Asus uk shop has the charger and USB cable in stock now for £24.99 with a free delivery offer. Ordered one this afternoon and already got the confirmation that its been shipped. Not bad when you consider it includes the very rare USB cable.
The link is //shop.asus.co.uk/shop/gb/en-GB/Home/3-Accessories/11-Batteries--Powers/88-Adapters/90-XB2VOKPW00010Y-ASUS-Eee-Pad-Transformer-TF101-Adapter-%28with-EURO--UK-Plugs%29.aspx
EDIT: Looks like free delivery was only for a few days, now adds £6 but if the total order is over £30 you would get free super saver delivery, hope that helps.
Just ordered one of these, as I snapped the topmost prong off the plug during some hasty unplugging - ages ago and have'nt since taken the plug out the wall. Thanks for the nudge!

The free delivery seems to add £6 to the price...
Do they ship outside UK/EU.

Possibly-useful information for anyone considering ordering one: I ordered a charger for £24.99 inc free delivery from ASUS UK on Friday August 12th; it arrived today, 17th - so that's about three working days.
The charger they've sent is an 0B-3LF (or OB-3LF), as opposed to the 2LF which came with my device originally. The new charger has some superficial labelling differences but appears from the outside to be identical. Some subjective testing suggests it does not get as hot as the original but I can't be certain about that.
They also included, unbidden, a free micro-fibre cleaning cloth thing which is quite cute (has a sticky side for attaching it to the device for storage). To my mind that brings the total value of what I received to about £10-worth, not £24.99 - but what are you going to do?!
How long is the cable?
Cable length
+1 on the length
Hope its longer than the original.
Still no car charger either, Asus come on..

Well, I know everyone will be *amazed* by this, but...
...
...it's *exactly* the same length as the original.
At the shop.asus.co.uk website the price I see:
£24.99 ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101 Adapter (with EURO & UK Plugs)
£6.00 Ship by UPS (buy over £30 merchandise it is free shipping)
(£5.17 Tax Included)
--------
£30.99 Total for one (1), or
£49.98 Total for two (2) with free shipping.
If I buy over £30 merchandise it is free shipping, but is there some coupon or other deal for cheaper?
Did I miss something?
====
UPDATE:
Thanks @maxh2005 I corrected my calculation above, you are correct the tax is included.
I guess it is worth buying two or something else to get free shipping.

Seems they had an offer on free shipping when I placed my order, because they charged me £24.99 in total. But I just tried shop.asus.co.uk and at the moment it's quoting £24.99 plus £6 shipping, making a total of £30.99 of which £5.17 is VAT.

Just done exactly the same myself.
Just the plastic top lug, so now when i plug it in i have to use a pencil to open up the top hole in the socket before pushing the adapter in.
Not paying 30 quid for a new one unless i have to.
If Asus would only sell just the clip on uk bit, I mean they are selling the kit with other country adapters included.
Suppose if i do buy a new one though then I could fit the euro bit onto the old one so i would then have 2 chargers, the euro one could then be used with a euro to uk travel adapter.

Does anyone know where else I can find myself one of these: Deluxe HTC Touch HD Desktop Charging Cradle -

Let you know when I get it on the build. Mobilefun have a big problem with getting in stock with new phone items. Took me 4odd weeks to get my diamond desktop cradle!
I got the deluxe cradle from eXpansys as a bundle together with the phone. The price was reasonable that way but if you want to get the cradle on its own, the current price is a lot more expensive there than mobilefun. Also my phone arrived first and had to wait for the cradle more than a week so I guess there aren't many of them around at the moment.
Ebay for 22 pounds has it but it is simple and ugly...but I bought it anyways...
As for what was written on the ebay one you found I got that one too, just ordered it last night, but it not at all nice, or very good looking it seems...Have you seen the blackberry all nickel and black holder...now thats a telephone cradle!!!
I made one myself.....

I'm in oz, I am having the same problem with the, 'available soon' down here also, so I gave the g/f a job to do while she is in the UK.
She has found, as you have, that even the stores that are showing 'in stock' actually dont have any.
One store has told us, 'they had them but have run out but are getting more stock this friday'.
IF they do get them, AFTER the g/f grabs mine, I'll post which shop here.
( price is £22.95 )
try the one from dealextreme, its good
its does his job
Arrived a few days ago brought it off ebay from hong kong only one seller so far
fits snuggly but little hard to get off one handed. Probably it will loosen up.
Lid to the spare battery charger is a bit flimsy worried I will snap it off.
Back has usb power input and usb to your pc.
Does the job and looks nice
bad points are that the lid is flimsy and the blue light that is at the front is very bright, if your like me you have the charger next to your bed then you dont really want a lit up blue room. I will try a black marker to make the light smaller might help maybe not?!

Note that is not the duluxe model but a different one.
http://www.idedata.no/butikk/butikk.asp?m=5&b=295
ordered mine from mobile fun on wednesday afternoon and it arrived yesterday morning - less that 24 hours
it is nice and sturdy, but really required 2 hands to remove the phone because it is so light, but then i guess it would have to weigh a fair bit to allow one handed operation.
As mentioned before the spare battery cover is flimsy as hell but seeing as I dont have a spare battery - this doesnt concern me.
Overall - very happy, it comes with a USB lead AND a wall charger so you can sync to pc and charge at full mains speed.
Well worth £20!

There's a lot of talk about the gtab being $349.98 at Sears for Friday/Saturday but I also thought I would mention that they have the case, from Viewsonic, for $5.99. And I'm talking about the actual viewsonic labeled case (that's really case logic). I just picked one up.
I did 2 and 4 the same price
I just got mine today. forget to get the case is it good one or cheap made stuff?

thought it would be a bit more "protective"....but it'll do the job for $6.50. A soft case for sure
I got one very nice for $5.99
That case is ok....But dont put it near you or sniff for to long, because the smell of fumes will knock you out.
It smells realy bad lol
i ordered one online and selected store pickup..
when i got there, the man came out with my item.. however it was a $100 harmony remote .. hahaha.. I shoulda kept my mouth shut and took it as my item was already "paid"..
Something wrong with sears, the item# showed the remote.. hehe
Oh yeah, and the case seems good enough for $6
Holiday Case at Sears for $6
I ordered the case online for $6, and picked it up at the store to avoid shipping. I was quite impressed. They call it the holiday case, but it is an official case for the tablet and it is made by case logic. It's quite a deal for $6. The best price I had seen for something similar was at Sams Club for $10.
I cut a piece of coraplast (corregated plastic) the size of the G tab. Then added a piece of sticky backed 3/32" foam to one side. It makes thecase more protective and cushions it. Total cost $2.00. Insert this into the sears soft case and you have an inexpensive solution.
Same case I got, I posted it here somewhere

Nice.... well I paid 29 for this case in December at office depot. I paid more darn it... but it does do the job for the Gtab.
The Sears case is good to prevent scratces but a little thin for my taste to selecting something more firmer like a portfolio...

If you don't mind shopping at AliExpress ..
Lots of accessories (including the HDMI dock, clip case, official malata case, wall charger, cooling pads/stands) has appeared for individual sale (ranging $25~$50 shipped).
Here is the link,
Enjoy.
new arrival: Fuse case black/brown: $37
White/Black clip case $58
Custom case with BT keyboard $85
Official case $38
Official wall adapter $23
Cooling pad with built in USB hub $40
Screen protector $14
HDMI docking station $48
HDMI cable $37 (according to steve it doesn't work)
Car charger $28
The good thing is with these available for single purchases, expect lots of drop shippers to put them on ebay (that most potential shoppers would favor over AliExpress).

the bluetooth case looks tempting, until I see ones that look nicer on fleabay for 1/2 the price for ipads.
talk about depressing
Here is a priced breakdown :
White/Black clip case $58
Custom case with BT keyboard $85
Official case $38
Official wall adapter $23
Cooling pad with built in USB hub $40
Screen protector $14
HDMI docking station $48
HDMI cable ..
HDMI cable just showed up $37 shipped
3 ft HDMI cable seems really short.
anybody try the cable out yet? very interested in getting one since a cable is a lot easier to carry around then a dock. plus i'm getting the case with the keyboard so all i will need is a cable. hope they come out with a 6 foot card if it does work
I would like to know the pin out
Grrrr. For $10 more, I can have the dock. I just want the connector, so I can make a super multi-squid cable, so I can build a mount for my car.
this is the same cable on the way to me to test... I'd wait before ordering, mine should be in next week and I'll post findings asap

If it works, I will be ordering a dock AND a cable from you.
Can you please take a picture of the connector on the cable? I want to see if they installed all the pins (to break out all the other connections). It would be greatly appreciated.
If both of those work for me, three friends will then be buying a dock and a cable from you, each

$37? For riz? Ok so I'd really like one of these and appreciate that it was created for a niche market, but that severely cuts into my whiskey budget. I could nearly have a bottle of The Glenlivet for that price.

Theres actually a far far more dubious reason for this. Never ever buy from these sellers. Example:
Going Price: $100
Seller: $10 + $75 S&H
Deceptive, but still below market cost right? Ok you get the item and its damaged, or a more likely a knock off. You contact the seller ticked off. He then apologizes and offers a refund to which you agree. You return the item on costing you $12 shipping costs then check your paypal and there is your refund of $10, because the rest was S&H. eBay is fighting these people and canceling their ads if reported, but many many people have been scammed and continue to be.
It cost me $3.97 cuz I gotta amazon prime

tried 1st one - drains power from phone instead of poviding it (when using supplied power cable). doesn't provide power to usb/SD adapter either
not sure whether to risk money on the rest now
sorry I cant se a charging port on the first picture.
The one in the middle has the icon for dc power. Just as it would provide charging power if you connect a normal charger there and then the device into the phone.
I have never had one of these so I cant provide any real life info or review of these devices. But damn u got a hold of one of those quick. It would take me a month to get one of those to my mailbox if I ordered it now.
edit:
it also states it will charge
"2. Charging when you connected the micro usb cable."

It was ages since i shopped there.
amazon is just a ripoff shít page.. they selling everything overpriced with shipping costing more than the item... and combining that with tax and import fee and the possible difference in currency from when total cost is calculated to when the total amount is withdrawn.
You could buy ten units for the price of one unit from Amazon at ebay or aliexpress.
eh... i dont live in a country where amazon is based. Nearest amazon is German amazon. It works using translation at every step until u get order confirmation

i'm not against ebay and use it a lot, but some things i want "now". not a week or 3 later and willing to pay more for that hence amazon - and only amazon prime and their lockers.

you can ask seller to send the parcel with singapost as they are very fast with delivery. And you can always return item without any problems.
You can also use some social engineering to get refund without even sending the item back. U can also get a new item on top of the refund.
Social engineering is a bit harder with Amazon depending with what office you reach when opening a ticket. Just because amazon has a whole department of people working to prevent these costumers by making it harder. A lot harder.
I agree with you. But I only pay more if I know exactly what item i need. Like a specific spare part if im in a hurry.
heh, i know what you mean about the engineering. i know someone who does that with everyone.
usually when i want something that's not a spare part then i want it asap. a spare hdmi cable or something i can wait and will buy off ebay
