done. However if you open the an app the floating notification for that app will automatically close. (Not a bug but worth noting)
If you receive no notifications
Do you have other accessibility services enabled? If so disable them, enable Floating Notifications, then re enable them.
My phone has started reading to me
If you're on a Samsung device see here for a variety of possible fixes (This is a Samsung bug) - https://code.google.com/p/android/is...etail?id=23105
If you're not then ensure TalkBack is disabled, preferably uninstall/freeze it if you don't use it
I'll be posting regular progress updates to the thread but for those who want to follow elsewhere I'll also be posting progress updates to Twitter, G+ and Facebook. The APK however will only remain in this thread (until we hit beta).

Hi,
I was going to write a 4-way reboot mod but decided to have a look around first..
I found Wanam Xposed: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ma.wanam.xposed
This mod requires the Xposed Framework to be installed, you can find the link in the credits.
Installation:
You need root, and you need to be running the Xposed Framework. Install the app from playstore, activate the module via Xposed app, reboot, presto.
Compatibility:
I have only tested this on the i9205 running UAMG4, but frankly this should work on most Samsung 4.2.2 stock firmwares.
Confirmed as working:
- 4 way reboot
- call recording
- transparent notification panel
- circle battery
- remove emergency call button (lock screen)
- custom carrier label (lock screen)
- resizable notification panel toggles
- black/white notification panel toggles
- status bar font size / font weight mods
- spoof "official" device status on rooted/custom devices
- 360 deg. Rotation
Credits:
1. @wanam for the Wanam Xposed mod. Thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2383484
2. @rovo89 for the Xposed framework. Thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
Any screen shots? Do I need to install the Xposed app after installing the Xposed framework or do they come in one package?
Download the app which then allows you to install the framework within. Download the module and activate reboots required as far as I recall

Thanks it works.
I wonder if it is possible to have a switch to turn off the low battery (5%) dimming on Mega.
New update for Wanam from the Play store, now enabling call button on the call log screen without extra work plus more tweaks
Thanks for the update.
A second feature I want badly is to have a notification panel to toggle of "negative colors", accessible from the Settings, My Device, Accessibilty. Maybe a new panel toggle button or to reprogram an existing panel toggle button.
This is awesome, never realised how useful the multiscreen is combined with wanam tweaks. And i can finally get rid of the aweful volume warning. All seem to work flawless for now.

Hey guys. Can someone point me to the setting for the:
- re-sizable notification panel toggles
I cannot find anything for re-sizing the toggles.
The below are how I have the toggles now. I don't think I re-sized them in any way. I only removed the text and change color, if I'm not mistaken.

Silly me. I saw that but I avoided it because it said about Landscape and I assume it only works for landscape orientation.
Thanks dchsub.
Setting it to 7 tiles obviously it displays 7 tiles when I drag the notification down and there're actually smaller.
I have set it to 4 and its fine. It might be the same size as 5 tiles but I happy with it.
Know more about your omnirom...
This guide will familiarize you with some of the unusual techniques and special features you get with omnirom. It doesn't matter if you are using it on galaxy 5 OR any other device.
Let's start
Quick Settings Panel:
First of all please keep in mind what I mean by these:
Pen icon =
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Square icon =
Remove/hide tiles:
--->Click on the pen icon on the Recent Apps panel to start editing tiles.
--->Then, just tap on the tiles that you want to hide/remove. Then, tap the square icon above. Tiles would automatically adjust themselves. If you want this tile back, just click on pen icon and then you'll see the tile you removed (in a smaller tile) and just tap on it again to get it back.
Example:
I have tapped on battery tile because I want to remove it.
Dim the tiles:
--->First of all, tap the pen icon.
--->Start taping on the tile you want to dim, until it turns dim. Usually after 4-5 taps it turns dim.
--->Then, finalize them by clicking square icon.
--->To un-dim, press pen icon and then just long hold it and move around little bit and bring back to its position, it will be normal again and press square icon to finalize.
Example:
I have dimmed battery tile,it's hardly visible.
Flip the tiles:
--->Just swipe right or left on the tile you want to flip.
Example:
I have flipped the battery tile and it looks like this!
I am swiping the battery tile.
Notification drawer contextual top background:
Morning
Afternoon
Night
As you can see in the screenshots, the top background in the notification drawer is changed according to the time.
Enable from Settings > Notification drawer:
Notification drawer quick swipe even better:
Now, you can swipe right/left from anywhere inside notification drawer to go to quick settings panel unlike in cyanogenmod where you had to swipe from a line at the bottom.
Example:
The white dot shows from where i'm swiping right.
OmniSwitch:
Enable from Settings > more... (under Interface). Check the box- 'Use for Recents' and also go to Settings below that option and it will open up a new window. Turn on omniswitch from there also and check 'start on boot' if you want.
To swipe away apps like you do in normal recent apps' screen, just swipe down on the app.
Searching for lockscreen settings?
Go here: Settings > Security > lockscreen.
There are many new options under there compared to cyanogenmod. One of them is 'See through' which will keep your last screen on the lockscreen.
Example:
I was in the launcher last time before locking.
Active Display:
This is really nice feature. When your phone is locked and you get a notification, it will display a special screen which will look as shown in image below. It can also get you to app from which you receive notification and also you can see the notification there if you want.
Example:
But, when this feature is turned on, your lockscreen becomes very unresponsive (maybe a bug). When you press any key to show up the lockscreen, it will take 8-9 seconds to come up the lockscreen.
Wanna change battery indicator?:
Head over to: Settings > Battery.
Want more performance Settings?
Just swipe right like you do in Play Store and you'll get more settings.
Example:
Saw the new download notification?
In omnirom, download notification is more detailed. It displays even the download speed.x
That's it for now...
I want to use gestures to do all my navigation and have a more immersive experience. But I haven't quite found the solution to permanently remove the nav bar. I want it removed so that it doesn't interfere with my gestures and it provides a more immersive experience. Is there a way? Thanks
I use the built-in feature to hide the nav bar. That is to double tap the dot on the left side of it.
For the home screen, I use an app called Granular Immersive Mode to hide it. I use Pixel launcher.
Then I use Edge gesture for gestures. I don't really recommend to hide the nav bar permanently since there may be some situation you really need it, like the gesture app is not functioning properly. Now in case I need it, I swipe up from the bottom of the screen to call it out.
The best way for me so far
I tried almost all app to remove and replace the navigation bar for my Samsung S9 but all of them facing serval crop screen and app UI issue. For example Samsung Internet new tabs alignment, Crop grey backgound when windows popping up (I will attache screenshot below.)
And now I think I found the best way so far to fix all these issue
- "Oneplus Gestures" is best one for me for the alternative app to replace the navigation bar because not like others, the pill of this app is always at the bottom (not shift) and it work on overlays app (ex: FB messenger)
- "Hide Nav Bar" is the app that I choose to remove the native nav bar but for now it has some issue which cropping some app and I have solution for that. You have to enable global immersive mode then exclude the apps that cropped. So far I found these apps need to exclude: Smart Capture, Edge Widget, Instagram, Gallery. By filter immersive mode for these app you could use "Immersive Mode Manager" app or just write this adb command
Code:
adb shell settings put global policy_control immersive.navigation=apps,-com.samsung.android.app.smartcapture,-com.samsung.android.app.widgetedge,-com.instagram.android,-com.sec.android.gallery3d
- Not finish yet, the fix other UI issue (Samsung Internet, Gallery) you need to use "Routines" app belong to Good Lock 2018 app to use Samsung Hide Nav Bar for Samsung Internet and Gallery app.
Then enjoy your edge to edge screen with gesture navigation. This work around fix all my issue when remove and replace navigation bar on my S9. If you find other issue feel free to discuss.
