Custom navbar spacing - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there an xposed module which allows you to edit the spacing between the navbar icons?
The guy who does the xda Tuesdays had a setup where the navbar icons where widely spaced and im really digging it...
I'm using the xstana module and have the prime version but the spacing option doesn't seem to change anything.
Any ideas?

status bar questions

Is there a way that I can completely get rid of the status bar and soft keys or at least hide them. It just gets in the way, it messes up my wallpaper and I don't need them because I used app savior
If I can't hide it what is the dimensions of the status bar so I can make a wallpaper according
Does anybody have a template to make a wallpaper fit or at least the pixel ratio
Your launcher should have an option to hide the status bar, most third party launchers offer the option...
look in the tablet section of CM settings. also extra setting in other launchers

[REQ] Some of gravity box features.

Would be nice if I could add procantege next to the battery, see date in status bar and swipe from notifications to quick settings...I would love those ”small” things

the thing I miss most from gravity box is the "hide error pattern" in the lockscreen
because when you did a mistake, it is very easy with the red pattern for someone else to find out your pattern
Anyone knows how to enable battery icon theming in PA's SystemUI? None of the Xposed modules seem to work

did you mean change icon..?
setting-battery-battery theme.. upper side of screen.. it should be there if that you mean..
Yup I know that. I meant custom icons using Xposed modules
The big features in PA are great, like Hover, Pie etc.
But there are so many "mall" features missing in 4.4.
Mainly customisation options like NavBar Buttons etc.
I would love to see those added to PA.

changing position and size of individual nav bar button

Is there a way to change the size and position of the buttons in the nav bar individually? perhaps by editing a file?
i'm currently using an xposed module that has them scaled and sized evenly across the nav bar, but i want to change them manually to my liking.

To manually edit the navigation bar you need to modify the SystemUI.apk.
Another way is to install the Ultimate Dynamic Navbar app.

UDN has all the customizations i want, but i'm not a fan of the auto-hiding nav bar

[Q] Disable all apps fullscreen in kitkat?

Hello.
I just installed KitKat from http://forum.xda-developers.com/oma...rom-omate-truesmart-ironman-firmware-t2998434 and it looks like most apps launch in fullscreen mode and I have trouble getting the status bar back anywhere except from the default launcher.
Is there a way to disable this "fullscreen by default" setting anywhere?

No, this is changed in the ROM. We do not know how it is done, the Umeox/MediaTek changes are hidden.
The change is different from 4.2, so SwipeStatusBar very seldom work.
The workaround is rooting, Xposed, GravityBox and enabling Expanded Desktop.
Permanent status bar
I finally have a working PoC for permanently enabling the status bar in every app, and will try to build an Xposed module to control the visibility of the status bar in these smart watches. I'll be back
Edit:
I'm back.
Xposed module to enable the status bar in (most) launchers:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/truesmart-status-bar-custom-launchers-t3063624
(N.B! Only tested on a 4.4 ROM)

It can be done without rooting the phone and installing unstable software. Check for ADB and / or
'Setting database editor' app. There is a setting in it to change navigation bar height.
Unable to the find settings
It's a good idea. But I can't seem to find the exact settings leading to "Navigation Bar Height" inside the Database Settings App.
I also tried Hex Installer, successfully changed the navigation bar. But no new string shower up in Database Settings App.
You can use Hex Installer for this (it's on play store)
Yeah but what sucks about Hex is, you're applying a theme.
And in Samsung OneUI, applying a theme means = Same notification heading colour for ALL APPS.
People want their notifications to have different colours. Like red Youtube, teal Twitter, blue FB, purple Discord

It's an issue with OneUI Theme Engine.
So I'm trying to find a way of changing NavBarHeight w/o applying a frigging theme
