Hello MT6592 users,
I created CyanogenMod 12 for the Kingzone K1 Turbo. I got in the development thread many port requests and help requests from MT6592 user. When you have problems in porting my CyanogenMod to your device then ask here.
I won't answer here everytime but maybe other users can help you also.

For run it on MTK6592 i replace "kernel" file in boot.img from stock rom. But i have more problems, no mounting, no gsm and etc...
Need edit fstab.mt6592 and init.mt6592.rc, but i dont know how. Who run it on MTK6592 and fix more problems? Write please how do it.

Instructions for porting CyanogenMod 12.1 to your MediaTek 6592 by Kingzone K1 Turbo!
1) Extract system.new.dat
2) Change in the firmware folder system / bin: and system / lib: on your rom! (Stock should be Kitkat)
3) the right to ramdisk.
Here I was in the file fstab.mt6592 your fstab! from your ramdisk, further change INITS.
Again, changing the kernel and kernel_headers on your phone! Again, it is desirable to Kitkat that would be!
Then we collect the firmware, install and enjoy it all works. if you still do not see the network!
Parse file fstab.mt6592 change your fstab> to change the text from a file from your fstab file ramdisk replace fstab.mt6592 of ramdisk from CM12.1
If you do not start! then change the file mtk-ril.so and everything associated with ril from your devaysa of bin: / lib: leave the rest up to par! You can even replace init.modem.rc to your meta_init.modem.rc and add a file or how you got there again, replace the text in init.mt6592
What you need to specifically change a file fstab.mt6592 "opens your fstab of your ramdisk, further description of the initialization sections of the text is copied to the replacement file fstab.mt6592" I think it will be clear!
If the firmware is still run! but there is no network, and also writes in setting Baseband Unknown, then change its these files.
- / System / bin: Rild
- / System / lib: mtk-ril.so, libril.so, librilmtk.so, librilmtkmd2.so, librilutils.so, mtk-rilmd2.so
it should suffice that have risen baseband!

i have fixed most of the bugs i will come up with a guide soon waiting for another MT6592 device to arrive so i can test if the process which i am using to fix bugs in my 1st MT6592 will work on the 2nd MT6592

yes SIM is working 3G also some bugs on 3G though will be fixed

nope i just borrowed my friends phone and did the whole process again and boom not working i will soon get my other MT6592 so i can work on it longer without having to worry about damaging it

I have a 'teclast p81HD' Chinese tablet, which was released with Android 2.3 and later they released 4.0.1.
It is based on RockChip RK2918 CPU
CPU: Cortex A8 1G
RAM: 512 MB
Since Android 4.4 has just been released, I was thinking to compile it from source code and flash it to the device.
By following this guide, every thing should be easy.
One problem is, I don't have the "proprietary binaries", but I have the stock img file of 4.0.1. Is there a way to extract the binaries from the img file ?

Update: the link for the tablet was updated with a more descriptive one.

1. move your *.img file in "_In" folder
2. open Runme.bat in cmd
3. run the "init Tools" command
4. Confirm the copy request
It will then create two folders "Pack" and "Unpack". According to your command the new files will be created in the respective folder
i.e. If you choose to unpack the img file, new files will be created in the "Unpack" folder

Maybe "Total Commander" does the trick? There is a free Demo Version available. TC helped me out a lot of times when nothing else worked...
First you need to run s2img (not sure about the name) it is part of the CM tree. After that you can mount it as a loopback device.
out/host/linux-x86/bin/simg2img system.img system.img.raw
mount -o loop system.img.raw /mnt
already done from beginning first Rom was out....

That could have multiple causes: antivirus software, low class sdcard, usb port old version (1.1, 1.2), bad cable, etc. It's not related to recovery.
@carliv, i have tried the recovery that you have tag for me but, it does not work... It does not boot into recovery , it just loop into a normal way of booting.... Is this already tested? Or I am the first who tried it?
Update: I guess I'm wrong, I have tried to flash it again with an updated Rasher tool and it works but it take a long time to flash it . Thanks Sir @carliv, by any chance who ported it sir?
Sir @carliv , so now that you have verified that it is working with our device you can now add our unit myphone agua rio v2 (with version 2 because theres a myphone agua rio v1 with a jellybean os)

For flashing recovery on Mediatek phones is better to use Mobileuncle from phone or SPflashtools from PC. Some people said Flashify works too, but I didn't checked.
I did the port for this recovery, because I did that for other phones too and I thought to do it for this one too. You were lucky I found infos about the phone online, because you didn't provided any.
Ok, I'll add it on working device list, since the test was successful.

@carliv, when i try to mount the sdcard0 it keeps on saying "Error Mounting /storage/sdcard0". What would be the problem with that? Is it in the recovery.fstab? Btw, i enjoy using it now. Thanks again so much

It's the voldmanager number for internal sdcard, probably wrong - I told you I didn't have any info about your phone since you didn't provide something, and as I don't even seen this phone I can't know what is that number. If you change that in fstabs it will work well.

Usually the fat block number in dumchar_info is the voldmanaged number, but sometimes you need to look in the phone. There are few methods to find that through adb commands. Search here on xda and you will find that somewhere.

Hm, you easily skip my first clue, which is the easiest one (posting the dumchar_info) and jump to the hardest part, searching the voldmanaged numer in the phone (usually the content of /dev/block/vold will tell you that in a regular phone)....

Ok, first, if you quote one of my posts don't use mention too (@).
Second, your phone has an emulated internal sdcard. Post here a stock boot and recovery image from kitkat rom. If external sdcard is working, make a backup and copy from it the boot and recovery images if you don't have in official ROM.

You can create a scatter file with the use of MTKdroid Tools... After creating scattter file use that to flash ur recovery. You can also flash ur recovery without using flashtool, just install rashr tool.apk or mobileuncle tool to flash it via mobile.

Is there no available dump rom for your unit available in the internet? Try to find someone who is similar with your phone then ask him to do a full back up using mtkdroidtools then ask him to send to you the created scatter file
hey there i just made a systemdump for n3n 5.1.1 based on n7505 but shouldnt be much changes between n750
all files are there noone is deleted so fully stock
feel free to use it as base without permission also no need to give credit if you use them in a project

2. First make a backup of your current system only in TWRP, so that if any thing goes wrong, you can restore, and everything will be like before.
3. place file in sd card and flash through twrp.

Rename it according to your current overlay folder name.YOU WILL GET SEPARATE CALL OPTIONS FROM BOTH SIMS AND SMS.
Kindly check it and give feed back.
REMEMBER, BACK UP YOUR CURRENT OVERLAY FOLDER BEFORE THIS TO OVER COME ANY PROBKEM LATER.

Flashing this, Will I lose root? Can you explain better the "overlay" thing? Where do I find the overlay folder in my phone?

no, you will not loose root. overlay folder is in cust

hammad bhai mjhe dual sim call option chahiye.kia app kam kr rahe hain is pe?ya kr denge agar apke pas time ho r samsung ki traha swipe contact right to call left to msg ho jai kia bat.peshgi shukriya

Dear sorry for late response, i am kind of busy in job and some other workings for v20. will check the issues and when get free time, will try to upload dual sim option.
