Hey, I'm currently stuck with the THL 4400.
A friend gave it to me, because he was not able to move apps to the SD-Card, not even with apps and root.
Long story short, I'm not able to fix it.
He got one with android 4.2 so the first thing I did was flashing the official 4.4, with no effect.
As far as I know, every THL 4400 user experiences this "bug".
I read that there should be a custom rom available to fix this, and that you can swap the internal space with the SD-Card.
Has anyone here fixed this, or know how to fix it? I can't find this custom rom others are talking about, and I don't know how to swap the space on this phone (Is it the same as the int to ext flash on other phones?).
Thanks in advance
Hi mate. Did you get anywhere with this? I'm having the same issue right now with my other half's phone. Moved as much as I can but she still gets the no space error.

Hello to everyone;
To start with I suppose I must introduce myself:
My name is Manu from México and I am a proud owner of a Samsung Galaxy Ace since three months ago.
During this time I had played with it and its stock ROM with 2.3.4 from carrier Telcel, I rooted it and removed bloatware from the carrier, the result was really nice; even thou after some apps the internal space run out, and therefore the responsiveness of my phone also got cluttered.
About a week ago or so I decided to go beyond and flashed "CyanogenMod 7.1-cooper-KANG-RC1 Android 2.3.7" so I tested it for a while and even thou I found many improvements, many bugs were unbearable for the phone use I’m used to; so I switched back to a Stock Rom and flashed "S5830SERKPO" with 2.3.5. and my regional modem.
In addition I did this process to Deodex + root "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1118048&highlight=DEODEX” the result in my personal opinion is very good, but I’m back to the beginning. IM RUNNING OUT OF SPACE FOR INTERNAL STORAGE AND THE PHONE STARTS TO ACT LAGGY
I have read about s2e, link2sd and darktremor a2sd; where is require to partition your SD (which I already have also done with CMW at no avail) and I have finally ended up with a program called Install Manager 3.5.1 which promises to do move apps to SD (as far as they are executed locally from an .apk file and not market)
So... after this entire intro, and to avoid any flaming against me: I have read many many posts and have ended up overwhelmed and more confused.
¿Can someone please help me into the best way (in terms of stability and performance) to manage my apps to the SD card with a stock ROM?
(If possible a detailed explanation please, remember I have Stock "S5830SERKPO" with 2.3.5. and my regional modem)
Thanks a lot.
Also let me say I had read this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1172684
But I get lost into "make sure the rom supports it" and therefore not sure if this applies to S5830SERKPO 2.3.5
Well, seems that my post is getting to much attention yet... still, I have an update; today during the course of the day, two times the phone screen turns off and it does not come back until I remove the battery.
The phone continues to work... (the radio still plays, calls continue, etc) just the screen turns off without any means to turn it on.
Hope someone can guide into how to find a better solution for my need.
Probably the easiest way to fix that is to install a ROM from the dev section (make sure it supports A2SD) Cyanogenmod is not official for our Ace, wich means lots of bugs, but other Customs Roms should be ok for you.
Create a ext4 and swap with CWM in your sd card (reboot into recovery, advanced, create sd partitions) Open the A2SD app and turn the swap on, move applications.
Had my phone for a few months now and at the moment its rooted and ive installed a few roms on it. At the moment ive using Omega Rom which i do like apart from a few issues. Camera always asks me to install SD card.... even though its in. Anyway, not bothered with that for now.
Got 2 options at the moment.
1 - Unroot and install stock Samsung Firmware. I want to do this as there are 2 apps that dont work with a rooted phone which id like to use. Samsung Video App and NowTV. Id like the samsung app to work as when i 1st purchased my phone i had free credit to spend on it and i purchased a few films on there which ive never got round to watching. As for NowTV and possibly SkyGo, i need my phone rooted for these to work,
2 - Stick with a rooted phone and custom firmware. Im keeping an eye out for the new JellyBam v6 which hopefully is released this weekend.
Ideally id like to have the Jellybam rom installed with my phone unrooted. Would this be possible??
SuperUser app -> remove root

hi guys, it's my first post so i hope i'm in the right place.. just flashed jellybam v6.7.0 onto my phone and it's amazing, so smooth and quick compared to stock android jellybean.. however, i've got a constant message in my notification bar that says "blank SD card" and it won't let me mount SD, it keeps forcing me to format but i don't want to lose all my data. i've tried the card in my computer and it's definitely not corrupted, and all the data is still there. has anyone got any ideas what the problem is or how i can fix it?
many thanks in advance,
cheers

you're not in the right place, this is someone else's post. you should have posted in the Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting under a new thread. if your sd card works in you PC, transfer all your stuff over and format it, then try it!
Hi,
I have a ZTE 967S. Had it for a few years, it came rooted with a standard Chinese ROM. I'd like to install a new rom but I'm useless at this, however I can say that the recovery mode is in Chinese which certainly doesn't help!
My problem is I was having a lot of problems coping with only 4GB ROM, although I think the partitions must be wrong because I could barely install more than two applications like facebook.
Anyway I downloaded a program to free up space, deleted some unimportant core apps like hangouts etc but now I'm unable to install any new applications on the handset.
I just wondered what you think may be the best solution to this? I've looked about installing a new rom but would this require me to install Mobile Tools on the phone? which is obviously a little difficult now. Is there another way?

Hi guys, it's my first post here and I apologize if I'm wrong place to write
I updated my LG G2 mini to Android 5.0.2 (stock with OTA) and unfortunately I noticed that now my system data occupies approximately 5 GB of memory (and my phone has 8GB of internal memory)
The problem now is that I have no more space to update all my applications, so I ask here if it was possible to eliminate something, or if it was necessary to install a ROM.
I notice that I've never done any kind of mod to the phone, so I am a complete novice .
I'd rather have still Android 5.0.2, but I would be fine also a modified ROM, also to reduce the use of space, battery and more.
Finally, I add that I still have one year warranty, and if it were possible I would like to preserve it, but if you say that applying a mod the phone will get better, then accept all your tips
A lot of thanks in advance and sorry again
Hello, I'm new to XDA and would appreciate some help for an issue I'm having with my phone, I have a Blu Studio 5.0S in which I flashed a custom ROM based on MIUI v5 with Jelly Bean, my phone had a stock Jelly Bean ROM, I don't know if I'm doing the flashing steps right because I am wiping Data, Cache and Dalvik Cache only, even tho, I wiped System too once and the issue persists.
My phone has 4GB storage in 2 partitions, one for the system and the second one is used as SD when there's no SD in, but if I do put an SD in, that second partiton stops working as SD (If I had Apps installed in it, they won't work), and is mounted as "USB Storage/Internal SD", now, that's the normal way it is supposed to work, but when I flashed the custom ROM, MIUI keeps detecting my SD as Phone Storage (The second partition that is useless for installing apps in it) and detects the second partition as Phone Storage, What I want is to keep the MIUI based ROM but having my storage in the right order, otherwise I have a 32GB SD useless and a phone running out of space for my apps. I did not find any help in the threads and I'd really appreciate if someone can help me to solve this problem, sorry if my english is not that clear and thanks in advance.
You won't find much MIUI help here. Not many people really use it and the only ones that work on it are porters.

To be honest Where ever you got the rom from. As the MIUI developers sont deal with bug reports that come from non Xiaomi devices, it is closed source so cant really do a whole lot other wise.

That's what I did, posting the question in the thread from where I got the ROM, just afraid none's gonna reply since the one guy who was dealing with this stuff doesn't own such devide now and stopped testing stuff, I just thought if the problem has something to do with the kind of partitions in one and other system someone would guide me to look for a way to solve my problem by myself.
Thanks a lot Mr. Zelendel, a hug from Colombia!
So... I just found out that this ROM had an App (In mandarin chinese) to switch the Internal Storage and External Storage (SDCard0- SDCard1), and that's one of the first Apps I was uninstalling every time I flashed, I have no idea if this is an App made by Xiaomi or the porter of this

did something about it, but now I can say this ROM is perfect and works very smoothly on my device.
