This is the back battery cover which came by default with my international LG G3. Kindly advice if it’s wireless charging compatible. Refer attached.
Thanks!

Anybody see any wireless charging receivers yet? like the patch one? I am not sure I feel like adding the bulk of the full back plate to the phone. I have never tried these and wonder if the work as well.

Samsung is rolling out a wireless charger for the note 3, you would only have to change the back cover of the phone with one that supports wireless charging.

I have purchased from TigerDirect - many years ago - and they were reliable then. I presume the same is true now... They are I the US and have been in business a long time... I just ordered two charging docks from them.
Note: I have already ordered the wireless charging back cover from Verizon because I actually prefer OEM products and wanted to make sure it was from Verizon as I have the Verizon phone so I know it will be true OEM and work flawlessly...
There are already two other threads discussing wireless charging that could answer you questions:

Two questions I have as far as wireless charging goes. Can I use and qi charging plate? And does the replacement back for the note 3 make it thicker?

the charging back is Qi compatible and yes it makes it thicker, not too much though.
This is one of several Qi receivers on the market. I got it for 16 dollars shipped and waited a couple of weeks. As you'll notice it only has 2 prongs vs 3. This boxed was really taped up tight. I don't really get to the install until around 1:57.
I thought about getting several of these and testing them with all the charging pads I had, but I first wanted to see how popular the topic would be.
Here's a video of me comparing 5 different pads with the Galaxy S4.
If you want to know anything, just ask away.
So after a little use, this particular pad works, but it is the worst experience I've had based on use of the HTC Droid DNA, LG Optimus G Pro, GS3, GS4, and Note 2.
If others want to chime in on which model they purchased, feel free to.

I'm interested in knowing whether the back cover protrudes a bit with the receiver installed ?
You know, does it still stay completely flat or is there a small bump in the back ?
From what i saw in your video it doesn't seem to protrude but i thought I'd better ask just in case.
Does NFC still work with the Qi receiver installed ?
Also, where did you find the info on which of the two contacts you should connect your receiver on and do you know what the third one is for ?

Please don't cross post.
Check the wireless charging thread. It's huge. There are a couple review threads for particular receivers as well.
Note that you will have to solder wires to it and make the connection to the phone yourself. The extended battery is too far away from the wireless charger contacts to install it normally. You must install the receiver over the battery, not under it. The battery would block the charge signal even if the distance were not a problem.
Hi all,
I'm posting this in case anyone else purchases this gear and thinks they can use it like the original battery that comes with the Note 3.
There is another post in this forum that talked about a 50% off code until June, so I bought this:
http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones-accessories/EB-K800BUWESTA
Even with shipping/tax, it only came out to ~$31. I thought great deal.
It arrived and I noticed that you can't use it like you would the original Note 3 battery where I stuck a Qi-enabled sticker on it and could use it to wirelessly charge my spare battery when the main one runs down, figured I'd just buy another Qi-enabling sticker.
Thing showed up and it's NOT Qi-compatible. Meaning, it has no contacts on it that let me attach a Qi sticker. Not sure if it's by design that way but just thought I'd provide a heads up in case anyone else is looking to buy this.

There is two ways to do this,
1 modify the unit to support qi by adding a receiver inside.
2 use a USB receiver or a USB dongle.

1. Are you planning on opening up the battery to do this? Sounds like a lot of work and possibly ruining the battery if you screw it up
2. If you use a USB receiver, aren't you then completely ignoring the point of having wireless charging? I don't think I understand #2 completely.

1 you can open the battery charger that come with the battery and put a qi receiver inside, the battery charger then can be placed on a home transmitter.
2 connect a USB qi receiver through the USB port on the battery charger.
If you actuall want just the battery with qi built in, it's only available for the S3, S4 and note 2, if it's not qi, but supports wireless charging, other batteries are available for older phones models.
Hi guys. I bought my G3 few months ago. Its not a new one, I bought it as second hand but condition is 99,99%.
As the information I got from the seller its D855 Vodafone - International.
So my question is as those images i shot on my back case is this true that my phone can use with a Qi charging pad right away now or not?
Because after searching through the net, I didn't find any information about Qi charging relate to G3 Vodafone.
The receiver on my back case has 4 pins (as I know 2 is for NFC, and the other 2 will be for Qi charging).
The problem is I went to other shop (not really a shop, this guy just shipped items from China), he was selling some Qi charging pad. I put on 1 pad there but nothing happen, try many angles but still the same.
So whats the problem, my phone or his pad?
And here my back case. Thanks for your feed back and sorry for my bad English:
Yes, it should work.
If it doesn't work with the Chinese charger it's because the charger...

Make sure the golden square hits the ones on the back of the phone
Is there anyway i can get qi wireless charging on my f400s by buying a back cover which supports qi?
Qi works out of the box
Yes your G3 should be Qi compatible out of the box...I have a Panasonic, and Nokia Qi Charger, and they start working about 2 seconds after I place them on the charge pad.
Just FYI, the G4 on the other hand isn't Qi Compatible out of the Box...Go figure, I guess Quick Charge 2.0 is the better standard...=(
