thanks will give one a shot

tried 1st one - drains power from phone instead of poviding it (when using supplied power cable). doesn't provide power to usb/SD adapter either
not sure whether to risk money on the rest now

sorry I cant se a charging port on the first picture.
The one in the middle has the icon for dc power. Just as it would provide charging power if you connect a normal charger there and then the device into the phone.
I have never had one of these so I cant provide any real life info or review of these devices. But damn u got a hold of one of those quick. It would take me a month to get one of those to my mailbox if I ordered it now.
edit:
it also states it will charge
"2. Charging when you connected the micro usb cable."

It was ages since i shopped there.
amazon is just a ripoff shít page.. they selling everything overpriced with shipping costing more than the item... and combining that with tax and import fee and the possible difference in currency from when total cost is calculated to when the total amount is withdrawn.
You could buy ten units for the price of one unit from Amazon at ebay or aliexpress.
eh... i dont live in a country where amazon is based. Nearest amazon is German amazon. It works using translation at every step until u get order confirmation

eh? it was £5 delivered next day and the ebay link is $6 minus postage to UK so not that bad i think

from china (which to be fair can be quick delivery, or take a while) versus the convenience of having it the next morning when ordering late afternoon?
plus returns have to be considered (as i'm doing with this).
i'm not against ebay and use it a lot, but some things i want "now". not a week or 3 later and willing to pay more for that hence amazon - and only amazon prime and their lockers.

you can ask seller to send the parcel with singapost as they are very fast with delivery. And you can always return item without any problems.
You can also use some social engineering to get refund without even sending the item back. U can also get a new item on top of the refund.
Social engineering is a bit harder with Amazon depending with what office you reach when opening a ticket. Just because amazon has a whole department of people working to prevent these costumers by making it harder. A lot harder.
I agree with you. But I only pay more if I know exactly what item i need. Like a specific spare part if im in a hurry.

heh, i know what you mean about the engineering. i know someone who does that with everyone.
usually when i want something that's not a spare part then i want it asap. a spare hdmi cable or something i can wait and will buy off ebay

They've been claiming its available soon for months now.
I've been checking this site out because they seem to be the cheapest, however if anyone knows of an alternative location where I can get this desktop charging cradle for as close to £19.53 please let me know.
Thanks

Let you know when I get it on the build. Mobilefun have a big problem with getting in stock with new phone items. Took me 4odd weeks to get my diamond desktop cradle!
I got the deluxe cradle from eXpansys as a bundle together with the phone. The price was reasonable that way but if you want to get the cradle on its own, the current price is a lot more expensive there than mobilefun. Also my phone arrived first and had to wait for the cradle more than a week so I guess there aren't many of them around at the moment.
Ebay for 22 pounds has it but it is simple and ugly...but I bought it anyways...
As for what was written on the ebay one you found I got that one too, just ordered it last night, but it not at all nice, or very good looking it seems...Have you seen the blackberry all nickel and black holder...now thats a telephone cradle!!!
I made one myself.....

I'm in oz, I am having the same problem with the, 'available soon' down here also, so I gave the g/f a job to do while she is in the UK.
She has found, as you have, that even the stores that are showing 'in stock' actually dont have any.
One store has told us, 'they had them but have run out but are getting more stock this friday'.
IF they do get them, AFTER the g/f grabs mine, I'll post which shop here.
( price is £22.95 )
try the one from dealextreme, its good
its does his job
Arrived a few days ago brought it off ebay from hong kong only one seller so far
fits snuggly but little hard to get off one handed. Probably it will loosen up.
Lid to the spare battery charger is a bit flimsy worried I will snap it off.
Back has usb power input and usb to your pc.
Does the job and looks nice
bad points are that the lid is flimsy and the blue light that is at the front is very bright, if your like me you have the charger next to your bed then you dont really want a lit up blue room. I will try a black marker to make the light smaller might help maybe not?!

Note that is not the duluxe model but a different one.
http://www.idedata.no/butikk/butikk.asp?m=5&b=295
ordered mine from mobile fun on wednesday afternoon and it arrived yesterday morning - less that 24 hours
it is nice and sturdy, but really required 2 hands to remove the phone because it is so light, but then i guess it would have to weigh a fair bit to allow one handed operation.
As mentioned before the spare battery cover is flimsy as hell but seeing as I dont have a spare battery - this doesnt concern me.
Overall - very happy, it comes with a USB lead AND a wall charger so you can sync to pc and charge at full mains speed.
Well worth £20!

Thats amazing
It all depends on the price the different companies are able to buy the parts in for.
Straight off, the fact that this 'netimes' lot seem to be US-based will drastically affect such factors.
Not to mention, eXpansys are a reliable, known company whereas I've never heard of his over lot - you've got more protection buying though eBay than with them.
the car chargers certainly are different models, the expansys one is htc original, has the correct code and is the right price (ive bought one, expansys and htc are same price as are other stores that supply the htc made one)
the nettimes charger has a different code and is listed as "non-oem". i suspect you will not get the charger that is pictured

Yes I see what your saying and I usually buy from Expansys, but I have also bought of etimes for accessories and there service and business has been just as good as any and with the savings you make you can afford so much more or just save the money. I always look around for the best prices but that site is quite amazing.
I have just read my post and it looks like I am trying to sell the site but I have nothing to do with them, I was just a wee bit shocked.

just ordered the same one
seeing as the price from htc is so much higher than these reported "non oem" ones that look the same and have the same codes
i can only guess these are chinese fakes. as i cannot reconcile why htc would sell them retail at £15.99 yet supply them to resellers at such a low wholesale price that the reseller can afford to sell then at £3.11 (the $4.39 quoted)
i for one am not prepared to risk £500 worth of kit with a potentially forged charger
im even tempted to buy one of these very cheap ones and compare to my genuine (as i bought it from the HTC store) charger, side by side should be able to see differences
edit again!
little point in comparing pictures you get from webstores, as the non oem webstore could just copy the picture from an official suppliers website
ppps edit!
this domain is registered through a domain by proxy registrant, through godaddy in the US. all the registrant details are "protected" and therefore cannot be traced. the contact pages contain a webform only, there is no physical address to be found anywhere nor any telephone contact details. i see at the bottom of the page it has a link for hong kong post..... ?points to being a chinese website to me which to me always suggests fakes
also of possible note, traceroute dies at washington, that might suggest its in the US, but then again
i dont trust it to be genuine equipment
When I receive mine , I will make detailed pictures to compare it side by side with the original one. Hope this will help.

Mains Charger & USB cable in stock - ASUS UK

Asus uk shop has the charger and USB cable in stock now for £24.99 with a free delivery offer. Ordered one this afternoon and already got the confirmation that its been shipped. Not bad when you consider it includes the very rare USB cable.
The link is //shop.asus.co.uk/shop/gb/en-GB/Home/3-Accessories/11-Batteries--Powers/88-Adapters/90-XB2VOKPW00010Y-ASUS-Eee-Pad-Transformer-TF101-Adapter-%28with-EURO--UK-Plugs%29.aspx
EDIT: Looks like free delivery was only for a few days, now adds £6 but if the total order is over £30 you would get free super saver delivery, hope that helps.
Just ordered one of these, as I snapped the topmost prong off the plug during some hasty unplugging - ages ago and have'nt since taken the plug out the wall. Thanks for the nudge!

Possibly-useful information for anyone considering ordering one: I ordered a charger for £24.99 inc free delivery from ASUS UK on Friday August 12th; it arrived today, 17th - so that's about three working days.
The charger they've sent is an 0B-3LF (or OB-3LF), as opposed to the 2LF which came with my device originally. The new charger has some superficial labelling differences but appears from the outside to be identical. Some subjective testing suggests it does not get as hot as the original but I can't be certain about that.
They also included, unbidden, a free micro-fibre cleaning cloth thing which is quite cute (has a sticky side for attaching it to the device for storage). To my mind that brings the total value of what I received to about £10-worth, not £24.99 - but what are you going to do?!
How long is the cable?

Well, I know everyone will be *amazed* by this, but...

...it's *exactly* the same length as the original.
At the shop.asus.co.uk website the price I see:
£24.99 ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101 Adapter (with EURO & UK Plugs)
£6.00 Ship by UPS (buy over £30 merchandise it is free shipping)
(£5.17 Tax Included)
--------
£30.99 Total for one (1), or
£49.98 Total for two (2) with free shipping.
If I buy over £30 merchandise it is free shipping, but is there some coupon or other deal for cheaper?
Did I miss something?
====
UPDATE:
Thanks @maxh2005 I corrected my calculation above, you are correct the tax is included.
I guess it is worth buying two or something else to get free shipping.

Seems they had an offer on free shipping when I placed my order, because they charged me £24.99 in total. But I just tried shop.asus.co.uk and at the moment it's quoting £24.99 plus £6 shipping, making a total of £30.99 of which £5.17 is VAT.

Just done exactly the same myself.
Just the plastic top lug, so now when i plug it in i have to use a pencil to open up the top hole in the socket before pushing the adapter in.
Not paying 30 quid for a new one unless i have to.
If Asus would only sell just the clip on uk bit, I mean they are selling the kit with other country adapters included.
Suppose if i do buy a new one though then I could fit the euro bit onto the old one so i would then have 2 chargers, the euro one could then be used with a euro to uk travel adapter.

Theres actually a far far more dubious reason for this. Never ever buy from these sellers. Example:
Going Price: $100
Seller: $10 + $75 S&H
Deceptive, but still below market cost right? Ok you get the item and its damaged, or a more likely a knock off. You contact the seller ticked off. He then apologizes and offers a refund to which you agree. You return the item on costing you $12 shipping costs then check your paypal and there is your refund of $10, because the rest was S&H. eBay is fighting these people and canceling their ads if reported, but many many people have been scammed and continue to be.
It cost me $3.97 cuz I gotta amazon prime

Moduul LG G Watch Dock - Aluminum, wood + uses LG charging brick

Hi G Watch owners,
Just thought you might want to check out our current Indiegogo campaign for a G Watch charging dock.
it uses the LG G Watch charging brick to create a desktop/bedside table stand so you can actually view and use the g watch while it's charging without using two hands.
Also acts as a pretty nifty bedside table clock.
It's made out of premium aluminum and timber for the high quality look and feel.
Check out the campaign if you get a sec.

Awesome!!
I really like this stuff!!
This looks great, thanks for sharing
Ack 22 for shipping. So the early birds total cost for outside Australia is 57USD for a dock. And I am not sure I am going to keep the LG G Watch when either the GWAR or Moto360 is released.
Nice idea.

Very nice but it's very expensive for me
Will be getting one..
Will look great on my desk..
You need to cut open a slot on the side so people with steel watch bands can connect.
If you look on the site, they have included that..

22$ shipping outside of Australia completely killed this for me. The shipping is like 2/3 the base price. That's crazy.
Hey Everyone,
Thanks for the interest in the Moduul.
We've taken on some feedback and have opened it up so the Moduul now works with Closed loop watch bands.
Check it out on Indiegogo.. http://igg.me/at/moduul-gwatch-dock/x/8434738
We also now support the G Watch R!
More devices will be supported as we get details for charging methods and dimensions. stay tuned.
Thanks,
Yianni - Team Aerios.

Hey, glad to see you here But, as other members said, the biggest problem here is the 22$ shipping fees :/
I should go to Australia in 4-5 months, so i'll probably grab one from there, 2/3 of the price just for the shipping is literally too much for me :/

I'd be very willing to get one if it didnt cost so much for shipping.
Any new models releasing?
By the time this product is released, the G Watch will have been superceded by another device.
I don't know if you're already going to do this but... It would be a good idea to sell the stand, then have pieces that slot in. One for G-watch, one for Gear Live, one for G Watch R etc.
$6.99 off of eBay for the Braketron Nanotek stand (used to be at Best Buy). Cut a small slit on the side for a metal band with a Dremel tool, and the Nanotek sticky part sticks the charger in just the right angle. So even with buying a second charger for the watch from Google, this comes up to less than $30 for a clean looking watch stand!
It's about $48 USD to get one moduul shipped to the us.
Would anyone be interested in starting a bounty esque thread where we could get enough people pledged, and say order 20 units? The website is stating only $25 aus to ship 20 units. And I'm sure shipping one of these as a first class package would be $2 or less. I dunno. I guess it's a lost cause.
At least a guy at shapeways has a design up for the g watch r. Not the original g watch tho.
My battery lasts 4 days and spends so little time charging anyway but I'm a sucker for this thing I swear lol.
