I am currently rooted on 23C lollipop with TWRP installed. Can I just flash the 12b modem img in twrp and then flash CM12? I could do this on my G2. Thanks.

So I go into TWRP and click to flash image. It gives me the option to flash either a recovery image or boot image. What do I do now?

verizon g3 android development/ jasmine rom thread/ post #4= flashable files. not flash2, however that method can be used if you want to make it more difficult.

I'm hoping someone can clear up something for me. This is a screenshot of my baseband version. As you can see it's ME7, but I can flash any rom just fine without safestrap. This shouldn't work, right? Am I missing something or just being a dum dum?

You're on mdk with loki but with me7 baseband or as you can maybe say radio version. Just like HTC having its own radios and you can flash a newer version through recovery.

Not 100% accurate. The latest radio is MJ7. Currently the only correct way to apply it is to flash via Odin.

I'm trying to find it too, one that I can flash using only the phone, through bootloader or TWRP. I downloaded the 4.4 OTA, but forgot that I need to flash back to the stock recovery.

i got the recovery file from the OTA file. Updated the rom after reflashing stock recovery.
Thanks for the link though
can I use flashify, or any other app, to install a new radio? i have a file called dlx_baseband_1.01.01.1112.zip.
is this flashable using recovery? is there a version that is flashable in recovery or flashify?
are there recovery/flashify versions of the newest hboot?
i'm having trouble doing it the "regular" way

Fastboot straight up doesn't work on many Windows 8 computers. It's a Windows driver problem, but it still affects a lot of us in the custom dev community.
To answer the OP's question...the Flashify software DOES support flashing radios, but not for the DNA, unfortunately.
I posted a recovery flashable radio in my stock Rom thread.
It's also linked to in my sense 6 Rom threads OP.

Everytime I follow the directions to install a custom recovery, via the TWRP app, it always soft bricks my phone. I've tried the Loki method and that gives me errors. I'm rooted, I just want to be able to install a lollipop rom :'(
Do you have an mdk boot loader?
Sent from my SCH-I545 using XDA Free mobile app
Yeah, Triscuit is right. If you aren't using an MDK bootloader, you can't flash a custom recovery (i.e. TWRP, ClockworkMod). Without a custom recovery, you also cannot flash most custom ROMs (such as Cyanogenmod). I found this out the hard way after a week of blood/sweat/tears trying to flash CM12 on the NC5 bootloader.

He's right and I'll add that it is very easy to hard brick your phone flashing a wrong recovery.
