So since today is officially my 2nd day with the device I noticed something a bit off.
The notification light is not blinking as frequently or the colors I was able to on my previous rooted device (not the LG G4)
Was able to find the right application to modify this and best part it doesn't require root to work.
I've set all how I've wanted and am once again content with the G4 experience.
Lite version to test if you'd like (Free):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ledblinker
There is a paid version which I highly recommend in case you need the added features (I currently have this one installed)

Requires root?
Update: says it does not need root.

Light Flow has been the solution to this for many devices

Another app but that one required super user permissions.

That may be correct but I recommend this app as I am not encountering issues or problems at all.

Can you set it to do 3 led colors really fast per app? Like a cop car? Blackberry use to be able to do police car led colors... Red, white, blue really fast. Was awesome.

Yup would like to see that too, also the discoball for incoming calls etc. The way the led notifications apps are is way to simple [emoji2]

You might not find it useful but the default one is too slow unless you're looking at your phone for more than a few seconds sometimes. I'll take this app anyday.
No one wants a discoball on their phone by the way

Excellent! tnx mate
Hey guys, i just noticed something on my Acro S which is think is really cool and i am not sure if anyone else noticed, the led notification color change based on the app sending the notification, for example when i get a message on Y! messenger it blinks purple, Facebook blue, etc, i am not sure if it works with all the apps but it's a nice touch by Sony.
Just to add on, it blinks Green for Google Talk notifications.
Red for zynga poker!

May be thats why sony included whatapp in some of the firmwares... to OP if u meant led blink on top left .. its there on most of xperia 2012 atleast...(multicolour blink)
This isn't very unique... All Motorola smartphones and most HTC's have the same "feature"... It's a tri-color LED, so it is quite logical that it is possible to make it blink in different colors, if the app supports it and sets a color.
Xperia S can manage Red, Blue, Green and White I believe. Use LightFlow app if you are rooted.
Even my old ****ty x8 had it

no..its still there
Settings > Language & Keyboard > HTC Sense Input >Trace Keyboard
here you have to check Trace Keyboard
and u're done
I am missing the complete block with the checkbox. I compared the desire x with my hox and the place where the checkbox normally is, is not there anymore.

What update did you get ?
Update to Android 4.1.1. With sense 4+ build 2.23.114.1. My girlfriend got it yesterday. I already searched for the answer but I haven't found any reports about this issue.

Contacted HTC. Is not a bug, its a feature. They just removed a completely good working item in a update.

Few tricks and here we have it
There is possibility to identify events of fingerptint-scanner even if it is only a touch,
it is probable that in the future I'll make more usage of it in other app
stay tuned

First off there's no root, and making a higher refresh mod is super dangerous for the screen and a highly idiotic move.
I am trying to find this too!
there are already people working on it
Such nonsense if the hardware is not made for that..
So the display will be broken over time...[emoji849]

But the g8 screen is capable of 120 hz. According to someone, the metaphysics 1.2 kernel might support it when it releases
